Morning Berries

beaky a Christmas market sounds lovely, enjoy! Sorry about your spotting, hope it goes away. Thanks for the pompom shaking!

jellie (always gets changed to Nellie lol!) Yay for a donor! Hope it all goes smoothly.

pixie good luck with your trigger tonight and for EC on Monday. Have they called with a time yet?

Thinking of you lumen

I'm thinking of saving my EMU on test day and just waiting til I get home to actually do the test. What do you berries think?

nolly3 · 22/11/2014 11:36

lumen Sad so sorry, it's really unfair

sparechange · 22/11/2014 12:34

So much fab news today Smile
pixie How are you feeling? Good luck with the trigger.

I think I'm out again. Woke up this morning with the unmistakable dull ache and weird pinching nerve in my groin that only ever means one thing. Don't think I'll be needing to test come Thursday Sad

Pipbin · 22/11/2014 12:59

Will it work if it sits there all day Trill?
I am seriously thinking of getting some internet cheapies so I can continue my daily testing habit.

CatsCantFlyFast · 22/11/2014 14:23

It'll work if it sits there all day

Pip I carried on testing for ages! Think it's quite common BUT remember lines get darker and lighter randomly so don't worry if it seems lighter

Pipbin · 22/11/2014 14:36

Well I've only got two tests left and they are a year out of date so I might as well use them.

beakybeak · 22/11/2014 16:43

Spare I'm sure one of the other berries thought that but wasn't, don't loose hope!

Warning for tmi berries, but the spotting has turned much more like AF in that's is quite heavy and dark brownie/red. I'd only be about 8dpo (we didn't try this month) so I have no idea what's going on Sad so confusing!

Trillium73 · 22/11/2014 16:50

pip I say test away! I'd love to see a positive test! I've only ever bought internet cheapies. I've got a different one from the clinic to try this time.

Aww spare I hope you're not out! I've felt like I'm going to get AF since I had EC. Cramps aren't always a bad sign, the progesterone also gives you abdominal cramps. Hang in there!

Pipbin · 22/11/2014 17:02

The problem is Trill getting them delivered. DH is bound to ask what they are and I wouldn't want to admit POAS every day!

Pixie001 · 22/11/2014 17:56

Spare I do hope they're not af cramps. Smidge was right with hers but don't give up hope yet. You're still pupo.
Pip sounds to me like you're a ok as addict but don't blame you and I'm sure Mr Pip wouldn't either?
Beaky I have randomly had a couple of short cycles myself, sometimes after a long cycle where I obsessed over af turning up. Try not to worry but definitely worth mentioning it Wed. How was the christmas market?
I'm all booked in for EC Mon morning. Had lovely bunch of flowers delivered this morning from Mr P. I cried.

Jelliebabe2 · 22/11/2014 19:39

Buggerration my post didn't post! Will do again tomoz... Night all!

Jelliebabe2 · 22/11/2014 19:40

Pixie! Brownie points for dh! Cuuuuuute

tigerdog · 22/11/2014 20:25

spare I think symptoms can mean anything at this stage but fingers crossed it isn't af. trill also fingers crossed for you. The wait must feel so long, there's just no escape from your body either so it's impossible to switch off from it all.

Hope you had a lovely day with your friends at the Christmas market beaky!

jellie that is all very exciting!

Aw pixie that's very lovely of Mr P! Good luck with the trigger shot!

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

Quiet day in the tiger household but quite a few jobs done around the house. Having a couple of quiet weekends, avoiding
booze and not spending any money in preparation for a busy and sociable December!

Trillium73 · 22/11/2014 20:47

Awww pixie sweet of your hubby to send you flowers Flowers

How you feeling now spare?

Jelliebabe2 · 22/11/2014 20:49

Gawd. Think I've hit the new low with this cough then something else happens that makes me revise that statement.... BlushConfusedEnvyBlushConfusedEnvy

Trillium73 · 22/11/2014 20:55

Oh no jellie! What's happened?Hmm

Pipbin · 22/11/2014 21:21

Was it as a result of the cough Jellie?

