Smidge hugs to you. You never know so keep your chin up. So many people have exactly the same symptoms regardless. Pom-poms out in force for you today.

Trill sounding good with the follies there will be willing them on this weekend for Monday.

HB that's so late! What does he do - if you can say?

Jelliebabe2 · 08/11/2014 10:03

Trillium - don't worry I'm with you on the Xmas shopping! I like to leave Xmas all in December though. Just too much otherwise! Your follies sound in good shape! You've just as much chance as anyone I think!

HB 11pm!!! (((Faints))) what on earth does he do! I hope its not like that all the time!

Smidge - how many days past collection are you? My clinic tests 14 days after collection and on my first go I tested pos on day 13.

I'm supposed to be taking my Mum out to look at fireplaces today then over for friends for dinner. Coughing badly though this morning... I reeeeaaaaaly don't want to cancel. My mums been looking forward to this and my friends will have gone to trouble... Hot bath, then cough mix then reassess...

Cough bark splutter cough cough

Trillium73 · 08/11/2014 10:11

Any news on the embies lumen?

Pipbin · 08/11/2014 10:28

HB. That is very late. I only hope that this meeting was literally life saving for someone.

Smidge when I chat to Ganesha later I'll ask him to look after you too.

lumen · 08/11/2014 10:30

Just heard that 6 of them are doing ok so I am in at lunchtime on Monday hopefully for a blast transfer. So proud of my little embies! Hopefully all those pills I have been popping have done their job Grin

Happy weekend berries. Am off to the in-laws for fireworks and a birthday celebration.

Pipbin · 08/11/2014 10:33

Yay Lumen.
Right, Ganesha and I are going to have a chat about all the berries today I think.

Trillium73 · 08/11/2014 10:45

Awesome newslumen! Proud of your little embies too Grin!

WildflowerMarmalade · 08/11/2014 10:53

Great news lumen! Pill popping works then, hey?

I love the idea of pipbin and ganesha having a chat about the Berries. I think the goddess will see that we are all most deserving.

Smidge it must be so hard with the pink tinge etc. You can't be sure what it is, so keep the faith. The waiting is such a head scramble isn't it. Thanks

And trill, that sounds like an excellent sprouting of follicles. Keep it up.

IamKuma · 08/11/2014 11:31

I've found you all, haven't caught up on the end of the old thread though - sorry. I took a bit of time away from the thread due to 40th birthday gloom, but I've made it through and don't feel too much more old and decrepit. I see that I've made it onto the IVF list, kind of.... I'll start my natural cycle when AF arrives, which should be about 26th Nov with EC about 9th December, provided all bloods and scans meet NHS requirements.

Other stats: Kuma , 40, ttc 2 years, high FSH, very low AMH, low ovarian reserve - 3 follicles this time last year so hoping there is still at least 1 left - DH antisperm antibodies; failed short protocol IVF June 2014, NHS natural cycle should start end Nov 2014.

Spare I didn't realise the FET was coming up so soon, good luck.

Pixie I had a slightly different but embarrassing email situation like that recently; I was hosting a meeting in our conference room on a large conferencing screen using a VPN into my PC and a colleague of mine sent an e mail to me which popped up slagging off the son of one of the guys in the meeting - obvs not my fault but still really cringey as I desperately tried to close the pop up!

lumen good luck on Monday, and fingers crossed for some good blasts

Trill hello, we haven't met! Electrode acu sounds a bit freaky, my acu tried to do a myofascial release on me, still not quite sure what that is, but it felt like she was trying to put the needle in parallel to the skin, if that makes sense?. It was painful so I asked her to stop in the end, but wonder if her telling me it was something different to what she normally does put me on edge. If anybody knows what it involves do let me know; my Google searching has been inconclusive!

Happy Saturday to everybody else!

Pipbin · 08/11/2014 11:34

Ganesha, the cat and myself have all had a chat about the berries. Heck if science can't help us then I'm sure a black cat and a chap with 4 arms and an elephant head can.

