Halloween POAS - anyone fancy joining me?

Just started ttc again, trying for number 2. Dd is 11 months, and we had 2 mc while trying for her.

So, I was completely relaxed about the whole situation, was going to try for a couple of months of 'we'll see what happens'. Then DH asked me when I could POAS. So now it is set in my head that I am on a countdown, thought I may see if anyone fancies joining me for the wait?

Hi, can I join if it's not too late? I am also due on the 2nd Nov, ttc #2 after a mc in September but I am slightly tempted to poas on the 31st as I am going out that night for wine and steak. I am setting myself up for a fall though, last time I didn't test positive until 4 or 5 days after my af was due.

Can I join in please? I'm not sure I know all the terminology but I'm trying for #2 as well. Had my Mirena out on 30th September and AF started two days later on 2nd Oct. Had a small amount of bleeding yesterday which i think was around 8dpo so now I'm getting excited that it may have been an implantation bleed..? I've been madly symptom spotting too.

Due af 2nd Nov & symptom spotting like crazy! Think I might poas on 31st as not sure I can wait much longer. Trying not to get my hopes up too much, but definitely feel different to normal. Had a cp in Aug & feel as I did then, so fingers crossed!

Yaaaay! A few more of us on the 31st, that's great . So far our thread success rate is 100%

I'm trying not to symptom spot, but was definitely having cramps all yesterday afternoon. As I was at least a week away from af, I am trying not to presume this was implantation. It must have just been random cramps of course.

Dorothy - bleeding is a good sign! (In the weirdest way possible!)

Tiggery - feeling different also good...

Purple Giraffe - best sign yet... You are due to have steak and wine, therefore law of sod means you are most definitely upduffed!

I had the weirdest dream last night, in fact I've been having the most vivid dreams for the last few nights. Is that a symptom? I don't remember what my early symptoms were with DD as she was a complete surprise!

Hi girls :) nope haven't caved yet as only 10dpo today... God it goes so damn slow.. Like watching paint dry lol

Thanks Ibelieve it is supposed to be a very delayed birthday dinner paid for by some friends so hopefully that will be enough to invoke the law of the sod. Trouble is even if I am upduffed I will prob test negative on Friday as I have never got a bfp until several days after af has been due. I have got a frer at the ready though to give it a go.
Any symptoms or bfps today??

I peed on a stick yesterday morning and it was negative.. So then to satisfy my urge to pee on a stick I did 2 ovulation tests yesterday and the 2nd was positive so looks like I'm out for this month if I've only ovulated now 2 days before my period.... Dtd last night and will again tonight hopefully and then back to 2ww for me I think! Confused tho as I thought I had ovulated on the 14th xx

Weird dreams is always one of my first symptoms... Although I haven't had any yet, it was definitely a massive indicator for me! Sounding more positive Dorothy!!

That is weird Kellie.... Any chance of a false positive on opks? I've never used them so no idea!

I have no idea just done one there this morning still positive so I'm not taking any chances incase I've ovulated late this month lol! Gonna invest in some clearblue smiley ovulation tests and thermometer for next month if this doesn't work out this morning... Grrr hate waiting just want to know now when I'm gonna get pregnant lol x

I think im out this month! No symptoms what so ever not even my normal symptoms that i get before AF
My boobs usually hurt for 2 weeks before AF and nothing!!!

Somewhere don't give up yet. That was my thing when I was preg with dd.... Absolutely no symptoms (apart from the weird dreams). So you could be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get any aches and pains whatsoever!

Have the boots opk(no issue buying them in shop) and seems my LH surge is happening. Good luck all x

I have never got symptoms either! You are not out till AF arrives.

I did cave in today after all .. And POAS with a nice strong sample but big bfn .. Not even a hint of a line

It's only natural to be disappointed but last time I got a positive it wasn't until 4 or 5 days after af was due. It is different for everyone.

Thanks purple.. I don't know what even made me cave in to be honest !!! With my ds's I remember that I didn't test until AF was due or past due so I'm not sure why im so uptight about it this time.. Maybe my age, but I find myself getting annoyed with myself for overthinking it and being so impatient

I am the same Kate. In the past, even as recently as my mc last month I didn't test until several days after af was due, mainly because DH was away, but this time I am seriously considering testing early. I am obsessed in a way I never have been before.

I know what you mean it's so strange when we decided to ttc I just though oh we'll just give it a go and see what happens... All casual like ! And now I'm like a bloody mad woman poas like a true pro lol.. Congrats to you lindseyd and gl at the docs tommorow
