Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

So sorry to hear of your loss peaches welcome back and fx you'll be back on the grads thread soon.

Happly birthday Kat! You can borrow my dogs if you like if you have a strong arm!

Alice fx that it's implantation bleeding!

fishy I get emotional before and after af and during ovulation. I think I must be sensitive to hormonal changes.

Jem I'm really hoping this is your month.

I think I'm going to give up with opks. It seems to be true that they aren't very reliable when you have pcos. Got another peak today! However, I do also seem to have a fair bit of ewcm too, so maybe it is ovulation this time. Had lots of ovulation pain Tuesday morning.
Might ask that priest to sort my ovaries out, be great if we could get a group discount Grin

Peaches8Posies · 12/05/2016 22:00

Thanks ladies Smile

Been trying to concentrate on being healthy so I'll join in with you guys. Although I went a massive walk yesterday and today and I'm now a fabulous shade of pink Confused that's with a hat and suncream on! Oh well, it's better than rusting away in the rain.

sucha giggled at the group discount comment, all aboard for that haha. Glad you enjoyed your wee drink, I might indulge in a nice fruit cider tomorrow make the most of the sun.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/05/2016 22:05

The waiting is the worst. Honestly it's fucking horrible. One week to go and then it's the scan date and we'll know what's going in in there if anything. I've had to pretend I'm on a diet because im so bloated and grotty.

peaches I'd take a bit of sunburn over the weird shade of green I've turned having not seen sunlight for 8 months #IloveScotland

Ok I've asked O-Man (we're pals now, he says 'Priest' and 'your lordship, o magic one' is too formal) and he says yes to the group discount and we're all to expect immediate upduffing - no need to wait for ovulation - pending the payment of 5billion Danish kroner into an account in Nigeria. seems legit to me - who's in?!

So my pre-holiday fitness plan didn't exactly work out how I planned. I'm now considering either a Jason Vale juice fast for 5 days or emergency amputation of my lower limbs in order to reach my target goal. I can't make up my mind, there's pros and cons to both.

Ni4444 · 13/05/2016 08:07

Well done for holding out Alice! Starky 🌟 for you!

Peaches I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I'd be falling apart right now...how are you doing? Thinking of you and sending lots of hugs xxx

Mother's Day conception is lovely! We conceived back home in Ireland, which I find lovely!!!

Health focus? I kind of got distracted from the yoga...but since BFP I'm not that hungry, and don't fancy crap stuff so eating really healthy, and getting loads of walking in just cos I've had loads of meetings on different sites the last week or two! I want to do lots of walking and yoga while upduffed...want the body to be strong!

AliceScarlett · 13/05/2016 08:24

Skip at least with a limb you know you won't grow the weight back Grin

SuchaJem · 13/05/2016 08:52

Sign me up skip that seems perfectly reasonable. Whilst we're there why not ask about your weight loss dilemma? Might be able to dodge that pesky amputation.

ni keep the body strong! Yes don't forget swimming think that's a good one for el preggos.

I'm sleeping sooooo badly at the mo, just can't seem to stay asleep. This is usual before AF but not usually this bad. I think it might be the cat though, since we moved he's been much more energetic during the night Envy

Working from home today hurrah! BrewChocolateFlowersHalo

HepKestrel · 13/05/2016 09:12

cd27...... no signs of pre AF sore boobs...... I know, I know ..... don't trust the boobs....

am getting impatient......

... but its friday...... the sun is shining ...... and OH has decided to be proactive in looking for a new job that he doesn't hate..... and am counting down to mini-holiday at end of the month...... so things not so bad in kestrel-land.

count me in for the group discount ;)

LovelyFishy · 13/05/2016 09:34

I'm up for the group discount too! We'll all be upduffed before we know it now!

My determined-to-be-happy mindset was tested badly yesterday. Right at the end of my shift I got told I haven't got the promotion I applied for. Fair enough, except I've already been doing the job on a temporary basis for the last 3 months, and they asked me to stay on an extra 2 weeks! Hypocrites much!!! I know I've been doing a good job, so why I was good enough to get the temporary position and suddenly not good enough now.... Grrrrrrr!!!

HepKestrel · 13/05/2016 10:02

How frustrating fishy !