Roll up! Roll up! Mount those uni cycles and shake those pom poms. The Elderberry Pavlovas are drumming away in the hope of a Christmas clusterdiff (Thread 24).
Trillium73 · 08/11/2014 11:51

Lol! Love it pipbin Grin

Hello kuma nice to meet you! I think the electrodes are similar to a TENS machine. I googled myofascial release and there's a wikipedia article on it. If my lady gets the right place it's painful for me too. Lots of deep breathing required!

happylass · 08/11/2014 11:59

Arrrrgh Berries I am convinced that AF is on her way as I am absolutely evil today. I'm sure DH is purposely trying to piss me off too AngryAngryAngry. That is all Angry

Gaah just wrote a long post and then lost it!

Tight squeeze smidge and keeping everything crossed for you.

Happy to put my faith in black cats and deities pip will try anything

Good work lumen and well done little embies! I'm sure you've made the perfect preparations to welcome them on board. One or two?

Hi kuma are you just waiting for the start of your next cycle to kick off? I get birthday gloom every year regardless of the number, have never really liked the fuss!

Blimey, Christmas shopping?! I'm impressed hb it's too wet to go shopping here today.

Keep up the positivity trill!

jellie hope you feel better and manage to enjoy your day.

My catching rainbows plan was similar. She kept saying all the way through that given my history she really believed I could get pg without any intervention. Very uplifting but it ain't happening...

I'm feeling grouchy. Dh has gone off to watch football, which is fine, but has also annoyed me as he chopped and changed his plans without really telling me what he was doing! This weather also sucks and have abandoned my planned shopping trip as oh has taken the car. Anyway, I reckon the first step in cheering up is baking a cake. Coconut Victoria Sponge filled with homemade strawberry and gooseberry jam! Smile Cake

tigerdog · 08/11/2014 12:10

Haha happy I'm with you on the Angry and dh rage! Am mid cycle so can't even blame af! Deep breaths and Cake

Gillster · 08/11/2014 12:19

Well done Lumen on your excellent embies- you must be so proud.

Try not to lose hope Smidge, your embie could be just snuggling in.

Hey Kuma - nice to see you and you're only the 4th oldest here now. Practically a spring chicken!

Sorry you're having a tough time Happy try not to be too sad though, it's the weekend.

Love the picture Pip!

greatbigbushybeard · 08/11/2014 22:31

Hola berries, fancy seeing you here!! Lol at the switch over fail, the kinda thing I'd do tiger!! Talking of whom, how did the cake work out? Was wondering about the tiger's milk again. Was it just warm milk with cinnamon and nutmeg? Or have I got wrong?

Love, love, berry kitty and Ganesha. What a beauty pip.

Crikey hb I'd be annoyed at dh's working late. That's really late!

Lol at witch pads trill the acu with electricals sounds a bit full on!!

lumen that's great news.

Smidge I've had dreams like that too, always a relief to wake up and realise it's fine. Hope everything is going well, hope the pink stays away.

I think af may be on way but part of me thinks it could be t'other, it's a bit of a head fuck. I've had weird twingey full feelings and sore boobs this cycle but now feeling bit twingey and er gassy. Nothing much else to report. Know I'll be disappointed if nothing but if af is here I can ring to start next af. Scary either way!! The waiting is a bugger isn't it.

Rainy day here today so I've made scones-nom nom!! Also had a bit of a tidy up, mammoth shredding sesh.

tigerdog · 09/11/2014 00:04

Ah bushy there you are. Phew. Yep total posting fail!

Well, my FC consultant said that 70% of women who get pg through ivf go on to conceive naturally. Not validated that stat but stranger things have happened! Wink When is af due?

Cake turned out well, gluten free baking is still a bit hit or miss I find. Hot milk with cinnamon nutmeg and vanilla is what I have sometimes sneaks in a half teaspoon of sugar

Tired but awake, time to put the phone down! Night

sparechange · 09/11/2014 08:28

Tiger, I have seen a similar stat but specifically for couples who have unexplained. Isn't that what happened with Jamie Oliver and his wife? Maybe the pipes just need a clear out?!

Off for dildocam this morning. Smashing way to start a Sunday morning! Negative OPK earlier but after last month's missed OV, I don't put much faith in those bloody things.

Happy Sunday, berries. Hope you are having good ones!

