Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

nickynackynoo31 · 01/06/2015 21:38

choc

VioletIbiza88 · 01/06/2015 22:06

Glad to have you back Nicky that sounds a bit messed up about your two week AF, has that happened before?

Choc I thought of that but then if I decided to miss a day I would be thinking what if that's the really important day?? I've read different things on the every other day v's every day dtd-ing. Think that the advice used to be eod and that advice was given because most men don't know whether or not they have a low sperm count, and if they do they need the days off to regenerate, so that advice was given to all just in case. Now I think the advice is as much as you want, as far as I know it is anyway.

We might not manage 6 days in a row anyway, last month the most we did was four in a row. Lol at the things we share on a ttc forum!?

Issie339 · 02/06/2015 08:09

violet do you reckon you'll have time to do us one of your round-ups of who's who? As you are the master at them Grin

Morning everyone

Nicky have you just come off the pill? Could that of done something? I had a withdrawal bleed stopped and then had more bleeding but only for 2 days. This is my first month off the pill.

I used my OPK this morning and still nothing, if anything, the reference line was lighter! :( I might of missed it by only testing every other day (i'm hoping anyway) rather than the fact that i might not be ovulating.

How is everyone else today? :)

VioletIbiza88 · 02/06/2015 09:12

Issie I will do one tomorrow I've the whole day free. I've seen other threads that have nice shiny spreadsheets attached to the top of the thread, I'll not be able to do that, but I'll do what I did last time. So if everyone could leave their stats when they next come on for collating. I.e. Violet, 27, cycle 3, TTC#1, OTD 17/06/15 that would be lovely.

Pink I also thought the same thing, the opks I've done so far have all been really light, but I think that the darkest one so far was Saturdays (CD11) and then I think Sundays and yesterdays have been slightly lighter?? which opk's are you using again? The one's I've got work best with afternoon urine so I won't know what's going on today until 2. Did find a tiny bit of EWCM last night though so hoping for a darker line today, but tbh I don't really trust these opk's. Might go back to clearblue ones if I don't get a bfp this month.

Rachelc82 · 02/06/2015 11:58

Rachel 33 ttc #1 cycle 11 af due 26th June. Thank you

nickynackynoo31 · 02/06/2015 12:27

violet/pink...no its not happened before but had coil removed end of march and was only really the second bleed I'd had Confused

I'm hoping it's just my body getting back into the swing of things and hopefully will play ball soon.

nickynackynoo31 · 02/06/2015 12:28

ttc#3, cycle 2 not really a clue when a due...Hmm

pinklady26 · 02/06/2015 13:26

Violet Well if i compare, my darkest ones were last week so maybe that was me ovulating. Who knows. Im actually using clear Blue but the normal ones, not the digital ones. I wish i had spent a bit more and got them really but its too late now really. Its expensive business isn't it.

Pink 26 TTC #1 OTD 16/6/15 ish

inmyshoos · 02/06/2015 13:45

Can i join too ladies? Smile

Shoos 39(omfg just turned 39 at weekend and feel soooo old!! Blush) ttc#4 cd18

I used some cheapie opks. Had a positive on cd14. Was faint on cd12/13 dark and positive on cd14 and by cd15 completely blank!!

Fx for lots of bfp ladies Flowers

VioletIbiza88 · 02/06/2015 14:48

Hi shoos welcome to the thread! I'm a day behind you on CD14 today. Just done an opk and still a very faint line. Thought today might be the day but it appears not. Hoping for a positive tomorrow! That sounds completely normal about your opk's by the way. We will probably be testing around the same time along with pink too, that's if my ov hurries up!

inmyshoos · 02/06/2015 15:19

I did two per day violet so as not to miss it! Have you plenty sticks?

VioletIbiza88 · 02/06/2015 16:55

I've been testing once a day shoos but I'm going to test twice starting today as I think it must be soon now. Tested at 2 so going to test at 10pm ish. Is it really necessary to not wee for four hours do you think? Makes it more disappointing when its negative when youve made that kind of effort lol!

Issie339 · 02/06/2015 16:58

Thanks violet!

Age 30, ttc #2 (dd age 2), cycle 8, otd 22 June.

Welcome inmyshoos ttc #4, wow! How old are your fc? Big family's are fab.

Eek, so much to catch up on...wretched work getting in the way of important mn baby-making business Confused!

Violet, missing a vital day is the exact reason I have ignored that concern so far. Yup, 6 days is tricky. Last month, I'm sure DH was drifting off mid-shag by day 6. (hoping that says more about him than me Grin). Fx for the ov asap!

Pink, it could be because it is only month 1 off the pill? Your body may still be adjusting...? Ridiculous money spent on pee sticks!

Hi Shoos Smile. Did you dtd in the run up to cd14?? Fx for you in the tww!

chocfireguard · 02/06/2015 17:05

Oops, sorry Violet...
Choc, 27, ttc#1, cycle 3 due today

inmyshoos · 02/06/2015 18:48

violet i had read not to use first morning urine but i figured for me as i drink so much, it would be most concentrated so did one in morn and one in afternoon and one at bedtime too because im desperate

So my faint ones were the morning of cd13 and afternoon of cd13. The dark one was morning of cd14. If i can work out how to add pics will put them on if anyone interested in seeing them. They are just cheap ones from Homebargains. £2.99 for 5.

My other dc are 10, 8 and 6 but all have birthdays later in yr so almost 11,9 and 7. Big gap if we manage #4 but i always wanted 4 or 6 but after #3 i just felt i had enough on my plate. I went through a divorce when dc1 was a tiny baby so think my stress levels were through the roof. Now i would just love a wee baby to enjoy. The older ones would love a baby. I think one now would be so different to having 3 under 4!

Looking forward to seeing the list of who is who and where we are all in our ttc journeys.

pinklady26 · 02/06/2015 19:11

Oooohhhh choc are you testing today or tomorrow? Yes my body is still adjusting so it could just be that, I'll soon find out I guess!

Hello shoos #4! big family's are lovely :)

Who wants to buddy up...thread 2!
chocfireguard · 02/06/2015 21:54

Crikey, Shoos, that'll be a wonderful, mad, happy full house. Sorry that you went through a bad break up Flowers. I'm interested! All of a sudden, lines on sticks become the things of dreams!! I'm saying deffo for cd 14 judging by the pics, and some well timed dtd.

I will test in the morning, but I can feel the familiar cramp coming on, so af may well beat me to it Angry....

inmyshoos · 02/06/2015 21:58

Good luck choc i always had crampy pains at the beginning of each pregnancy so doesnt always mean af. Fx Smile

VioletIbiza88 · 02/06/2015 22:54
