The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Pip I love it, it's brilliant! Thanks for posting it. I really do hope you get your bffp this time. All available extremities crossed Smile

Rain that's so sweet of you and your dh, I think we would have done the same thing! Have you poas again then?

A moonstone you say, Kuma....

Wild it's medicated so I'll be stabbing with gonal-f and when the follicle(s) are the right size they give you a trigger and then get you in to put some carefully selected and washed jizz in there with a tube (or summat). Then hopefully a bffp will follow. But it's a very low success rate so will try to remain calm during the 2ww yeah right I should start the stabbing this week if I get the go ahead on Monday. My cycle dates put expected ovulation on a Friday (which will also be our wedding anniversary!) but if it goes over that my FC are closed over weekends so we would just have to have heaps of sex (their words!).

Definitely Sod's law there Lady

lumen · 16/08/2014 07:13

Happy weekend berries, am off to my first acu appointment this morning, fingers crossed it is good. What is everyone else up to?

tigerdog · 16/08/2014 08:29

Oops. Got a little merry last night on a hen do. Blush Ears are ringing from the loud and rather cheesy club/bar we ended up in. Seem to recall some rather embarrassing dancing! Actually it felt pretty good to have a few drinks and be a bit care free even if I have hangover guilt now

Need to sort myself out before Mr Tiger gets home. He is on a lads camping trip. Had to pin him down to dtd before he left yesterday after a positive opk and had to stop myself from getting cross that he'd planned to be away when I'm ovulating. How inconsiderate!

There's been so much chat! Can't keep up!

pip the berry prayer is just fab, great to have a reminder.

lumen enjoy the acu, I love my lady as she is so supportive! Even if the acu does naff all, I value the time talking frankly and openly about ttc.

beaky I'm behind you in the queue with every available fertlity remedy going! I'd smother myself in unicorn poo and eat monkey brains if it would get me pg! And damn these spots - not happy about it especially as have a packed weekend ahead!

rain good luck with the mooncup. Am too scared of recreating a scene from the Texas chainsaw massacre to try one! OH and I also make wishes on anything going - left some money in a wishing tree just last week!

smidge have a fab holiday!

lady you have peed on 'NUFF sticks! Have a lovely holiday. Will be keeping everything crossed for you!

Just listened to the family without a child docu. Incredibly sad. The bit when one lady talks about the realization that she would never see her own child in a play and how the small losses build into something huge was incredibly moving. I have moments like that, when I become overwhelmed with a sadness that I have only felt during relationship break ups or a death in the family. I feel embarrassed to say that because no one has died, but it is painful and that's the truth. Can't imagine my friends getting that though. Also the title, a family without a child, got me choked up before I'd even listened to it. OH and I refer to ourselves as a family all the time. Speaking of which, I can hear my fur baby dreaming - apparently greyhounds have track dreams although how f anyone can verify that I don't know where they think they are racing! Better take her for a walk!

God, look at me waffling on. Must still be a bit drunk!

Hope everyone has lovely weekends!

TheRainDrops · 16/08/2014 09:05

Unicorn poo! Hope your head is getting better - beroca and a bacon sandwich is what you need!
That radio 4 thing sounds like painful listening, not sure I can do it! I don't think you should feel at all embarrassed about your feelings tiger - you can definitely grieve for something that never was (but only temporarily until you get diffed).

Good luck with acu lumen - the relaxation and me time makes it worth it alone for me.

I'm off to Secret Cinema tonight, got to get all 50s-ified, bit first we've been talked into entertaining my 10yo nephew for the morning. He'll be here in 25, I REALLY need to get out of bed!!
Grin

KittenOfWoe · 16/08/2014 10:31

Moonstones and mooncups all round! BUY ALL THE MOON THINGS!

pip that is absolutely brilliant, love it

jellie I think you're spot on re rain's stoopid boss, gets her points across whilst avoiding it as a confrontation.

tiger don't forget to worship Freya too!! I wore a Freya pendant so scans etc and hung her on my headboard when not wearing it. Who cares what works!! Confused

lady loving the pee show!

happy good luck, eeeeee so exciting!! Flowers

Happy weekend to you all, sorry to those I've missed x

greatbigbushybeard · 16/08/2014 11:47

I seriously googled moon stones last night! Haven't heard of Freya. I have scary Tahitian wooden fertility statue that has a rather big penis, was given to us by friends as a joke. Maybe I'll get him out if the cupboard, give him a polish and put him near the front of the cabinet!!

tiger love that you enjoyed yourself last night and are a bit fusty today. Am going out with 2 friends tonight, have already done my hangover shopping- coconut water and ready salted crisps!! Going to fuck it all and enjoy myself!

