The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

The roll of honour:

nolly, 32, TTC since Sep 2012, unexplained. 6 months clomid did sod all, next appointment 29th Oct, hoping to start private round ivd soon.

Tigerdog 34, ttc 21 months. Unexplained after all tests and currently on waiting list for IVF.
Beaky 34 ttc since aug 2012. Unexplained with recurring cysts and adenomyosis. 1 failed IUI, IVF appointment in November and hoping to start first cycle in January.
Bushy 36, ttc since dec 2011, low amh, ovarian reserve, dh sperm had low count & motility but improved to 'normal' standard, IVF/Icsi in May bfp, then later missed miscarriage at 12 week scan. 2nd Ivf imminent but not sure if dates will work over Christmas.
HampshireBlues 36 TTC since August 2011, unexplained. 1st cycle of IVF chemical. Had a break over the summer. Cycle 2 planned for November
WildflowerMarmalade , 40, TTC 3 years, unexplained, underactive thyroid + immune issues. Sept IUI - BFN. Due to start IVF in Jan

Ooh, if your DH is pregnant Pip then that makes four for the clusterdiff!

Tiger I think Ganesha should definitely feature in the new thread as she's had such a powerful effect on this one.

Sorry for all the Berries with a cold. It's that time of year, isn't it. Still Christmas hols soon.

My soup was very easy to make Beaky - it is Miso paste, stock, chilli paste, sesame oil, soy sauce + prawns, pak choi, spring onion, anything else you fancy. Just boil up the stock then add the other stuff. Leave the Miso to near the end as apparently it shouldn't boil. Ta-da.

Welcome Minx (cool name by the way) - I'll make a newcomers guide to acronyms a priority on the new thread, that way you can get up to speed asap. Smile

And Rain camping in January? The camping season is March to October, DH knows that he has to go on his own outside of those core months. A Christmas just the two of you sounds divine, slightly jealous.

Wild can you send me some of that soup? sounds like just what I need for this poxy cold. have written up unable to breath with a massive headache and hacking cough. As tiger said, just peachy!
tiger I hope you're feeling better this morning. The witch has impeccable timing doesn't she?

Xmas just us two will be great really - prosecco for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! Grin Grin

happy I vote for Ganesha in the title too, then I'm going to steer clear of posting until the the new thread is ready Blush

my updated stats are: Tigerdog 34, ttc since January 2013. Unexplained after all tests have come back normal. Planning on starting long protocol IVF in March/April.

rain still feeling like pants and af not helping. Sorry to hear you are also suffering. Reckon if I don't feel better tomorrow then I will have to take a day to recuperate even though I'm on holiday for a week after Friday I think I need a day snuggled up with the pooch, watching Christmas films!

Not sure about the new thread title, Ganesha and lucky cats may like to feature.

My updated stats:

Gillster, 40, TTC since Feb 2012. Had IVF in Feb 14 and had 6 one cell embies frozen due to polyp. Cancelled FET cycles in Sept 14 and Dec 14 due to more polyps. Awaiting hysteroscopy before commencing natural cycle FET. Hoping to be at least PUPO on the 4th attempt!

Aww, thanks Tiger and Gill. I've been bribing my cat with cat biscuits to sit on my knee in a vain attempt to predict pregnancy. It hasn't worked yet but I live in hope! So I vote for cats in the new title.

I've just completed 3 cycles of ovulation induction with Gonal-f (that wasn't much fun) - it all worked perfectly and I ovulated beautifully but, alas, no diffedness for me. I'm now having a natural cycle (the first in over two years thanks to my marathon 13 cycles on Clomid), I've been scanned throughout and it seems that I ovulated on my own for the first time ever. The consultant thinks the Gonal-f may have 'kick-started' something. Unfortunately, DH didn't manage to, um, 'finish' the job during my fertile time due to Xmas party related alcohol consumption. I was slightly miffed major under-exaggeration. AF due at the weekend and I've not abstained from wine in this tww in silent protest! I've exhausted all of the treatment available to us so it's the countdown to IVF now. We were put onto the year long waiting list in June so we should be starting that in May assuming no FUFC. In the meantime, I've started seeing a herbalist and will be re-starting acu soon to see if we can get my body to ovulate on its own for the next few months.

My stats: Otters 32, ttc since March 2012, no natural ovulation. Clomid cycle 5 BFP, then missed miscarriage. Clomid cycle 9 BFP, then miscarriage. Clomid 10-13 BFN. Gonal-f Cycles 1-3 BFN. IVF waiting list, hoping to start May 2015.

Sorry for the mammoth post all about me, takes a while to write it all down now which is a bit depressing.

Hope all the sick Berries feel better soon, I've managed to avoid the bugs this year but I'm just waiting for them to hit as soon as I finish up for the Xmas/NY break on Friday.

I'm also trying to fight off winter bugs and have been on precautionary Lemsip this morning. Hope the sick berries feel better soon.

Im not feeling very Christmassy but had my annual carol service cry over the choir boys . For some reason little singing boys makes me really Sad. That and the pregnant virgins and barren women... Blush

For the stats:
Kuma - 40. TTC 2 years. Low AMH high FSH - DH antisperm ABs. Failed IVF June 14 and two cancelled IVFs Nov and Dec 14 due to poor blood results. Hoping for another try at natural cycle IVF end of Jan 15.

Hi ladies, another lurker looking to join in.

I'm 39, been trying for just over 2 years, had a BFP November 2013 but miscarriage in January this year. Spent most of this year comfort eating and feeling sorry for myself. My mother will NOT stop going on about people she knows who are either pregnant, pregnant when they are over 40 or have children who have got pregnant when they are 40+. (We haven't told her about TTC or the miscarriage all I've told her is that we would like children someday). Feeling like I'm letting everyone down with my failure to conceive, DH (who is a bit younger than me) , my parents, his parents, the world, and myself. Hoping next year brings better things, finding Xmas particularly difficult this year after being secretly pregnant last Xmas. Fortunately (unfortunately?) I have a small family (DH will be the youngest at our family Xmas) so at least I don't have to contend with that.

Hello Tammy and welcome!

Argh rapidly running out of room on this thread and I'm just going to get my hair done. What about something like "Grab your Ganeshas and collect up your cats: The Elderberry Pavlovas and the quest for the New Year clusterdiff (thread 25). "?
Nobody post on the new thread til I get chance to sort out the list - it won't be good for my OCD if the thread starts messily!!