Peaches8Posies · 13/05/2016 10:02

Morning everyone, we seem to have lost the sun Hmm

skip well done negotiating a group discount with O-man. I agree it all sounds 100% legit Grin

jem enjoy working from home Brew

hep yes, the boobs are known to fool us!

lovely that's pants about your job! And I agree cheeky to ask you to commit to another 2 wks. Can you have a post interview meeting and find out why you weren't selected this time round? Might help for future applications?

ni im really enjoying my walking just now, and it's great for keeping the blood circulating in all the right places. I'm doing kind of ok. Well I was until yesterday. A close friend let me know she's just about to hit her 12 wks mark. We would have been pregnancy buddies. I'm really happy for her but I won't lie it was a sad moment and really hit home for my loss. Just trying to stay positive and think that what's for me won't go by me....Sad

SuchaJem · 13/05/2016 10:24

Fishy what gits Envy

Russkispy · 13/05/2016 10:32

Hi there, here's my little story of TTC#1 for a baby#1
OV - on CD16 (usually CD13)
6dpo - vomiting and diarrhoea as soon as I woke up. Never experienced anything like it before! When reading on Internet, it might be a sign of implantation on 5dpo. Experienced no blood spotting.
Between 7dpo-13dpo - some days was feeling nauseous in the morning snd sometimes no symptoms at all. And no PMS or AF symptoms leading to AF week.
Was expecting AF on CD29 - nothing.
Cd30 - still no signs of AF or any other symptoms
CD31 (15dpo) - took first PG test - BFN. Did 3 times that morning and still negative. And yet no signs of AF. Boobs started hurting very late at night. And noticed some pink discharge inside. Nothing on the panties.
Today CD32 - (16dpo) - took another PG test this morning - another BFN. Boobs are very sore. But no discharge inside.
I've never been that late and just dont know what to think about it all. Apart from waiting, I guess.
Is anybody experiencing the same? And has anybody been in the same boat before? And could advise?
Thank you!

HepKestrel · 13/05/2016 10:33

Maybe we can get fishy's employer to pay our group discount?

HepKestrel · 13/05/2016 10:35

Hi Rus!

Many of us have been randomly late one cycle for apparent reason. No advice other than to wait a day or two and test again with a frer on first pee of the day.

Fx for you

FXSkip · 13/05/2016 11:16

Hell yes Hep

Fishy that sucks. I am in a similar(ish) position where I am doing manager work but they have said there is no 'bandwidth' to have me be made a manager. Well, sod them, I spend all day on MN :)

Russki welcome. We've seen it all here, and the only thing we know for sure is if you google it you will determine the following:

  1. You are definitely pregnant
  2. You are definitely not pregnant
  3. You have a rare hair follicle disorder that requires urgent medical attention (or something along those lines)

In our many, many collective months here we have learned not to trust Google, boobs, discharge, cervix position, HPTs and even our own gut instincts. Best thing you can do it keep healthy, distract yourself and patiently wait for AF. I personally am 8 days late, but my initial excitement has turned to being convinced I'm just having a duff cycle. Let us know though, we love a BFP over here!

Peaches I cannot imagine, nor do I have any meaningful advice I can give you so I am truly sorry. Her baby will be a bittersweet reminder of your experiences, I hope that with time it becomes more sweet than anything for you. XX

SuchaJem · 13/05/2016 11:37

Skip - 8 days late??

Russkispy · 13/05/2016 11:45

Thank you, Skip! But 8 days late? What's the explanation for it, I wonder?
I don't trust any of the sites and I'm totally aware that every woman on this planet is different and experience different symptoms! That's why I never bothered to send my post earlier as didn't want to bore you with it. But I feel like I'm late and experienced different symptoms this month as it's our first time TTC when we DTD a few days prior OV, then on OV day and a couple of days after OV. I'll carry on waiting and let you know X

SuchaJem · 13/05/2016 11:53

We don't get bored with it russ - check out the rest of this thread Wink

Good luck with your wait hope it yields the desired outcome!

HepKestrel · 13/05/2016 12:05

Russkispy irrational rants and musings are welcome on this thread !

If you need a rant to de-stress - then this is a safe place ! I certainly do from time to time Grin

FXSkip · 13/05/2016 12:06

Jem and Russki I know, its a joke. I tested earlier in the week (so I already lost my Starky Star) but BFN and I can't be bothered testing again. Unlike Russki we only DTD once, as we were not even living in the same house at the time (due to house move/kitchen renovation - don't worry!)

I'm trying to focus on being fit and healthy, and trying not to keep thinking about it! Its so hard though!!

HepKestrel · 13/05/2016 12:19

wow fx i am impressed by your zen !

Russkispy · 13/05/2016 13:18

Thank you, ladies, for your support so far! I'm in Majorca at the moment and went for a walk when all of a sudden started feeling light headed. DH is with me and got a bit worried. I don't usually get light headed. And we drunk loads of water and Oj today and had enough to eat. So not sure what this is all about then?!
I've recently become redundant (was working in Iraq) but got back last month and in time for fertile window. Therefore we DTD from CD10, all the way to CD18! Haha decided to cover the grounds from all angles! Can I ask your age? I'm 40 now, DH41. And is any of you based in Kent? I'm on garden leave right now and getting anxious about not working. Friends told me to relax but find it hard! So want to know whether I'm pregnant or start applying for jobs! Hate this limbo situation! Rant is over! Thanks for listening!

HepKestrel · 13/05/2016 13:51

ah yes, the joys of limboland Hmm.

take it easy, drink lots of water and take care in the sun.

SuchaJem · 13/05/2016 14:28
