POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't? 

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Option decorations include photographs of political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

mountain I'm so sorry honey. Sending a hug. As everyone's said it' can vary so much. I temped and charted through wtf cycle and can send you chart if you like? It was bit crazy for two weeks - odd temp fluctuations and ewcm randomly, but then settled into normal cycle and I ovulated on cd29 which is when I got pregnant. So cycle was around 7-10 days longer. I used cbfm to check peak day. It was expensive POAS for so long but worth it in the end. As long as you wIt to get bfn, then are emotionally and physically ready I was told no reason why you shouldn't try again straight away. It took me a week after bleeding stopped to get bfn. I hope this helps you a bit. You will get there sweetheart, you will xx

Also as dulcet said there is the ttc after mc board. I didn't feel it helped me but others have found it tremendously supportive.

kez I'm so sorry you're struggling. Your dh is right in a way though - worrying could be affecting your cycle. It's so hard but try to stay away from obsessing

oh kh old tradition used to be that starting the Fred was lucky and whoever started it would get their bfp in it. so it would be someone feeling particularly down who would get nominated or a long term ttcer.

Morning Lovely Viroids got that Cape on again last night! Must say - feeling bloody marvellous now I'm off the vino every night.

Got fingers, toes and eyes crossed for those POAS in the next few days. Just heart-breaking for those of you who have had MCs recently. I've had 2 in the past - I tried to be philosophical and think well at least I can get upduffed but it's easier said than done sometimes.

Anyway, work to be done here. Child-free weekend coming up as girls are with their dad so I'll be shagging for England. Think I iced last weekend but who knows when you are as old as me so plan to stick to the JSing approach!