Pixie001 · 22/11/2014 22:31

Jellie! ...what's going on? You ok?

WildflowerMarmalade · 22/11/2014 23:03

Hope you are ok Jellie. More Kegel's perhaps? Thanks

Trillium the pee will keep for testing, you can keep it in the fridge to slow down the degrading of the relevant hormones. But it needs to be at room temperature again when you dip the stick. I was thinking of doing this one time, fir the same reason as you, but then didn't and just waited an extra day.

WildflowerMarmalade · 22/11/2014 23:06

Oh, and, Spare twinges can be anything at this point, as Tiger says. Hang on in there.

lumen · 23/11/2014 09:08

Hope you are doing ok spare and trill, thinking of you both.

Best of luck tomorrow pixie, let us know how you get on (and your dh sounds like a keeper!)

pip order the internet cheapies then when they are delivered tell your dh they are something for him for Christmas.

Hi to all the other berries. I'm doing ok thanks. Had a good cry on Friday morning but now AF has turned up so I feel this episode is almost over and I can move on. We have a review meeting at the FC in two weeks so will see what they say. Am also going to try and get an appointment back at the fertility doctor who referred us for IVF, I only had bloods and a scan done before being put forward for my first cycle as I was so close to the age cutoff for nhs funding, I want to know if there is anything else they can do on the nhs to help investigate our 'unexplained infertility'. I will let you know how I get on with both of those things. Other than that we have decided to forget about all things ttc, to enjoy Christmas then get ourselves fit and healthy and give my body a chance to recover from all the treatment this year. If we end up doing another IVF cycle I am going to look at taking a months unpaid leave so I can give it my all and not be stressed out by work.

Finished one if my quilts yesterday tiger, have almost finished the second and just about to get up and do the third. Am now seeing my parents next week and am going to exchange Christmas gifts so have a deadline!

Happy Sunday berries x

Pipbin · 23/11/2014 09:15

Spare, Tril do we really have to wait until the 27th for you two to test? That's ages.
Pixie good luck for tomorrow. Please ask any questions.

Lumen. Well done for taking some time off from ttcing. I did the same after cycle 2. I just walked away from all of it for about 3 months. It can be so all consuming.
What tests have you had so far? Do you get anymore NHS cycles?

sparechange · 23/11/2014 09:19

lumen You are so brave and pragmatic about things. Like the sound of your Christmas plan.

pixie Good luck tomorrow! Hope you aren't feeling too uncomfortable!
Pip the Internet cheapies from ebay come in plain packaging - I got mine delivered to work and didn't want any clue as to what was inside!

trill Have you decided what to do about testing? Testing berry experts, is there any point at all in testing at a different point in the day? Like afternoon if you hold off on toilet trips for a few hours? Or does it definitely need to be morning?
Hello everyone else
Hope you are having nice weekends

Pipbin · 23/11/2014 09:27

Problem is that I work with DH and he'll see them! Might just get some and lie. He is very very lovely but I think he would worry if he thought I was testing every day.

Jelliebabe2 · 23/11/2014 09:30

Hey! Sorry if I worried you, was feeling super sorry for myself. Had just coughed until I was sick... Twice.... lovely. Going to try and get back to the doctor tomorrow.

Pixie, the physical process of donor abroad is exactly the same, just have to get my lining ready, but no the law is different. The child is not able to get any information (neither are we) apart from a few facts that we already know. We can be told their age after a pregnancy I think. How we are matched, we fill in a form about ourselves, including height weight education levels etc plus photos. We fill in a third column about what we would like for the donor and how strictly we want to stick to those criteria. Then the coordinator offers you a donor and lists height, weight hair and eye colour, education, interests and if they've donated before etc.

This time the donor is a little short, but I really don't want to wait any longer so I'm pretty sure we will accept!

Lumen, glad you're okay hun, it is nice to have a bit of time "off"
