Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

bluebird sorry about colleague betrayal - I would feel the same as you. You can get office voodoo kits... Just saying Confused

InspectorPenguin · 19/05/2016 22:13

Ah ha, milk! A new fixation for cycle 4 when it comes around :)
I love gold top milk even more than blue milk - would that be better for my ageing eggs?...

Thanks Kwick!

Kwick709 · 19/05/2016 22:14

jamjar thanks for sharing piccie.... How exciting! Amazeballs!

InspectorPenguin · 19/05/2016 22:16

Oh yes, Stark, good luck for tomorrow! We'll all be thinking of you and eagerly awaiting pics of MiniStark!

Kwick709 · 19/05/2016 22:23

Sorry if my absence caused concern but rather nice to have been missed i I have been in 3 different countries in 2 weeks - next week is going to be manic as well... I am still on rollercoaster of emotions. I would have been 12 weeks this week... I am still heart broken.

I think I saw I was down for June testing - no way I am afraid. I can only start IVF protocol again when have had 2 AFs and still no sign of first.

starky mega PMA and fx for tomorrow. Here are some Starky Stars: StarStarStarStarStarStarStar

lovelyfishy where are you staying in Venice? Such a lovely place to visit :)

Kwick709 · 19/05/2016 22:28

inspector Gold milk should be fine if organic. I know I sound incredibly middle class/hippie chick but when fat is involved then very important organic as if not pesticides used will go straight into you.

I am all caught up: hooray!!!

Off to bed... No doubt there will be a gazillon posts whilst I am asleep!!!

happybus28 · 20/05/2016 07:19

Hi all!

I was on the original thread way back last year but disappeared for a while as we had to postpone TTC due to work/money issues! Anyhow I'm back and trying again! Stats below

Age 28 (soon 29)
Cycle 1
CD10

Hope you don't mind me jumping back on the thread! Happy to see there's been so many BFPs since I left!

Kwick709 · 20/05/2016 07:40

Welcome back happybus!!!!

SuchaJem · 20/05/2016 08:27

Hi kwick sorry I'll shift you off June. Hope AF shows up soon!

Hello happybus good luck trying again.

Horrible cramps and very premenstrual now so just waiting for AF to come.
Is 5 months with nothing something to be concerned about?

Feeling really rubbish and down about it now

HepKestrel · 20/05/2016 09:43

hello happybus

Flowers Jem

am also feeling a little glum. Think my ov testers will last 2 more cycles, and then I won't bother anymore.

AliceScarlett · 20/05/2016 10:00

is 5 months with nothing something to be concerned about?

No, most couples will conceive within a year, that's why the NHS won't do anything before then. I think it's a worry after cycle 12.
But it is scary tho :( but then if it takes 6 cycles looking back at it it won't seem much at all.

Ni4444 · 20/05/2016 11:01

Jem it took me 7months despite timing sex right and doing everything else I could supplements supplements I know it's not much comfort...and every month is a disappointment, but it seems to be random when it happens (didn't even use pre-seed the month we got pregnant). I still don't understand how it happens
Sending lots of love your way xx

Peaches8Posies · 20/05/2016 11:06

Hey kwick thank you x. I'm also waiting on af showing up, fx crossed we are back to normal very soon.

jem i don't think 6 months is really a big deal, but when your trying so hard and so many people around you seem to get pregnant when ever they want it seems like soo much longer. If your unhappy and have a good gp maybe get an appointment and tell them your 6 months in to this and would like some reassurances. Can't see it doing any harm.

happy hello and welcome aboard.

Peaches8Posies · 20/05/2016 11:08

alice hope your gp is helpful too and you get some where with your bleeding

Kathrino · 20/05/2016 12:29

Oops totally fell off the thread when I came back from holiday.

Jem, we're in the middle of cycle 6 now with nothing. I'm going to give it a couple more months then start looking into getting tests done privately. It might just be one of those things but I'd rather not wait too long to find out if there is an issue that we need to address.

Sorry to all those who are also feeling glum FlowersFlowersFlowers

I thought we were going to totally miss ovulation as we've been rubbish recently and hadn't DTD for weeks but I think I ovulated yesterday and DH came home from work drinks just the right amount of drunk last night so at least we've given it a shot. I had some cuddles with my best friend's new baby last weekend which has only amplified the broodiness.

kavanaughkj · 20/05/2016 13:26

Good luck today Starky! Nice to see you back Kwick, sounds like you've been busy!

Just off out for a nice lunch with hubby but had to jump on and eee cautiously on here first - temps went triphasic this morning :-) I've been having to pee constantly as well and am still way thirstiest than normal. For the first time symptoms are feeling real and not imagined.

tries not to freak out

marmitetoast1 · 20/05/2016 13:38

Hey guys, mind if i join you?
I've just started ttc for the first time after 14 years (Shock) on the pill... currently waiting for AF to arrive so can get cracking on cycle 2!

HepKestrel · 20/05/2016 13:48

welcome marmite!

Mooseville · 20/05/2016 13:55

Sounds good kav

Welcome marmite

Sorry about the rush of AF's. I agree with inspector are our cycles somehow aligning? There was a lot at once.... Yeh to the Mumsnet sisterhood!

jem you're not out till you're out, don't beat yourself up until AF is actually here, as hard as that may be when you're sure she's on her way.
I echo what everyone else has said, 5 months isn't long in the grand scheme of things, and nothing to worry about, as long as 5 months feels when You're going through it. Maybe going and getting some tests would put your mind at rest a bit more?

On another note, yay it's Friday. We're off to walk out borrowed doggy on our own for the first time tonight, I'm well excited. I hope she doesn't run off or anything though Hmm

marmitetoast1 · 20/05/2016 14:02

Ooh Mooseville is that through the 'borrowmydoggy' thing? Someone at work was talking about this last week, I'd never heard of it before, sounds ace!
Happy Friday all Smile

SuchaJem · 20/05/2016 14:13

I'm out. Pretty fed up.

Thanks for the reassurance xx

Mooseville · 20/05/2016 14:19

Oh no, sorry jem FlowersCakeWine

marmite yes it is, we joined last week and met a lovely lady and her border collie in the park last week! It's such a good idea, good for the dogs to get extra walks and good for those who want one but can't due to living conditions/work etc...

kavanaughkj · 20/05/2016 14:46

Welcome marmite! It's a lovely friendly thread here, I'm sure you'll fit right in. Smile

Sad Sorry to hear AF got you Jem. It's properly bollocks and I know if she gets me this month I will be throwing my toys out of the pram ... wishing you better luck next cycle. Flowers

I'd love to try that 'borrow my dog' thing. DH and I rent an apartment so we're not allowed to have pets, and it would encourage us both to get a bit more exercise. I might suggest it to him!

marmitetoast1 · 20/05/2016 14:58

Thanks for the welcomes all! Smile and sorry to hear about the pesky AF arrivals . Borrowed border collie sounds fab, will be a lovely thing to do tonight! Dog-walking is really stress busting too I always think!

HepKestrel · 20/05/2016 15:06

So sorry Jem I was really hoping at least one of us would make it this week.

moose you got me investigating it too!

(looks like we'll need a new thread soon as well.