What is secret cinema rain? Sounds intriguing.

tigerdog · 16/08/2014 12:07

I love coconut water bushy! Mmmm, could do with some now, suddenly realised I'm thirsty as hell and in the car without a drink. Yeah fuck it and have a few drinks, hope you have a great night. Am having a relaxed month as far as having a few drinks and treats are concerned. Definitely get fertility statue out and give the pecker a polish! Hehe.

kitten you did make me chuckle! Will add Freya to the list Grin

Secret cinema sounds ace rain back to the future is one of my all time favourite films! I think i know the entire thing by heart! we used to act it out as kids and I remember getting told off for spitting out a drink trying to do the scene where Marty is in the car with his mum! Do you have a good outfit planned?

In car on way to London, rest of the weekend will be child filled, wish me luck! I know that I will need Berry power to survive it!

Smidge001 · 16/08/2014 12:55

Total love the gospel according to the berries pip. Brilliant! Showed my husband and (after translating a few of the acronyms) he also found it amusing and said "that's you!". Totally is. My GP even sent me for day 21 Prog test on the wrong day.

Have a hangover already from the 3 glasses of wine I've had this evening. Haven't drunk for a month now (apart from the whisky in the birthday cake!) so I think it's gone to my head. Also incredibly dehydrated as my body got so used to doing the 2-3L of water thing.

Currently in a hotel room on the way to the snow. Hubby watching sport on TV and I'm slowly cooling down after the hottest bath ever. love hot baths even though I don't seem to be able to cope with them as well as I used to. or maybe it was just the booze making me feel faint as I tried to get out without slipping
We only have a shower at home so I'm loving the proper bath Smile

This hotel room has a kitchenette thing (microwave, coffee machine (with decaf!! Amazing) fridge. Can you believe that among the standard implements, they have provided a lemon juicer/squeezer and a cheese grater !! A fancy four sided cheese grater, allowing you to select how fine the cheese should be. Who goes to a hotel and finds they need to grate some cheese? Hilarious.

Got to love the fact they give you real milk for your bedroom tea/coffee though. Real milk! Not UHT.
It's made my week!

Snow tomorrow. Enjoy the weekend folks.

greatbigbushybeard · 16/08/2014 14:02

Hear, hear for the real milk in the fridge smidge. When we went to oz for the 2010 ashes our hotel had a fridge with real milk and I was jet lagged so I would wake up at funny times and be starving hungry so I used to eat Tim tams and drink the milk! Love Tim tams!!

pip I do remember reading the gospel according to st berry- absolutely love it. You are v witty. Love the bit about' And the other women would say unto them but I lay with my husband once and am with child!!',A little like willy sniffing!!

Lol at tiger acting out back to the future!!

TheRainDrops · 16/08/2014 15:01

smidge you laugh but MrP and I had a cheese and wine party for two at a hotel we stayed at just before Xmas last year while I was recovering from the miscarriage. We were right on a cliff with a huge fuck off storm going on outside resulting in a total power cut, so we sat in bed with head torches (lent by the owner!) eating cheese and drinking wine. It was bliss!

tiger I'm in a full on 50s prom frock with big red net underskirt - I've done my hair and everything! MrP is looking very fetching in turn ups with white socks, plaid shirt and braces. Been looking forward to this for weeks, BTTF is my favourite childhood move after The Goonies and Labyrinth!

Have great weekends everyone! Witch has literally just rocked up for me (day 32!) and even that isn't dampening my mood today. Grin

beakybeak · 16/08/2014 15:28

Rain that sounds amazing! And I am another massive bttf fan, so am very envious! Your outfits sound fab too! Have an amazing time.

Tiger it sounds like you've had a fantastic well deserved night last night! Berry power to you for the child filled weekend, hope it's not too difficult. Unicorn poo and monkey brains eh.... I'd say you're still drunk Grin

Lumen how was acu?

Kitten I will need to google Freya!

Smidge the hotel sounds amazing! Enjoy your hols

We are DIYing again today, I'm quite enjoying it though! Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend!

Have to confess that after some wine last night, I ended up reading the baby names forum Blush Feel like I've jinxed myself now! Eek.

lumen · 16/08/2014 15:48

tiger I hope your child filled weekend goes ok.

Acu was good thanks beaky, nice lady who had IVF herself at my FC (hers was successful first time) and is a similar age. She wants to see me once a week from now through next IVF cycle as she wants to sort me out after my failed one then get me ready for next. So seeing her again on weds evening.

KittenOfWoe · 16/08/2014 21:55

beaky Freya - or Frejya - was a norse goddess who ruled female sexual energy and fertility. A friend of mine does viking reenactment and lent me her kit for a party in February and gave me the pendant on extended loan as a kind of good luck token.

