I've done 5 days of stimming and have been for a blood test this morning, I have to ring this afternoon to find out if I need to change the dosage. And I will probably be told to come in for scan on Thurs/Fri.

Yes, dildocam this morning. Slightly disappointing really - my small follies have pretty much stopped growing and I only have 4 above 14mm and 3 just shy of 14mm (that's the size they expect to produce fertilisable eggs). Nurse said she was surprised that I haven't responded better with my AMH (which is 37.5). She said that I shouldn't feel too despondent - but the fact that she thinks I should feel some level of despondency makes me feel very despondent!

She will speak to the doctor to see it my Gonal-F needs to be increased for the last couple of days.

Still, it only takes one, especially given that they will only transfer one embie anyway. And as wise Cups said, the first round is always seen as a bit of an experiment anyway.

That's still at least 7 potential eggs lovely Imps, which is still great. And there is still time for the others to catch up. Brooking like billy-o lovely.

And for you too Beedle, hope all is good with the test results.

imps I try to tell myself that its better to have a few good eggs than loads and loads of less good ones. And you never know if some of the smaller ones will catch up, and what thye will actually get when you go in for egg collection. Grow follies grow. Are you getting scanned again before EC or have they now set a date for it?

X posts. The nurse will call this afternoon once she's spoken to the Dr - they may decide that I should trigger on Weds, in which case I won't have a scan. Alternatively they may decide that I should have a scan on Weds to determine if I should trigger on Weds or Thursday. The latter would be pretty good actually as it would mean EC on Sat so no time off work at all!

I had 16 Imps, but I agree with Beedle, the number isn't important, the quality is. Hoping that the EC works out well time wise lovely

Am I the only person who found EC quite sore afterwards? It took me a good 4-5 days to feel ok again.

imps - I know nothing about IVF but 7 sounds like a very good number to me.

beedles good luck with the stimming - are you hoping for the dosage to stay the same or change? fingers crossed for a good stimming session for you.

loopy when is official test day? is there anything you can start doing now if you are fairly sure you are diffed? forgive me I can't remember what it is that you need to do to help get a sticky one. if its something you can do anyway, it is worth getting started now or do you need to see a dr to get something prescribed.

we are approaching shag week in the hinkers household - anyone got any opinions on how often to smack the rat? mr hinkers is suggesting three times a day not sure how he thinks that will be physically possible once you've factored in the two small hinky chaps, work, commuting, eating, sleeping etc. negotiations continue....

I have been booked in for a dildocam on Thurs, and I haev pointed out that I only have enough stimming drugs to last me until Wed evening. Clearly I'm going to stim for more than 8 days so i would like to collect some more drugs before thursday. I'm not sure what my dr was thinking! My dosage is staying the same but I wasn't really expecting it to increase as its quite high already.

I'm feeling a little bloated or it might just be newly washed jeans that are the problem :o

hinky - I am impressed. We are aiming for once a day. Started yesterday. I'm a bit on the back foot as Was faffing about as to when to actually start so DH kind of made the decision yesterday! I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with the idea of regular shagging .

hinks, that's impressive talk from MrHinks! When TTC, we tried to make sure that we smacked the rat every 2 days. When would you even have time for 3 times a day? With the children around, I barely have time for 3 cups of tea a day!

As for people with lots of little children, a friend of mine had 4 under 3 (yes, 3!) at one point with DC1 2.9 yo and DC2 15mo when her DTs were born!
