We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

I'm 31 in Hampshire. Also disliking being in limbo land.I've handed in my application for the promotion going at my work, no idea what to do if I don't get it.

Decided to wait til AF turns up before going to see GP about mid cycle bleeding. It'll be cycle 6 by then so if it is pcos or something I want to get the ball rolling now in terms of investigations and stuff. 8 days til poas.

No more poas! That's why I only tested on 15dpo. And 2ww was fine. Boobs are still sore but nothing else is happening. Yes. Trying for our first baby.

Russkispy when are you home from your holiday (and can get more?) hopefully by then any result would be definitive?

Kestrel - flying home tonight, into the land of limbo! Hopefully will have some answers soon! Also, need to decide as to what to do about work. Looking for a new position? I've applied for loads of volunteering work and received some emails to deal with upon my return. Hopefully, I'll find something soon to occupy my time. I worked overseas for 4 years, and now all of a sudden, I don't have a job! Everyone to tell me to relax, but I'm so unsettled. I wish I got a BFP now so I could concentrate on that! Fingers and toes are crossed!

Jem and Alice - I've POAS enough thank you very much. I just wish AF would show up - ideally not when I'm in the midst of my 19hr flight!!

Alice when in your cycle was the bleeding? I spotted for 3 days around CD 18, and still wonder if that was my AF and I'm actually now CD 15 of a whole new cycle. Then I think thats crazy and it was either OV or implantation. Or neither and I'm actually asexual. Who knows.

I am based in Northern Scotland, and also trying for 1st baby. Well, actually not trying this month as we didn't want a winter baby, didn't want to be pg when moving house/doing renovations and didn't want to be pg on trip of a lifetime.

Oh yes, yes, Kestrel, am totally aware of that. Just don't know why I'm feeling this way. Maybe it's all stress related. Not having a job, being made redundant all of a suddenly, and it was done in a horrible way while being in Iraq, talking to the UK employment Law solicitor as a result. Maybe all of this make AF late. But then other symptoms are hard to ignore. Must get our this limbo land very soon!

russ stress and hormones, regardless of where you are in your cycle you'll be producing progesterone which can do funny things to your body. Ttc is a nightmare of stress and anxiety. Only thing to do is enjoy the tww as much as possible with wine, soft cheese etc and see what happens.

But ill be honest, I felt off colour at about 14 dpo and I could smell EVERYTHING. But it really is absolutely no indication.

Thanks Direwolf, I can smell everything now too. But yet again, it could be anything! Where about's are you in your journey, so to speak?

Welcome Russ I agree with starky stress can play havoc with your cycles and it sounds like you've had a fair bit of stress recently! However, I know how it feels when people tell you to 'just relax!'

I have been a proper grumpy cow this evening. I'm glad DH is out as I would have no doubt snapped at him about something too.
Also we tried to dtd last night and he couldn't finish. I feel a bit mean as I don't think he was really up for it but he said he would 'oblige' when I said about the 2nd peak I got on the cb's and also to cover ourselves. So we've really only dtd twice so far this cycle. Now cd17.

This ttc lark really seems to play havoc with our men. And to think we were always led to believe they're sex crazed!

Ovia is being mean this month, she's basically trying to tell me she thinks I'm pregnant. I am less than convinced...

Evening ladies, officially week 5 today (still just stuck in the hoping it sticks phase). OH is having major problems understanding how I'm 5 weeks, when I ovulated/conceived 3 weeks ago! I have of course explained that it means 5 weeks since last AF but when I show him things like what size a 5week embryo is he's all "Yeah but you're not 5weeks"! Bloody men...he has to disagree with something!!

Sorry to hear about the limboness Russ and Fx. Buy a big stash of tampons...that's what I did... Then got BFP!!

skip it was CD20, one noticeable amount and cramping for 12 hours after. Nothing since. Never had anything like it, AF is always brown spotting for a few days beforehand and much heavier.
Maybe you did just have a mini period? Weird. Do you temp? I think you're upduffed

My Ovia gave up on me just now since I'm not updating it with AF! Got no news, doh! God, why can't it be so damn straight forward!
No plans this weekend apart from trying to relax about it all!

Yes russki she's given up on me too - like she's sulking until I test. I have researched until I'm blue in the face and my research is leading me to believe I am not pregnant. I just want AF now! Gas update though: my OH made me search the bedroom for a deceased rodent (I obliged. No way was I going to confess I was the source) felt like a moron searching under bed shouting 'all clear' whilst secretly releasing the most noxious gas I've ever had!

I'm not temping anymore as my sleep cycles are so irregular anyway. I'm trying to take this as a lesson in patience but it is so hard.

Wind is definitely an early pregnancy symptom . Personally I'm farting so much I'm actually bored of it! And on Thursday I accidentally let one rip in the office and there was no mistaking it! I just studiously ignored it

Cd28.... Still no sore boobs . looking at my notes I usually get the sore painful boobs 1-2 days before AF. (Just mildly tender still).

Please stop me over analysising this!

Hi Russ! Sorry to hear about your issues, fingers crossed once you're home you find out one way or another. I'm Herts based, just near N London so not too far away! What were you doing in Iraq? That sounds like a hard/intresting posting?

Bloody men - although Ni that even confuses me! I can see my DP being the same, well if he ever manages to understand basic biology and conception and manages to DTD!
I can't complain though, he's taking me to afternoon tea at the Ritz today, so excited. It was a Christmas present but has just rolled round.... At least I can enjoy some guilt free champers!
