Just started ttc again, trying for number 2. Dd is 11 months, and we had 2 mc while trying for her.

So, I was completely relaxed about the whole situation, was going to try for a couple of months of 'we'll see what happens'. Then DH asked me when I could POAS. So now it is set in my head that I am on a countdown, thought I may see if anyone fancies joining me for the wait?

Hmm. Bath sounds good, gonna need it after the gym anyway; bubbles, candles, good book. Sold! Not gonna tip the wine, so if it is a bfn I can at least console myself with it.

Yes, but understandable Virtual. I suggest you buy ONE clearblue of frer test and do it with FMU when hcg is at it's highest. Then when you get your bfp, which I am sure you will, no more testing. XXx

Virtual you still not due af right? You shouldn't be using anything but fmu.... Keep those pee sticks til the morning. I'm sure it with show a nice fat positive in the morning.

Who was it who asked about dpo? Blue? (Sorry I'm on my phone I can't go back a page)....
It is possible to get a positive as early as 8dpo but very rare. At 11dpo, 80%of preggy people will show a positive (based on one set of research). Is far safer to wait for the day af is due (usually 14 dpo) by which point most preggy people will show positive (but still not all)

I can't join in as I wont be testing untill say around 19th 20th November as the witch has just left me, but I'm sure no-one will mind me dropping in and offering my congratulations to the bfp and encouragment for the bfns

Virtual... A positive is a positive! Especially multiple positives... Keep testing if it reassures you... Small price to pay if you ask me

No idea if you can keep pee. Might be waste of £5.... But you could try?

Morning Virtual! I don't see why you can'y keep fmu. I guess it is no different than doing a sample which you take to a gp appt later in the day?
If you can wait until tomorrow that would be better but I know that it is much easier said than done.

I think af is on her way. I have had abdo pains throughout the night and a bit of brown blood when wiping last night. I suspect she will make a full entrance either later today or tomorrow.

I am absolutely shattered. DC was up at 1.30am. Brought him downstairs as he was showing no signs of going to sleep. He has dozed on and off throughout the night. In his waking moments, he has either been sitting on my head or using me as his own personal bouncy castle.

Hello all, can I join in on the POAS party? This is my second month of trying, I'm unsure on when I ovulated as I was travelling/jetlagged so didn't temp throughout the whole month but I'm hoping by the 31st a pregnancy test will be accurate. Have cramps today which is promising-frer lined up and ready to go!
