Pipbin · 11/11/2014 23:26

Just looked in the bathroom cupboard and all my tests are at least a year out of date.

How is it going for you Smidge? How is the spotting?

I'm feeling really rather odd here but I'm putting that down to the gestone.

If we are going for shameless fur baby pictures .........
The vet said she is fat so we have reduced her food. She is pissed off.

Sending all of you Pupo and cycling strong Berrie vibes from the sidelines! I'm shaking those pom-poms, ladies! Will be keeping a close eye on the thread! x

FeatherFeather11 · 12/11/2014 08:11

Ps. As hard as it may be smidge, stay positive. There is ALWAYS hope and anything is possible in this ttc game. Flowers

Gillster · 12/11/2014 08:23

Good luck Trill for EC today.

Pip - we need to keep the cat happy.

Smidge it ain't over until the fat witch/lady sings.

tigerdog · 12/11/2014 08:45

Hang in there smidge!

Good luck today trill

Sorry for the delay to your cycle pixie it's such a nightmare to plan. I don't really want to tell my new job so will need to take time off at preplanned points and not sure how I'll manage it.

Beaky our FC only allows one as well.

Hope everyone has a happy Wednesday. Am trying to keep cheerful despite the rain and a huge traffic jam making me late for work!

sparechange · 12/11/2014 09:19

Bloods yesterday showed high LH and therefore tjat I should OV today or tomorrow. Still not a hint of a positive OPK with either Boots or Internet cheapies, so I am clearly a scientific enigma! Dildocam in a couple of hours and then hopefully they can start the defrost. hopefully not with the outrageously handsome doctor.

Still keeping everything crossed for you smidge. Hang in there and wave those pom-poms hard...

trill Good luck today. Make sure you have a snack for after you are recovered! I woke up starving after being nil by mouth all day and had to send DH to buy crisps...

sparechange · 12/11/2014 09:22

tiger Can you have another medical condition that requires regular appointments? I had a 'bad back' that required x-Rays, MRIs, doctor appointments and eventually a steroid injection under sedation.
I don't think anyone at work has twigged..!
Maybe a knee problem would be a good cover story?

Trillium73 · 12/11/2014 09:33

We've just arrived at the hospital, 30 min early so chilling in the car. Thanks for all the good wishes, helps me to keep the positive vibe going x :-)

WildflowerMarmalade · 12/11/2014 09:50

Ooh good luck Trill let's hope they get a fair few good ones for you.

Tiger I like spares's ideas of a "bad back with complications" or other ongoing medical problem. The only thing is, as you work in the NHS wil there be lots of people who are too knowledgeable to be easily fooled?

Loving the kitty photos. Such cuties.

Pipbin · 12/11/2014 10:02

Good luck Trill, thinking of you.

beakybeak · 12/11/2014 10:50

Good luck, Trill fx for you.

Smidge I was really surprised about the day 2/3 latest transfer. I'm going to ask in my private consultation as by day 5 you surely would know which are stronger to transfer back in. But overall I do rate my FC so would go with what they say anyway. Hope you're feeling ok today, I'm still pompoming and cheering for you all.

Love the kitty pics Bushy and Pip! Miss my fur baby tons but I love seeing other peoples. I nearly walked over to a puppy on the train to pet it the other day

Pip how do you mean odd? Physically? Hoping it's a good sign for you!

Tiger my most recent iui has been done completely under the guise of cysts which were to be removed - couple of scans and a procedure. People don't tent to want to ask about it although my assistant wanted chapter and verse on the "symptoms" Hmm

how are you and how far along are you now? Hope the other chopper berries are doing well

Spare the opks sound useless for you, but great news that you should be at et soon. I'd be mortified if my dr was good looking!

Pipbin · 12/11/2014 11:13

Beaky you should talk to random puppies and their owners. My good friend is a dog nut and will talk to anyone like they are a best mate all the time. We can't go anywhere without her stopping and talking to a dog and their owner. And all owners have been happy to talk about their dogs to random people.

