Hi ladies
I'm trying to conceive no. 2. My aim was to ttc from January of this year - however due to one thing or another (very stressful time at work!) I have not been giving it my all. I have now decided I need to focus on ttc no.2 as I am very conscious of the growing age gap! Please join for a friendly chat and to hopefully support each other!

Stats
Age - 35
Ttc - #2
CD - 21
DS - 3 years 10months!

Don't want to obsess about it! However I think it's inevitable!

SnugglySnerd · 19/07/2016 12:53

Grin Don't worry penguin I will do if AF doesn't turn up tomorrow. No sign yet...

Novinosincebambino · 19/07/2016 13:48

Penguin13 · 19/07/2016 15:44

If you want some company Snuggly I will POAS tomorrow as well. Just for company you understand and not because I am a test obsessive loon. I can definitely stop any time I want Blush

BestBeastie · 19/07/2016 15:47

I don't think I've actually ovulated (cd13) but - heck - I'll do it anyway. Count me in!

SnugglySnerd · 19/07/2016 16:33

I haven't got a test yet as I can never resist testing early, is can easily pop out for one of no period tomorrow though!

Novinosincebambino · 19/07/2016 16:43

Please do Snuggly I'm on the edge of my seat here - I may fall off! and I haven't had any wine either.

flutterworc · 19/07/2016 19:20

Good luck!!! StarStarStar

SendTheNextOneIn · 19/07/2016 20:41

Well I'm due on tomorrow. I may have done a sneaky test this evening and it was a big fat negative. So I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle. I tried to get a FRER but they were all out, so I got a £1 one. It's 25miu so possibly not the most sensitive, so will test again in a couple of days if AF doesn't show. I have no symptoms of either pregnancy or AF so it's anyone's guess. It's our first month of trying though since having my coil out so early days anyway.

MASSIVE congrats to Penguin and Buddah, such awesome news. You guys give me hope!

Penguin13 · 19/07/2016 23:07

Good luck for tomorrow Snuggly. Rooting for you!

You never know Send. I totally thought I was out this month and the day before I tested positive (on day AF was due) my test was blank as blank could be. Early days yet though as you say.

SnugglySnerd · 20/07/2016 07:27

So today's the day! Still no sign of AF but I often come on in the evening.
No symptoms but I realised last night I don't have any spots, I usually have a breakout of really painful spots a few days before my period. Still not getting excited though.
Going to buy test this afternoon.

Buddahbelly · 20/07/2016 07:43

Good luck today snuggly, and anyone else I may have missed testing today. The fact you have no symptoms is good then snuggly, fingers crossed for you today!

Unfortunately im back to square one and ready to start trying again in a few weeks. I just didn't feel right, My symptoms had just gone and My fears were confirmed yesterday, so I'm back to symptom spotting in a few weeks again I suppose! yey! Hmm

Penguin13 · 20/07/2016 08:03

Oh Buddha, I'm so sorry. Sending some very unmumsnetty hugs Flowers. Be gentle with yourself over the weeks to come.

Buddahbelly · 20/07/2016 11:53

Thanks all, it was half the reason I didn't tell dp, I wanted to get to 6 weeks which I've only managed twice!

I'm out with my ds now having a drink and cake so he's cheering me up, who knew a 4 year olds poo jokes could be so funny!

So enough about me whose next to test!

BestBeastie · 20/07/2016 12:48

I got a smiley face this morning.... ...so I'm officially open for business. (yes, I have two monitors. Very sad, but very necessary it seems).

DH is not back until 10 tonight...tick tock tick tock.

RaRa25 · 20/07/2016 17:41

So sorry buddah, life is a botch sometimes. Take care and make sure you treat yourself.
Fingers crossed for you snuggly.

SnugglySnerd · 20/07/2016 17:42

Right, have tested. Bought first test in supermarket then ran into some relatives with it in my trolley, hope they didn't notice! That had a very feint positive but the control window didn't work so I got 2 more tests from the chemists and...they are both positive!
DH is somewhere between being pleased and wondering how we'll cope with two, I am just trying not to get too excited incase something goes wrong!

Spindelina · 20/07/2016 17:56

Congratulations, Snuggly!

flutterworc · 20/07/2016 18:07

FlowersCake Sorry to hear that Buddah - that's rubbish. xxx

Buddahbelly · 20/07/2016 18:22

Snuggly amazing news! I hope I haven't scared you with my tale. I dithered about posting because I didn't want any further worry with people but then thought you'd find out next month when I was back testing again.

I'll have a wine for you tonight Wink

Penguin13 · 20/07/2016 18:24

Congratulations Snuggly!!! Getting a faint positive when not even FMU is great! Remind me how old your first is? I am in the bury your head in the sand and it will all be fiiiiiiiiiiiiine camp when it comes to managing with 2 Grin
