just had a call from my dr, was a bit worried as she wasn't supposed to ring until tomorrow. But she wanted to tell me we have 4 blasts today (day 5) which will be frozen/tested and we still have 6 left that will be grown until tomorrow so we may possibly get more. very shocked and :o here, she said it was much better than they had expected too!
:o :o :o

hinkyhonk · 03/11/2015 14:07

Woo woop. Great news beedle. Am lurking and brooking

Imps9 · 03/11/2015 15:38

Oh hoooooooooooray Beedles!!! That is brilliant! Sort of steals the thunder from my pant snot celebration, but I'll forgive you.

keepitgoing · 03/11/2015 15:53

Yee ha!! That's awesome! I hope you are in test, better they don't waste time putting back abnormal embies. Ooh I have such a good feeling about this cycle for you!

Well then, get on with it Imps! FWIW, I believe you can have plentiful amounts of CM higher up in your cervix, even if there is limited evidence of it in your underwear.

And good news for you, too, Beedle Smile

We had a The Sex last night (not in my fertile window yet). I am woken at 6am as I need to tend to the girls and I had a couple of those doubts again: Imagine doing all of this and getting a baby feed in/Imagine getting the girls dressed and a toddler.

Why does this keep happening? I think I'm 80-90% willing to try but these thoughts keep coming in. Then in the past I've chickened out when I know I'm fertile and the feel regretful because I know the chance for the month has passed.

Agh! Help me!

Imps9 · 04/11/2015 13:03

Yes, will you get another update today Beedles?

Mol don't worry about doubts creeping into your mind. It's common. Happens to me all the time too. Just focus on the notion that once DC3 has arrived, you won't under any circumstances want to send him or her back even when things are tricky. And flipping it on it's head, if DC3 doesn't come along for whatever reason, you can thank your lucky stars that you haven't had all the downsides to contend with!

As for Pant Snot there is lots there now which is good. Hoping I'll get my smiley face on Sat as weekend shagging is always easier than weekday knackered-from-work shagging.

Imps9 · 04/11/2015 13:31

Gah, just noticed that I put "it's" rather than "its" above. What an idiot.

keepitgoing · 04/11/2015 14:20

Oh is flashing not a full on smiley? #toocheapforrealopks

Cm here is tinge of blood. Right on time. AF IS NEVER FUCKING LATE Angry

OP posts:
Imps9 · 04/11/2015 14:27

No, flashing is "high fertility", non-flashing smiley is "peak fertility". First time I've ever used the digis - only bought them because I was going to take myself to Coventry and needed to know when ov was for certain. I've never had what I would consider to be a positive on an IC so I don't trust myself to read them properly.

So am making use of the luxury of digi egg sticks in my last two cycles before next IVF!

Imps9 · 04/11/2015 14:28

Oh, and a big kick in the face to AF too Angry

QueenMolotov · 04/11/2015 19:58

Fuck it. I just need to fucking fuck it, don't I? (Please excuse the terrible pun. It's been a (motoring related) trying day).

I can't be locked into this cycle of indecision forever. It's been 2y in January since the 3rd baby cogs started turning Blush Most sane and fertile people would have a 1yo by now

And YES to kicking AF in her stupidly smug face!

FuzzyOwl · 04/11/2015 21:04

Hello, can I join you? I am ttc my second. Smile

Imps9 · 04/11/2015 22:32

Why of course you can Fuzz. Welcome! Now that you've joined this thread, you're guaranteed a BFP - you just need to find the right peestick.

Tell us about yourself...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 05/11/2015 06:51

Sorry didn't get a chance to update yesterday. One of the nurses rang in the afternoon and said that there weren't any more that were good enough. But that's ok I'm really happy with my fantasic four :o I have to ring at the start of next AF (december). I don't Think its likely that we will fit in a day 5 transfer Before Xmas (and actually I'd rather not even try!), but they want me to ring then ayway.

keep is the plan scratch this cycle and then maybe a SP cycle Before Xmas, or will you find out at the appointment on Sat?

Welcome fuzz

keepitgoing · 05/11/2015 07:59

beedle 4 is perfect, I had 4, remember? And one of them is kip Grin
Yes, that's my plan... But we will have to see if the doc agrees on sat... AF should show today, so I should fit in a cycle before Xmas but we will see

Hi fuzz i am also ttc#2. My DD is nearly 2 and was 2 years and one ivf cycle in the making. Have been trying since AF came back when she was 9m, 2 failed FETs, and looking to start a fresh cycle. Oh, and doing it the old fashioned way in between (we are unexplained). Fun, fun, fun

QueenMolotov · 05/11/2015 09:15

Hello Fuzz, welcome to the thread! Smile

I'm deciding whether to ttc dc3 and have been stuck in a limbo of indecision for a long time now. DH wants to try. Our daughters seem keen. I think I want to but have doubts that hold me back. They're getting quieter, but still there. I had zero doubts ttc dds 1&2.

We have 2 girls: dd1 (almost 7yo) conceived naturally after 9m ttc and dd2 (3.6yo) was conceived after 2y and 6 cycles of clomid. I then wrangled for an ELCS and got one, but it was a big fight. TTC dd2 nearly broke me (she was worth every micro-second of it, though) and I think that experience is still in the back of my mind somewhere.

Pastamancer · 05/11/2015 10:15

Welcome Fuzz, as Imps said you are now guaranteed a BFP. What we can't do is tell how long you will be pregnant, some people here have been pregnant for years but haven't found a peestick to agree yet. I have been a Brooker since 2011, not long after this group was formed and am very lucky to have 2 brooking babies.

Beedle 4 is a great number and they confirmed that on the 4th so that is bound to mean it works for you.

Imps9 · 05/11/2015 10:44

THURSDAY'S UPDATE

Pant snot: plentiful
Egg stick: flashing smiley

end

Managed The Sex last night. Was very proud of Mr I - he was knackered, stressed and so not on the mood but for the first time, like, ever managed it nonetheless.

AFM Fuzz, been TTC DC1 for about 5 years now, with a few months off a while ago. Mr Imps' swimmers are Officially Fucked. Had miracle BFP last Sept which ended in MC at 6 weeks, failed IVF in Jan, another miracle BFP this June which was a chem, IVF which ended in a chem in Sept and now we're gearing up for IVF in Jan. There's always something to keep it interesting, that's for sure.

Beedles your Fabulous Four will indeed bring you your BFP - how could they not?

keepitgoing · 05/11/2015 12:50

Good news on the pant snot imps could it be leftovers form last night and well done mrimps!

OP posts:
Imps9 · 05/11/2015 13:20

undoubtedly some leftovers there too Keep

So tell us about your appt on Sat. Have you requested a copy of your file to take with you? If you go private will you have to have tests with them or will they take the results from the self-funded place? What questions in particular are you going to ask? Will you have a scratch? (I may already know this but have forgotten)

Anyone seeing any fireworks tonight?

keepitgoing · 05/11/2015 13:25

Ha, the nhs hospital say it will take 40 days to send our file, even though our priv consultant works there too! We have all our file from Thailand so there's not much we don't have/know. We should be able to get SA and my blood test results which have been done on the nhs through our gp, I think... I'm sure they'll accept them

Yes I want a scratch, as the nhs Hosp doesn't do it we'd need to go there anyway. I suppose I'll just ask her if she thinks there's any benefit to LP for me, the registrar we saw at BWH said no real difference so go with what worked though I'm 3 years older now

OP posts:
Imps9 · 05/11/2015 14:18

40 days?! Fuck me! How can it take longer to whack a file in the post than it does to do an entire LP cycle?!
