Rolling the dice for no.3 over here too but pretty sure I'm on CD1 so a bit . It's reminded me how much I don't like ttc (well the sex bit I like its the waiting that drives me nuts) and how being pg worries me so much. I wish it was all like it is in the movies, all bump rubbing and wistful picking out baby clothes. Sadly not reality - bloody dream toting bastards

Ooooh one thing I've been meaning to ask - are the ovary scans done via dildocam? I'm assuming so but wanted to check.

Imps. Beautiful thread!! I stimmed for 10 days. EC was on a Wednesday, ET the following Monday. At Colchester, they only do EC on a Wednesday as the clinic isn't open weekends. I too would cancel work things

And yes, dildocam will become your friend. My 10 week scan was an abdo one, but until then, it was all internal. Totally becomes second nature

My wombat scan was a dildocam and it was fine - absolutely fascinating what they can see by shoving a lens up your fanjo. Technology, eh?

Work thing will be a nightmare - there's 40 external delegates signed up for each day, and the chap who will need to replace me is on holiday this week...and my boss . Hopefully I will be able to do at least one of them.

maybe how on earth do they manage to only do EC 1 day per week? would they have sent you somewhere else if your eggs ahd been ready on say Monday?

imps do you know how they do EC? I think mine is fairly unusal as I only get morphine and local anaesthetic, I'm just wondering if you'll be fit enough to do an all day seminar the day after. And does your boss know about the IVF yet? Oh and fab shiny new thread :o

Boss doesn't know about IVF and I don't intend to tell him. He knows I've been having lots of medical tests but not what for (happily he trusts me and hasn't asked for full details/proof of appointments). I think I will tell him that I've been scheduled for emergency (albeit minor) surgery which cannot be put back on medical advice. I do not consider that to be dishonest....

Seminar is only for 2 hours in the morning and I can do it sitting down so won't be too difficult. I think I'll be okay.

Meanwhile, I chickened out (again) last night but keep thinking about going for it. I'm scared about a few things, you see, but still keep thinking ... and then I'm scared that too much time will pass by and I'll regret not at least trying ... but then I think of realities and practicalities and am back to square 1. Thinking in circles is all I'm doing.

CD14. The chance is still there this month.

Dildocam done - 14 follies on one ovAry and 10 on the other one so looking pretty good. Blood test done to test for oestrogen and next scan booked for Friday.

Stupidly I forgot to wipe all the gel off so it's all feeling a bit moist and squelchy down below. Schoolgirl error.