And by feeling odd......... You now when you feel anxious about something and you get a nervous feeling in you chest? Well it's like that, but in my tummy. But I don't know if it's the medication I'm on, general nerves or the fact that I've gone from a job where I'm on my feet all day to sitting on my arse.

sparechange · 12/11/2014 13:49

Luckily no Dr Handsome today but follicle is ready to pop so they've given me a trigger shot for this evening, and will start defrosting 3 embies today, ready to pop one back on Friday. If any leftovers are good enough, they'll take them to day 5 and re freeze them.
So hopefully PUPO for the weekend.

Trill, any more news?

Trillium73 · 12/11/2014 14:37

Eight eggs! So pleased! Hopefully they're getting it on on with the swimmers in the petrie dish :-). surprised at how how sore I am! I've had 2 laps and a d & c and don't remember being this sore before. Nearly home now, looking forward to snuggling on the sofa. Thanks again for all the good wishes, you ladies are awesome!

Pipbin · 12/11/2014 14:39

Good haul Trill
Make sure you are waited on hand and foot this afternoon.

Pixie001 · 12/11/2014 14:51

Yay spare and great crop trill!

Good day all round as I've spoken with FC and seems like there was misunderstanding as to when the withdrawal bleed started. For some reason they thought it was Mon and that therefore they didn't want to start stimming if I was still shedding lining. Which is understandable. But given it started Fri morn they're ok. So finally all go tonight! Yay! Grin a little bit terrified excited.

sparechange · 12/11/2014 15:50

Yay Trill! Hope they like Barry White and mood lighting...
Take it very easy today. Did the clinic tell you to eat extra protein? That is a free ticket for as much steak/cheese and biscuits/milkshake as you want Grin

lumen · 12/11/2014 16:22

Great news all, lovely to have positive news. Take care trill. Hope everyone else's forgotten who in last 2mins since being on page jabs go well and that embryos are being created/defrosted, exciting times.

Hi to feather, glad to know you are still checking in on us (I have been stalking the chopper to see you all are getting on!)

lumen · 12/11/2014 17:47

Thought I would check out the cat pics from my computer as usually on my phone, lovely puddycats! Here is one of mine, live him so much, he is sleeping next to me on the sofa at the moment (also not a lap catSad).

Roll up! Roll up! Mount those uni cycles and shake those pom poms. The Elderberry Pavlovas are drumming away in the hope of a Christmas clusterdiff (Thread 24).
lumen · 12/11/2014 17:48

Obviously love him, not live him!

Trillium73 · 12/11/2014 18:40

The kitty pics are lovely! My boy is snuggled up next to me on the sofa just now. I'd post a picture if I could figure out how to do it! lumen your puss looks like the brother of my boy Grin

beakybeak · 12/11/2014 19:18

Yey Spare Trill and Pixie! Great news for all of you. Hope everything goes well and will be doing the fertilisation pom-poms for Trill tonight!

Lumen how are you feeling?

Pip hope that feeling is a good sign for you.

Smidge are you poas tomorrow? Or is it tonight - you're in oz right? All the luck in the world to you if you do, I'm crossing everything x

tigerdog · 12/11/2014 20:00

Excellent developments for trill, pixie and spare!

smidge keeping everything tightly crossed for you.

How are you wild?

Hope all is going well lumen and pip.

I think any sort of supposed health complication would be too tricky to pull off given where I work! I am either going to have to come clean, or take annual leave. The problem is also the distance that work is from home meaning I can't go to appointments before or after work without missing at least half a day. Hmmm going to have to figure this one out.

Aw, it must be hard missing your puppy beaky Flowers but you should definitely go and fuss someone else's puppy. I am always so proud of my girl when someone comes over to tell me that she is beautiful, or wants to stroke her head (she has the softest head ever!)

tigerdog · 12/11/2014 20:03

And in the interests of pet equality, here is my not so little (and rather cat-like) wannabe lap dog.
