I’m so, so sorry to hear your news smidge, I’m impressed that you are so keen to crack on with a FET plan. I hope that all works out for you with the scratch / lining/ trip to the UK etc. I’m not sure I could face a 24 hour flight at a time like that. Long haul really does take it out of the body, I’d be minded to check it out with AliG first.

Trill excellent attitude, shame you didn’t get as many fertilised as you wanted but onward and upward. The debrief before ET is when they get you take off your knickers right? Good luck with that.

I love the cat approved package Pipbin, perhaps I should get my kitty to oversee all of my fertility treatment. She would not take any nonsense, that’s for sure. Here she is.

I tend to the idea that alcohol sort of fights with what the drugs and the body are trying to do spare - so one glass of good quality wine only. That’s my motto! Grin

tigerdog · 13/11/2014 20:19

aw, that's another cute kitty you have there wild. I was always a cat person but I have bocame so allergic to them, 'll never be able to have one again Sad

hope you're doing ok smidge, I am thinking of you Flowers

pip there is such an air of positivity here for you at the moment. Tightly crossing everything. When will you poas?

lumen hope you're doing ok too.

wow, so two more transfers tomorrow, spare and trill it really is all go in here! Good luck to you both.

bushy any news?

Have had two days of spotting now, but very early in my cycle as I'm only on CD23 Hmm so think I'm going to end up having a short cycle this month, which throws out all my date planning. grrr.

greatbigbushybeard · 13/11/2014 22:24

Love all the berry cats and dogs. pip love your full figured cat! she's a beauty, also like her quality control checking of your packaging. lumen what beautiful eyes your cat has! almost hypnotic.

Really sorry it didn't work out this time smidge, it's bloody rubbish. You sound v keen to get back on the train. Like the others said have a chat with alig and see how you go.

trill as one of the other berries have said it only takes one.

spare I'd have a drink but not go crazy.

Af still not here, bit of a weird time as I'm trying not to get hopes up & concentrate on other things but it's still there. Dh said he thought about it all day. Going to manchester tomorrow whoop whoop! Might test tomorrow to check if I can have drinks or not... Aghhhh!!

Pipbin · 13/11/2014 22:44

The cat is keeping me sane.
She isn't appreciating being on a diet.

I can't stand going to the loo now too much stress.

Pipbin · 13/11/2014 22:45

Good luck with your test tomorrow Bushy.
And good luck with tomorrows transfers Spare and Trill.

IamKuma · 13/11/2014 22:47

Sorry for the repeated absence, I've been half way around the world and back for work. Given how knackered I feel now after 14 hours in business class, I'd be reluctant to do a 24 hour trip after FET. Also sorry it didn't work first time Smidge.

Spare, Trill, good luck for tomorrow. I never drink that much for the full bladder scans until I get to the waiting room, and nobody has ever complained, I also had no problems with that approach at ET.

Pip, keeping anything crossed for you, I think your cat is a sign Smile.

AFM, I'm bit annoyed that DH has gone out with colleagues and despite saying he wouldn't be late back has now sent a text saying he won't be back for another hour, I flew overnight last night and really can't stay awake that long! We have barely dtd this month as I've been away and think I will ov tomorrow..... just really would like the chance of an fufc before IVF round two....

Pixie001 · 13/11/2014 22:59

Spare and trill hope goes well tomorrow. We're all waiting with pom poms and fertility dance routines at the ready.
Smidge so sorry it didn't work out. It's crap. Positive that you're planning ahead for your next steps but just don't rush your body's recovery time. Take AliG's advice.
Lumen how you getting on?
Tiger how our cycles like to keep us on our toes...!
Bushy good luck for tomorrow. Enjoy Manchester no matter what the result. I agree, I'd want to know whether it was safe to have a few bottles drinks or not
Pipbin good news no spotting. are you poas tomorrow? Losing track...
Nearly the weekend berries!!! Woop woop

Jelliebabe2 · 13/11/2014 23:05

I've been baking like mad all night! So just a quick pop in.

Good luck for tomorrow ladies! Xxx

Trill - he's a really snuggly cat c and would be permenantly attached to me if possible, or anyone, but I'm best! Grin

Pixie001 · 13/11/2014 23:06

Xpost Kuma welcome home! Check you out in your business class. Nice to get the air miles. How frustrating about DH. Hope you're able to keep awake and jump him when he gets in.

sparechange · 13/11/2014 23:54

Well the drinks were quite boring so I didn't have any booze there but on my way home, I bumped into my next door neighbours who are great friends, so had some vino with them. On the plus side, it gave me enough Dutch courage to give myself a Clexene shot which I had been previously refusing (sting-y little bastards)
So I think they've cancelled each other out and I'm feeling prepared for the ET as much as I can be.
Although the mighty Trill is the first to start the cluster. Pom Poms ready!

Smidge001 · 14/11/2014 01:27

Unsurprisingly my blood test confirmed the negative. The nurse said that my HCG levels were so low (0.2 I think she said) that it suggests the blast never implanted at all. Not even set up home for a day Sad. No one mentioned my levels last time round so I don't know if that's any different. Quite disappointing as the transfer seemed to go a bit more smoothly than last time (ignoring the speculum scuffing) so I kind of felt the 'move' would be less stressful for the little embie.

spare I am interested to hear that you are starting the clexane before the ET. How many days before? I was told only to inject in the evening of the transfer. I kind of feel it would have been better to do it before, to make sure it was already in my system.

Good luck Trill and spare

lumen · 14/11/2014 07:06

Best of luck today trill and spare.

Sorry to hear your blood test results smidge, when will your next appointment be to discuss this cycle and your FET?

