Somebody on here put me onto her. Her stand up comedy is v funny. Pelvic floor is one of those things though, you know you should do it but don't get round to it!

sparechange · 10/11/2014 07:43

Pilates! Great for pelvic floor and core strength and flexibility and and and I love it!
Give it a go - the core strength and lower back strength will be very worth it when you are pregnant as well...

Pipbin · 10/11/2014 09:16

Well yesterday Berry cat SAT ON MY LAP. This has never happened before! She sleeps on the bed but not on us and usually sits on a spare chair in the living room. But yesterday she sat on me. This is very exciting and historic.
I'm off all week with my feet up but DH is poorly so has taken the day off sick. Very annoying. How am I meant to watch Homes under the Hammer with him hanging about?

Gillster · 10/11/2014 09:26

It's a sign Pip!

Very inconsiderate of your DH to be ill. I love Homes Under the Hammer. The last 2 polyp ops I had this was on the TV before I went into theatre. Had to get my DH to record them so I could find out what happened in the end.

Good luck Lumen for ET today. The unicycle and fire batons are on hand Grin

ladybunnikins · 10/11/2014 09:29

I hope it's a sign, Pip. Fingers crossed for you and Smidge. My first symptom with both BFPs was insomnia from about 4am.

beakybeak · 10/11/2014 11:05

Sorry I've missed heaps! Will catch up later but Lumen good luck for et today, let us know how you get on Smile

Pip oooo the cat on the lap is a good sign! Hope you can enjoy homes under the hammer in peace

I need to up my pelvic floors too. My friend who had a baby did them religiously and after the birth was told she healed better and quicker than anyone the nurse had seen!

Jellie any calls re donor eggs yet?

Gill how's downregging going?

Spare was it your dildocam yest? Any idea on when your fet will be?

Trillium73 · 10/11/2014 12:26

Back at the clinic this morning. Follies are progressing well, ranging from 15 to 19mm now and lining 6.9 (I must've misheard the previous measurement!) So EC will be Wed or Thur, they'll call this afternoon once they have my bloods back. I'm nervous and excited!

pip cat on lap is definitely a good sign I'd say Grin

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Pipbin · 10/11/2014 13:17

Exciting stuff Trillium, remind me, have you done this before?

And I too think that the cat in my lap must be sign. Especially after she and Ganesha had a chat.

tigerdog · 10/11/2014 13:50

definitely a sign pip, cats know all of the secrets of the universe!

Good luck today lumen and great news on progress Trill

Hope everyone else is ok!

ps: spotted this recipe and though I'd share. I do love spicy milk drinks!!

Jelliebabe2 · 10/11/2014 14:01

Bushy - twitching my Twinkie as we speak Lol

Spare I'd like to try Pilate's but my gym don't offer it at a time I can go. I'll see if there's something at the weekend.

Pip - love a lap cat! In fact you can't peel my cat off most of the time.

Beaky no news yet.... Fingers xd for this week though... Grin

Trillium! That's Brill. Good numbers hurrah when will you be in for ec?

I've given up and come home. Tired of coughing all the time. Feel like I've gone ten rounds. At least I'm cosy and have the tv on!

lumen · 10/11/2014 14:07

Good news trill, hope you don't have to stay up too late to trigger.

Seems like a good sign to me pip, aren't pets meant to be able to sense these things?

How are you doing smidge? When is your OTD?

bushy your dh's family sounds like fun! We also spent the weekend with the pil's due to it being mil's birthday. Glad to be home.

So we had one good quality blast transferred back today. The transfer went much better than last time (you might remember my 20 plus minute and 3 catheter ordeal from the summer). I asked if I could have two but they strongly advised against it as said it would have no difference in pg. chance (50%!) but just make twins much more likely. So we still have another 4 which are progressing slightly slower and they will call tomorrow to let us know if they can freeze any, fingers crossed.

So get those implantation dances going! OTD on the 21st. Off to see my acu lady now and nibble on some Brazil nuts Wink

sparechange · 10/11/2014 14:58

Go Lumen! Sending sticky vibes your way!

Pixie001 · 10/11/2014 17:07

Pupo lumen! So pleased to hear it was a better experience than the summer...that sounds horrendous!
Bushy I have terrible in laws. We only see them once a year, if that! DH is so different from them that it's unbelievable they're related really!
Jellie hope you can get rid of that cough soon. Plenty of lemon and honey for you.
Pip absolutely a sign! Did you get Mr Pip to sit through homes under hammer? Love that programme.
Trill sounds like you're doing great! Have you had a call?
Smidge how you getting on? I hear others. say those pains may be implantation but don't want to get your hopes up. Have you had more bleeding? Lots of hand holding for you. Stay positive.
...I'm off to join in with the other berries with the pom poms and crazy dancing and pelvic exercises (wonder if there's any I can do whilst sitting at my desk without drawing attention to myself).