GnomieGrace · 17/08/2014 09:48

Hi ladies, I carry a moonstone in my handbag but have never heard of Freya, insert google session here! I'm 6dpo and this weekend I am at my in-laws for my FIL's birthday. We had a lovely evening with 6 couples last night and I spent most of the evening wearing a tea cosie! Don't ask! The secret cinema sounds so much fun! Today is a family birthday celebration, I expect lots of inappropriate q's from GMIL she's a dog breeder so gets technical real quick, she doesn't know we are trying and have been for a year but as we have been married 18months and expects us to produce soonConfused! She also wants a great granddaughter, if she could put an order in on Etsy I'm sure she would!

lumen · 17/08/2014 10:33

Best of luck today grace, I find grandmothers the most upsetting when it comes to my lack of childbearing. Mine are in their late 80s / early 90s and so have to speak quite loudly so they can hear each other. Many a 'quiet' conversation they have had about me in the same room when they thought I could not hear. We have almost been married 3 years and together 16 so they have been having these conversations for a while! I would love to give them great grandchildren, maybe I need to start shopping on etsy if they are available there? If fact I will order a job lot for all the berries Smile

tigerdog · 17/08/2014 10:43

Good luck fending off the questions grace! I hope the conversation doesn't get too technical Blush

Glad to hear the acu went well lumen and great that she can empathise having been through something similar. It sounds like she will provide good support during your next ivf.

Enjoy the DIY beaky! And I'm sure you can't jinx things by looking at baby names. If so, I'm stuffed because we'd already picked names ages ago. We talked about in the early stages of ttc and I find it sad that those conversations have dried up.

Off to a party full of kids and pg friends Hmm always feel like I am being scrutinized at these things for signs I might be pg. All my friends are expecting it, I was always the one who loved kids. Weirdly have gone off other people's children in a big way since ttc, must be a self protection thing!

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday!

beakybeak · 17/08/2014 18:02

Oo Lumen great about the acu, I do genuinely think it has helped me already and it's only been 4 weeks.

Gnomie hope you got through ok without too many awkward q's!

tiger hope today was ok for you too! I know what you mean about being scrutinised for signs of being pg, I don't dare go out and not drink because I get grilled. It's annoying too because if you say you're on antibis or something you get The Look.

Hope everyone's has a lovely weekend. Am a bit nervous for tomorrow, more so than last time I had a dildocam. Hmm

Gillster · 17/08/2014 18:54

AF arrived - woo hoo! Never thought I'd say that. So off to FC to see if I'm sufficiently down-regged.

Good luck Beaky.

Happy's getting married in the morning. Ding dong the bells are going to chime. Have a great time, savour every minute, it goes so fast. X

FeatherFeather11 · 17/08/2014 19:52

Ahhh, happy, will be thinking of you in your big day tomorrow! Fantasic!

gill got everything crossed that you're regged and rocking.

beakybeak · 17/08/2014 21:29

Thanks Gill and good luck to you too Grin

Happy have an amazing day tomorrow! Enjoy every minute, Gill is right it goes over so fast!

Feather how are you? Is everything going ok?

FeatherFeather11 · 17/08/2014 21:45

Hi beaky, I'm ok thanks. All seems to be going ok. Just aware of not saying too much on the thread here as I don't want to be in anyway insensitive. But know that I'm keeping an eye on you all and willing on the next Berrie cluster diff! How are you doing? Lots of newbies here on the thread!

tigerdog · 17/08/2014 22:02

Evening!

Ooh happy wishing you the most fab wedding day ever.

Hi feather glad all is going well!

gil good luck tomorrow! Nearly there.

beaky good luck to you tomorrow too, fingers crossed you can go ahead.

Day was fine, lots of kids and pg people but not too much awkward questioning. Also found out that a friend who recently turned 40 is 4 months pg after ivf and several years of trying and I'm very pleased for them.

Pixie001 · 17/08/2014 22:15

Happy I get goosebumps when there's a wedding day...love 'em. hope your day is absolutely awesome. Don't imagine you'll get a chance to catch up with us lot for a little while but looking forward to hearing your tales.
Gill so excited for you. Hope the drugs have been doin their thing and tomorrow brings good news.
Hey pip good to hear from you. Remember the berry prayer from last time I was on here. I actually printed it out then and sure I still have it somewhere.
Good luck for dildocam beaky
Had a very useful wknd. Got my hair done, hairdressers expression when I explained my normal drying process was to throw my head upside down was worth the money in itself! Seriously, am I the only one who doesn't section off my hair to blowdry it properly? She made me feel so uncouth that I actually went out and bought a new brush and clips. Also got loads jobs done round the house and decorating will be finished tomorrow so feeling pleased with myself. Can't say I'm ready for it being Monday again already though.

beakybeak · 17/08/2014 22:16

Aw Tiger that's lovely to hear! Pleased for her and I don't even know her! Us soon eh. Glad your day wasn't too awkward.

Feather I'm so pleased all is going well for you. It's lovely to hear from you. All fine with me, hoping to start iui tomorrow if my cysts have gone - I think my acu lady has helped with that. Also how are RP and Win doing if they are reading?

beakybeak · 17/08/2014 22:19

X post Pixie! Sounds like you had a great weekend! I also blow dry upside down, then whack on straighteners or tongs. it would take me forever to do sections.
