tiger my OTD isn't until next Friday so another week to wait. I will not poas early. I am doing some sewing this weekend too, still trying to finish the lap quilt presents for my grandparents.

Am going with a close friend to her FC tomorrow morning to get her meds to start IVF. Very excited for her as she has immune issues that they have treated first. She is using one of the controversial and expensive clinics in London so I am going to enjoy being nosey.

I think pips OTD is Monday? Are you going to test early pip?

Soooo hope that bushy is leading us in another clusterdiff, fx!

Bunnygirlie · 14/11/2014 11:00

Well the berry signal just found me so I had to pop in to say....

Congrats Bushy everything crossed for a sticky one!!!

Pip thinking if you and everything crossed for you too!!! x

BlindKitty · 14/11/2014 11:02

bushy that's amazing news! Plus it's the best type of BFP!!!

pip period pains mean nowt!

happylass · 14/11/2014 11:08

Bushy you sly dog you!! Probably the first morning ever that I didn't check the thread over breakfast and this is what I miss!!! A massive congratulations. Who's next?

OP posts:
Pipbin · 14/11/2014 11:10

Bunny I'm not going to test early but I think it will be about 4am as I get up then for a wee anyway.

Blind it's not period pains, it's just that 'heavy' feeling.

Bad news from Chez Spare Sad

None of the embies made it through the night. They've defrosted one more this morning and are culturing it now to see if it can be strong enough to put back in, so please wave those pom poms. We'll get a call at midday if it isn't good enough to go back, so on tenterhooks here...

tigerdog · 14/11/2014 12:09

Oh spare, sorry to hear that. Was just sneaking on at work for an updated. fingers crossed for good news.

beakybeak · 14/11/2014 12:09

Oh Spare I am actually crossing my fingers very very tightly for you, I really hope this one makes it. So sorry the others didn't Thanks

Gillster · 14/11/2014 12:12

Come on little embie!

lumen · 14/11/2014 13:28

Willing your embie on spare

sparechange · 14/11/2014 13:29

Thanks lovely berries. At the clinic gowned up and ready to go. Feeling horribly emotional and trying not to think of that little cluster of cells as my baby but it is so hard not to!

Pipbin · 14/11/2014 14:11

Oh Spare. That is awful.
I feel for you. The clinic let us keep the pictures of all our embies. So glad we've got them

beakybeak · 14/11/2014 14:26

Good luck Spare what a stressful day for you Sad

IamKuma · 14/11/2014 14:27

Oh Spare, keeping everything tightly crossed for you.

Bushy, contrasts, that is amazing news.

DH didn't get back before I passed out, could barely open my eyes when he got home. I was hoping to dtd this morning but was bleeding when I woke up, not even just spotting. Not sure if the travel had messed up my hormones, but it's only cd14, so shouldn't be AF. I could do with knowing what's going on as I am doing my natural cycle when AF arrives and don't want to miss the start again after last failed attempt. May try and pop out and call FC and see what they think. If it wasn't the weekend tomorrow I'd just wait and see what happens, but if it is AF then Monday will be too late to start the cycle. Sad.

Pipbin · 14/11/2014 14:31

For Spare

Roll up! Roll up! Mount those uni cycles and shake those pom poms. The Elderberry Pavlovas are drumming away in the hope of a Christmas clusterdiff (Thread 24).
lumen · 14/11/2014 14:47

kuma our bodies can be so annoying sometimes. I had a random 14 day cycle between my two IVF cycles and I am usually always 28 days. Think all the hormones take quite a while to work their way out of our systems. Did you get through to your FC?

sparechange · 14/11/2014 15:16

pip we got this to take home.
thanks for my Ganesha and Magic cat pic. Feeling very sticky right now!

Roll up! Roll up! Mount those uni cycles and shake those pom poms. The Elderberry Pavlovas are drumming away in the hope of a Christmas clusterdiff (Thread 24).
IamKuma · 14/11/2014 15:21

spare - on phone so can't see pictures but I found it nice to have a picture of my little cluster of cells, even though it didn't make it through.

Left a message for FC, hope they phone back....

Trillium73 · 14/11/2014 15:37

Awww spare what rotten luck! So glad you got another one defrosted and onboard Grin what an awesome photo! when is your test day?

My clinic always runs late, that's us just home. One precious embie safely onboard but no photo to post! Test day is the 27th, my best friend's birthday so it must be a sign, right?! Wink start the pessaries in the morning, can't wait!

lumen · 14/11/2014 15:54

Glad it went ok trill and spare, our FC doesn't do photos either, we just got shown a diagram of its progress. Here's hoping we all have sticky little beans

Gillster · 14/11/2014 15:57

Using a racecourse analogy, here's an update after all of today's drama.

Runners and riders as follows:
On the racecourse
Pip - PUPO, OTD 17th Nov
Lumen - PUPO, OTD 21st Nov
Trill - PUPO, OTD 27th Nov
Spare - PUPO, OTD 27th Nov?
Pixie - day 3 stims
Gillster - day 11 DR, awaiting AF before scan on 18th Nov

Still in the parade ground
Kuma - limbering up for short protocol end Nov (hopefully)

FalllersSadSad
Smidge

Current BFP clusterdiff ratio:
1 from 9 (Bushy)

sparechange · 14/11/2014 15:59

yay trill!
My test day is also the 27th - day after DH's birthday…
They said to come in for a blood test, or to wait 2 more days if I want to POAS, but I think I'll just POAS on 27th and hope for the best.
Eeek. Have you got any medication to take now?

lumen · 14/11/2014 16:01

Nicely done gill, come on all fillies, bushy needs us for a clusterdiff (is more than one a clusterdiff or does it need to be three/four/more? Do we have a definition?)

WildflowerMarmalade · 14/11/2014 16:04

Wow! What a day. I can't believe didn't see bushy's news until just now! Shock

I'm thrilled for you Bushy. Huge congratulations to you. That is such a lovely, lucky, beautiful surprise. I don't know whether to march around the room cheering or cry tears of happiness for you. Maybe both.

Your DH on the Bucks Fizz? I'm opening the champagne right now. You can't have any Bushy (sorry, them's the breaks) but everyone else who wants some fizz can roll up and have a glass to toast your amazing BFP.

And two ETs on here today too. Well done spare and trill. Now get those embies snuggled in. Love the picture spare. That's a sweet touch for the clinic to give you that.

Thinking of you Smidge. Look after yourself by doing some nice things just for you, or by sobbing under the covers if needs be. That is a way of looking after yourself too you know.

When will you see AliG? It's so funny how we all just accept that your consultant is called AliG and we all call her that too. Smile Why is that her nickname, by the way? I can't remember if you ever said.

Lumen ooh, I like the sound of your visit to the controversial and expensive clinic. Can I be nosey by proxy through you? What immune treatment has your friend had? Is it intralipids? Steroids? Or something more out there such as Humira?

Trillium73 · 14/11/2014 16:04

Yay poas buddies spare !

My clinic don't do a blood test so just the home test. Nope, no other medication just the lovely pessaries for twelve days.
