New here TTC baby #1 Cycle #1

Hello, I'm new to MumsNet. We are officially going to ttc baby #1 at the end of September but I'm 1dpo and in the 7 days leading up to ovulation we DBD 4 times. I'm so so hoping that AF won't make an appearance on the 22nd August! Just starting the tww. Anyone else in this boat, or anyone else ttc on cycle 1?

Af fur for me tomorrow and tested on frer this morning bfn . Gutted eaiting for af tomorow now !

Well AF arrived over the weekend.. Here's to month 9! :-)

I got a BFP today! Very excited! DH is over the moon. I did a test two days before AF was due which was BFN, now 5 days overdue & showing a BFP! This was our 5 month of TTC xx

Hi All,

Anyone in the 2ww and driving themselves crazy? Googling if random things might be a sign?!

I do that all the time Ren! Lol
My current situ: still waiting for HER, she's 4 days late which is unknown for me!! Obviously I think that's a good thing but I know we didn't dtd this month so no chance. So I think, maybe I conceived last month that that last period was actually implantation - happens right! Except that would have me at nearly 8 weeks with minimal symptoms (which I have had other months) And a bfn on Monday to boot. Bfn at 7 weeks must be extremely rare right? (yes I've googled) So I know what all this most likely means yet I'm still "hmm I wonder if I am pregnant"
Why do we torment ourselves?! super clutching at straws! X

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm about 8 days PO have done a test already, big fat no. I'm not usually so quick to test but have been having cramping and a really runny nose (which I have read can be an early sign) probably just my ibs and a cold! :-)

Yes there seems to be lots of big bumps and baby's everywhere I look also!

AF finally arrived 4 days late which is quite unusual for me but I got to enjoy some champers at the weekend and I won't have to pretend to drink on my hen do in a few weeks (look how I'm finding the positives!)

How is everyone else getting on? What month of ttc are we all on now? I'm going into month 10

I'm good. Really want to avoid going to the docs after one year to be prodded and poked so as we are now into month 10 I've got some cheap ovulation sticks and have been tracking this month. Looks like I ovulated on Sunday and have dtd in the right time frame so fingers crossed!

Not to bad thanks. Went for a meal for a friend's birthday and got stuck at the end with all the mums. So none stop talking about babies and parenting, and talking about when they are gonna try for the next one and how people without kids don't know what being tired is really like! URGH!

Two more people I know are having babies the end of the year. It feels like everyone is is getting pregant apart from me!
I think im gonna book a weekend away to cheer myself up lol

Aaw Paige it's tough isn't it. We have to try and look on the positive side though even though it's very hard! We can still have a cheeky drink, impromptu date nights and save up more money to spoil our future little ones even more :-)

Don't know if anyyyoooonee reminds me but I was on this thread in Nov. I fell pregnant & had an ectopic (all is good now though :) )

I'm back on the TTC mission now & remember lots of people were TTC or getting BFP when I was last on here so just thought I'd say hello .

How are we all doing? Any bfp?

I've not been on for a while as been busy getting married and being on honeymoon :-) the distraction has actually been good for ttc as its stopped me being stressed about it all as had other stuff to stress me!

I'm now in my 12th 2ww so if no luck this month then it's off to see the doctor for us both.

I thought I might have had a chemical pregnancy last month but who knows maybe just dodgy cheap internet tests :-)
