The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Just had a massive barney with DH. He is so hard to shop with. Apparently I'm not allowed a opinion because it's too negative. I won though as I went back to the car and he followed me! Told him I'm supposed to be the hormonal one. Plus I'm starving and being dragged around men's shops is not my idea of a chilled out day

lola60 · 25/08/2014 13:43

Hi ladies, another day another BFN!! Need to stop testing!!!!!!

DulcetMoans · 25/08/2014 13:44

Cat cuddles and sofa day here for me. Would love some of that roast chicken though, can it be sent around the group??

Allthefours · 25/08/2014 13:45

Broody - yes I'm in Leicester (born and bred).

Trying to maintain some positivity but it's tough. I stupidly POAS earlier, whilst there was a line, it was much fainter than the first one a week ago. I have therefore convinced myself that Wednesday will bring bad news. After 48 hours of no bleeding, I have started spotting again which doesn't fill me with much hope.

But we are having roast chicken dinner and a veg out session on the sofa with DH, Breaking Bad and the duvet (and the cat who clearly knows something is up!)

Today is defo a roast chicken and breaking bad day.

I'm supposed to POAS so I can confirm I'm defo not pregnant anymore - but can't bring myself to do it. We pee when we shouldn't and I'm not peeing when I should!!!!

Love to everyone, and lovely to hear from you Broody - if lovely is the right word!

Treaclepie19 · 25/08/2014 15:22

Ugh :( I may join you with breaking bad and roast chicken.
Feeling very low :(
I thought the thrush that has stoppedus trying this month had gone but it turns out it hasn't. Also think I now have a water infection too.
To the doctors I go, again :( I've been every week of my holiday :/

Feel like I should be having roast chicken today but instead we're having fajitas!!

It is a week tmrw that I had my erpc for my 2nd mmc in 4ths and this weekend I have suffered from craps and probably the most bleeding since the procedure (the bleeding is in no way heavy just the most). I was just wondering how others have been since as I went the medically managed route last time so no experience in this. I was thinking that maybe the cramps were just my uterus contracting back?

Enjoy breaking bad everyone, we have watched 33 episodes of Scandal over the last 10 days x

Fergie11 · 25/08/2014 16:04

Oops cramps not craps however it's a good word to describe everything crap!!

Foxtrot7459 · 25/08/2014 16:38

Fellow east midlander here too!!

Brummiegirl15 · 25/08/2014 16:38

Hi Fergie it's exactly a week today since my ERPC. I found the cramps carried on way way longer than the bleeding. I probably stopped bleeding maybe Thursday but cramping probably only stopped this weekend.

I'm still on antibiotics though, they are due to finish tomorrow

I love Scandal - cant get enough of it. Captain Jake Ballard is my inappropriate crush x

Fergie11 · 25/08/2014 17:07

Thanks brummie fingers crossed the bleeding stops soon for me.

I love it too, it's helped having something so addictive to watch. My inappropriate crush is Huck!!

Morning ladies, sorry I've been a bit quiet lately. I'm trying to take a little step back from MN, partly because I want to stop obsessing so much and partly because I'm just starting to lose hope that I'll ever get pregnant again. This was our last cycle before my due date and I don't think we did enough this month, so I'm feeling pretty glum. AF due next Monday so I will poas on Friday.

Sorry you're still suffering from thrush Treacle, that's no fun.

Good luck for tomorrow Allthe, I hope you get some good news.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 26/08/2014 08:41

It's so tough isn't it Metal - My original due date is fast approaching. Felt very confident at the beginning of the year that i'd be pregnant again by now....I have days when I feel MN makes me feel worse (normally when af arrives) and thenI get over it and feel MN helps. Do what you need to do. If having a few days off every now and then helps, do it. Sending you hugs hun.

Treacle, I'm sorry thrush has returned. Have you tried the yoghurt up the fanjo trick? I hope you get it sorted so you can try again next cycle.

I had some VERY vivid dreams that I had a baby last night, a little girl with gingery hair. Smile

DulcetMoans · 26/08/2014 12:19

Ah, what a lovely dream english. Did you get her name in your dream too?!

Looking for somewhere to hide. I had a BFP this morning. Well, a faint positive at least - not quite the same as BFP. Thing is, I don't feel very good about it. It is faint despite being 3 days late, I had a bit of spotting this morning (brown and only once but still) and this just doesn't feel right. I am concerned about chemical pregnancy at the moment.

It just doesn't feel right. Of course I am stressed it will be over again too soon. At the moment I don't even think I will get as far as I did before. Trying not to be negative but struggling to be optimistic too. And too scared to say it out loud.

I should be happy, I know. But after 3 years trying and one MC under my belt I am struggling to think this will be any different.

DulcetMoans · 26/08/2014 12:23

(2 years of trying sorry - hit wrong number)

EnglishGirlsReturned · 26/08/2014 12:29

Nope, no name in the dream....Felt very real though!

Dulcet, first off - a line is a line. Congratulations! What test did you use? It's totally understandable that you're worried. I don't think anyone who's had a miscarriage gets that instant happy feeling. More a mix of joy, shock and fear. Try not to worry though. You know that brown spotting isn't a bad thing. Just keep an eye on it, take it easy and if it gets worse call the Dr.

Fergie11 · 26/08/2014 12:50

Congratulations dulcet , We all appreciated why you are nervous but fingers crossed its a sticky bean. As English says if the spotting gets worse contact your dr xx

DulcetMoans · 26/08/2014 12:53

Thanks ladies. I know this is probably normal. I will probably keep it to myself for a bit though, just in case.

It is a FR english, I had my suspicions on an IC so went to get one to be sure. It's not a squinter but it is faint.

Because I ov late, I worry my proestrogen levels are low - dies anyone gave any advice for that?

Brummiegirl15 · 26/08/2014 13:20

Hi Dulcet a line is a line. Congratulations. But I understand that feeling, after 2mcs up I doubt a BFP will ever be "joyous" again. More joy tinged with fear.

But it's a line. And that's great. Take it each day at a time and I'm keeping everything crossed for you xx

Massive congrats Dulcet! A line is a line!

Regarding late ov- I do to. I read that vitamin B can help, and am currently having acupuncture with the aim of getting into a more regular, balanced cycle... that's all I can offer, hopefully your line means this is no longer a worry!

Metalhead · 26/08/2014 14:14

Congrats Dulcet, I hope your fears are unfounded but totally get why you're nervous.