Trillium73 · 10/11/2014 17:12

Great news lumen so excited for you, fingers crossed x how was acupuncture? I trigger tonight at 10.30, not too bad, I was having to stay up till 11 to sniff the past few nights anyway (which is waaaayy past my usual bedtime!).

Sorry you're not feeling better jellie, honey and cinnamon is what you need along with your cosy afternoon! EC will be Wednesday morning, I don't know how I'll sleep between now and then! It's my first time pip so probably a bit naive, I just can't help feeling excited Grin

How are you smidge?

Pipbin · 10/11/2014 17:18

Trillium I found it very scary doing the trigger. Such responsibility to get it right.
EC is ok, it's the not being able to eat before that I found the problem! It does hurt a bit, but only a bit. It doesn't take that long. And while you are having that done DH is shown into a room with some 'special interest' magazines. Hardly fair!
I found that I was fine until I had been home for a couple of hours, then I slept it off.

lumen · 10/11/2014 18:30

Thanks all, acupuncture was great, feeling very positive at the moment.

Enjoy your drugs free day tomorrow trill, it is right for you to be excited, hopefully you will only be doing all this node and EC is another big step on the journey.

Gillster · 10/11/2014 20:13

Time for an update Berries:

Smidge - PUPO, OTD 14th Nov?
Pip - PUPO, OTD 17th Nov
Lumen - PUPO, OTD 21st Nov
Trill - EC 12th Nov
Spare - awaiting FET w/c 10th Nov
Pixie - 14 days of DR done, stimming yet?
Gillster - day 7 of DR (FET ~2nd week Dec)
Kuma - due to start short protocol end of Nov

Let's do this ladies!

Gillster · 10/11/2014 20:16

DR is going fine so far Beaky thanks. No real side effects that I can tell.

Pixie where are you up to with treatment? Not sure I've updated you properly in the latest summary above.

lumen · 10/11/2014 20:16

Good call gill, hope down regging is going ok?

Bring on a mass clusterdiff ShockShockShock

Pipbin · 10/11/2014 20:20

There are three of us who could declare a diff within days of each other.

beakybeak · 10/11/2014 20:20

Yey PUPO Lumen! Fx for you!

Trill great news on the follies progression! When's EC? Do you know yet?

Tiger that recipe sounds lovely. I've made a green strawberry smoothie for tomorrow and that's my goal for everyday this week. Extra vits!

Bushy when are you are poas?! I think everyone has in-law issues too so don't worry! It's just a scale of how tolerable they are!

I've been reading my IVF pack ahead of the group session tomorrow and I was outlining the procedure to dh. I told him that when they put the eggs and sperm together they dimmed the lights and played Barry White to them. I almost managed to convince him it was true! Had my smear this morning too, it was a doddle compared to constant dildocams! The nurse even said i bet you're used to this now Blush anyway hopefully everything will be fine with the results.

lumen · 10/11/2014 20:41

Love the Barry White image beaky!

tigerdog · 10/11/2014 20:52

Bring on the cluster diff! Exciting times....

Congratulations on being PUPO lumen love the positivity!

I've got to go for my smear too beaky but you're right, must be a doodle after all the other prodding and poking!

bushy I have similar issues with my own family. As much as I love them, we're so different, and sometimes I find it very hard work indeed to spend time with them.

Can I ask a question of all you knowledgable IVF berries? For those that did injected with Burselin (sp?) from day 21 of their cycle, how long did it take to downreg? My IVF planner says 2-3 weeks, but I'm trying to estimate the likely dates of scans/procedures during IVF so that I can plan a week off at the critical bit, and wanted to know what the norm is.

Trillium73 · 10/11/2014 20:57

Lol beaky! EC is Wednesday morning Smile

Gillster · 10/11/2014 21:15

Hi Tiger, I started DR on day 23 (based on my 32 day cycle). I have a baseline scan (to check I am down regged enough) which will likely be CD2/3. Last time my cycle lengthened to 35 days when DR which is common I think, so maybe add a couple of days when you expect AF. AF needs to have started before they do the baseline scan. I think you would start stimming about CD2/3 but I haven't done long protocol do not sure after that.