Smidge001 · 09/11/2014 09:36

Thanks for the hand holding berries. I've been googling pink tinged crinone gel remnants (or words to that effect!) all day and trying to convince myself that the number of people who get this means it indicates nothing... But coupled with the pre-AF belly ache all day yesterday I think I'm setting myself up for a fall. I'm checking boobs for any sign of fullness (not a chance) and just dabbing myself dry when I go to the loo so as not to see any pink on the paper!!! Clearly none of this will make a difference - I either am or am not.

Right. Time for another dose of Clexane. Struggled to find a spot that didn't hurt yesterday - seems my right side is less sensitive than the left so I am definitely favouring that. Luckily not hit a capillary yet .

Glad kuma and bushy have found us.

wild I agree with your head-scramble phrase. (And enjoyed hearing about the FA cup commentary, I miss that out here)

tigerdog · 09/11/2014 11:45

spare yes you are right, it's for those that are unexplained. It was followed by a lecture on stress from the consultant Hmm. Good luck with the dildocam!

Continuing to handhold smidge and waving those pom poms!

Yoga and dog walk, breakfast and ordered a new pair of spotty wellies for winter dog walking (25% off at Joules FYI). Just trying to get motivated to re-hang some doors and do a spot of cleaning now...

greatbigbushybeard · 09/11/2014 20:34

Wowee tiger sounds a busy day!

I've got lots of planning done today- we're away in manchester this w/e so have to double up this w/e and do 2 weeks worth. We also went out for lunch for dh's mum's b'day. Dh's mum &dad are lovely but some of his family are just hard work. I find these things a bit cringey. I think we've got very different backgrounds, his family aren't really that talkative and some of them are a bit funny e.g. We split the bill and his uncle said he wasn't for that and was paying his £9.50 and that was it. ( although I get the fact that he doesn't have that much money and it is annoying if you've laid for your drink at the bar & then gave to pay for other people's.) one mad auntie is cackling away, they're all blowing raspberries or whistling at sil's baby, getting out their mobile phones and taking photos, showing each other photos. Sil's bloke or to be fair SIL doesn't even say hello to me... He's a strange one, keeps going off sick at work and doesn't drive since being done for drink driving. I just feel it's all too much effort and we're v different. The table isn't big enough for the whole party ( dh has a lot of family) so me and dh volunteer to go on a separate table for 2 which is a bit of a relief as we don't have to sit there and make small talk. We then keep being shown baby photos on people's phones. Dh said why do people keep showing me baby photos! I just sometimes it'll bother you more than others. Dh then started talking about my mum's 70th which was an afternoon tea which dh's parents were invited too and was it this year and that it was a strange place ( it wasn't, it was a lovely, little quaint place and really sweet). I thought I was going to cry in the restaurant as I remember we'd had the early scan that proved everything was ok before the later mmc and it was my mum's birthday that we'd found out. I just remember feeling really happy and positive then. Sad Anyway I got past that and we did go back for a cuppa, which was really nice. Dh's lovely 90 yr old nan was coming out with some corkers. Just families are weird!!

Stomach still got cramps but nothing on panty liner. Think it's just a matter of time. Have already come up with commiseration that I can drink lots in manchester!!

As it's nearly af time dtd has dropped off the register. Not really felt like it but dh complaining!!

Right sorry for my whinge, hope I don't come off as snobby.

Jelliebabe2 · 09/11/2014 20:59

Hey Bushy, no not snobby at all! Other people's folks are all weird. Sounds really full on and wearing. At least you sat a bit away from them for the most part.

This cough is getting me down! I'm worn out with it. I stopped in bed till 3 today napping but just feel worn out. Also coughing so hard am having to wear a pad! I'm only just 40, didn't envisage pissing myself just yet! I cant even blame children Shock.

greatbigbushybeard · 09/11/2014 21:38

Jellie - check this out gussetgrippers.weebly.com/what-are-the-exercises.html sort those muscles out!! I think dh knows it too re his family but I don't like to go on about how cringe they are, rather let him say it as although you might think it, they're still family. I should just get on with it!

Jelliebabe2 · 09/11/2014 22:49

Thanks Bushy! I know I should do pelvic exercise but always forget about it. Blush