Welcome back kuma, hope your dh finally turned up in a decent enough state to dtd.

Tell me about those eyes bushy, he can get me to do anything for him with one of his pitiful, poor me looks! Let us know how you get on with your pee stick action today. Am jealous of your weekend away, apparently they have nice fabric shops there.

Hi to everyone else. I am slowly going crazy on my 2ww. Things are (tmi alert) very moist so I am constantly on knicker watch. The cyclogest does not help with that feeling. Only a week today until I can test. Have taken the day off next week so whatever the result I can start getting my head around it.

Almost the weekend Grin. Apart from bushys weekend away does anyone have nice plans?

sparechange · 14/11/2014 07:33

smidge So sorry to hear that. Were you on prednisolone? My friend had two unsuccessful rounds where the same thing happened with no sign of implantation. So they stuck her on prednisolone for round three, in case there were NK cells present who were treating the embie like a foreign body. It worked for her and she is now 6 months.
They've offered it to me so I think I'll take it just in case. It does nasty things to you though, and you have to wean odd it slowly so not for everyone.

greatbigbushybeard · 14/11/2014 08:09

Morning, woke up early this morning needing a wee and didn't know whether you can save wee and test later but then curiosity got the better of me so tested. BFP!! Can't quite believe it. Walked in to dark bedroom with dh snoring away & woke him up saying I've got something you need to see, bless him, he was a bit confused and then clocked on to the positive test. Wowee what a morning, we're so pleased and relieved. Dh said it's so nice to know it works naturally and we, hopefully, don't have to do the Ivf again. It's been so hard this year and I did get a little tearful thinking about all we went through and now we've managed the elusive fufc. Being me, my mind is on a mile a minute thinking could we have got this bfp without a prior cycle of Ivf if we had just kept chuntering on or was it having the ivf and getting pg, then the subsequent loss that has done it. It's like has it shown my body what it needs to do? Nearly 3 years in the making. The Ganesha and cats/fur babies is def working

ladybunnikins · 14/11/2014 08:16

Bushy Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile
So happy for you! Well deserved, another FUFC.

lumen · 14/11/2014 08:30

Yay bushy ShockShockShockShockShockShock so happy for you!

Pipbin · 14/11/2014 08:36

Yay for Bushy! Brilliant news! I usually get up at 4 for a wee so I'm not sure if I should test then or not. Ganesha and fur babies for the win. I can see there being a rush in Ganesha statues now.

Smidge, so sorry the test confirmed what you thought.

Good luck Spare and Trill.

AFM - no bleeding this morning, but I feel 'periody' ifkwim.

Pixie001 · 14/11/2014 08:43

Bushy!!!! Bfp!! Grin Such amazing news I am so pleased for you after everything you've been through. I'm nearly in tears myself so can't imagine what you must be feeling. I know it's early days so you must be feeling apprehensive but just enjoy this FUFC BFP! Well that decides what kinda wknd you're gonna have then!

Trillium73 · 14/11/2014 08:48

Yay bushy great news!

Thanks for all the good luck wishes. Going to acupuncture first so will check in later.

Gillster · 14/11/2014 08:48

Woh! I leave this thread for an hour and look what happens! Massive congratulations Bushy!!!!!! I had a sneaky feeling you were going to get a BFP. It's like a rank outsider has come up on the outside to win the race. I know the next ~8 weeks or so are going to be particularly anxious given your history but really hope you get there without too much stress and worrying.

Good luck Trill and Spare!

Let the clusterdiff commence!

greatbigbushybeard · 14/11/2014 09:46

Arrr thanks guys! The rank outsider bit made me chuckle gil. Having a sneaky read in the bathroom & dh has just asked me am I talking to myself as he can hear me chuckling!

pip is it testing time tomorrow? Channelling all the Ganesha, fur baby woo your way. Bring it on!! Yup, no drinking for me! Think dh will drink for the pair of us, he wanted to make Buck's Fizz this morning! Anyway I had better get on, in our usual style we will be late leaving!

tigerdog · 14/11/2014 09:49

bushy YYYAAAAAYYY!! Whooooooop! I knew it Wink. I can't tell you how pleased I am for you. It does seem that for some people who are unexplained, IVF presses a reset button that makes a natural BFP more likely. Have a lovely weekend in Manchester!

Please let this be the start of bfps for everyone. I was thinking last night about how lovely you all are, and how much everyone deserves this all to work out. It simply isn't fair.

smidge tight squeeze for you. Flowers

pipare you testing over the weekend? Periody feelings could mean anything....still keeping everything crossed.

good luck today spare, hope it all goes smoothly. You too trill.

lumen how much longer do you have to wait to poas? Do you have anything nice planned for the weekend to take your mind off of it? I am mainly going to be doing DIY projects and sewing projects (making a roman blind and Christmas decorations).

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/11/2014 10:06

BUSHY GrinGrinGrinGrin
Get in the chopper lass

beakybeak · 14/11/2014 10:06

Wowzer Bushy that is fantastic news to start off the clusterdiff! Congratulations and I really hope it all works out perfectly this time.

Spare and Trill good luck for et today, hope it goes smoothly.

Smidge was the nurse able to shed any light on why there would be an implantation failure? So sorry you're having to go through this Thanks

Kuma welcome back! Hope your dh didn't keep you waiting to long last night.

Pip still crossing all fingers toes etc for you, when is test day?

Lumen fx that is a positive sign for you.

Sorry haven't got to everyone, I'm trying to post quickly at work

sparechange · 14/11/2014 10:07

bushy GrinShock
A proper FUFC! Amazing news!
