Aged 35 or over TTC #2?

Hi ladies
I'm trying to conceive no. 2. My aim was to ttc from January of this year - however due to one thing or another (very stressful time at work!) I have not been giving it my all. I have now decided I need to focus on ttc no.2 as I am very conscious of the growing age gap! Please join for a friendly chat and to hopefully support each other!

DS - 3 years 10months!

Don't want to obsess about it! However I think it's inevitable!

Penguin I am with you, tested this morning and 100% BFN, not even a "is there a line or isn't there?" I am 12 or 13 days DPO so I'm out for this month. Hopefully AF will show up on Wednesday and then I can say I'm text book too. Good luck everyone!

I'm still waiting but loo roll was a bit pink earlier so I think my period is coming tomorrow. Also realised I'm away with work in my next fertile window, gutted about that.

Aaaannd Im out! Horrible headache was soon replaced with stomach cramps and af arrived not long after id bought 2 tests this morning . Gives me a chance to do a quick blast of atkins though.

At least Im prepared for next month, same as you novo going all out next month, in fact came on here to find out the name of the lube stuff and will be ordering a wholesale shipment from boots tonight .

Boo purple do you think a turkey baster and an overnight delivery from parcelforce is required for next month .

Also have a completely random question... Ive been reading today in preperation for next time about testing with ov sticks, some sites say you can ov twice in a month, so even if say I ovulated on a monday and we dtd, should i still carry on checking for the rest of the month just incase i ovulate again???

I think our collective DHs won't know what has hit them next cycle as I am definitely hopping on board mission conceive too. Toddles off to Google SMEP resoluely ignores fact that her sex drive will never rise to that particular challenge!

Sorry Buddah next month will be our month. In answer to your question I'm sure I have seen a thread where a woman was talking about ovulating twice so who knows? Everyone's body works differently. Two bites at the BFP cherry!

I read the reviews on amazon last night for pre seed and Conceive plus, they both look really good, Just googled the SMEP though too .

I was using preseed when we conceived DD. Just saying

Trying to think back to what I did with DD1 in case any of it made the difference. Going to start having a glass of full fat milk a day as that was one thing I was doing and supposedly helps. I acknowledge this is a very superstitious unscientific method.

Not sure I can bear to give up caffeine - I don't have a lot but there's not much that can beat the feeling of having a good cuppa.

Must remember to actually take my frolic acid and multivitamins. Pretty sure just having a bottle of them doesn't do much

Don't worry about caffeine too much. I have been decaf since January in my full fat milky cappuccino and it's not doing me any favours.

Maybe if we all get on the gin, caffeine, rare steaks and blue cheese we'll see some results??

Purple, when is AF due? You never know. Mine should be between tomorrow and Friday. I know I am not but my body is sending a few curve balls just to f@ck with my head. A wee dizzy turn here and a funny taste in my mouth there. We are going to fall out!

I'm due on today or tomorrow. Last month I was expecting to start on Thursday and came on on Weds night but very light so I wasn't too sure whether to count my period as starting on Weds or Thurs. Why is it so complicated??!!

Thank you Buddha but I am 99% sure I am out this month. I'm always the rule, never the exception so if I was I would have got BFP by now. Purple it's on you!

I'm out too I'm afraid, period started this morning. Next month doesn't look too promising because of badly timed work trip but maybe the summer holidays will be lucky!
