purdey I have also been worried about being acidic. My cm was acidic I know cos I tasted it but I have cut out alcohol and am having less meat and sugar. Now it seems fine.

Also concerned about career as I do feel it affects my body,me am either full of adrenaline or crashing, but can't do anything about it at the mo

Excited - as others have said, spotting in early pregnancy is very common. Hang on in there my lovely. I would take another hpt in a few days. If the spotting continues, you might also want to arrange an early scan at your local EPU (these tend to be more definitive from around 5-6 weeks pregnant) just to be on the safe side.

Victoria - sorry about the cramping. I've "only" been ttc since last May (which I know is nothing compared to you, and some others on these pages), but I'm already utterly fed up of it. I really do feel for you - the emotional roller coaster every month is so very wearing. You WILL get your BFP though, I just know it.

Oh thanks Cariad I got a bfn 11 dpo last month and not a positive until 13dpo. Today is 10dpo so I don't know it it's worth testing and bring disappointed?!

All it says on the instructions is don't read after 10 minutes.

Yeah I read it once the background is white, usually at about 5minutes.

Morning all! Husband decided we should DTD this morning being valentines day & all. All I could think was 'but what if the new influx of spunk interferes with what might already be happening up there?'. Someone tell me this is ridiculous and won't have made any difference, please?

Also, how long after this opk do you reckon I would have ovulated? This was last Friday afternoon (CD12), and we DTD Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon evenings. I thought I may have had ov pains on Monday but I'm not really sure, and I want to decide how many DPO I actually am. Anyone?
