The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Hi ladies - sorry I haven't been able to catch up with all your news, I hope you're all really well. Unsurprisingly, as I had pee sticks coming out of my ears when TTC, I opened a drawer the other day and it was full of IC OV and HPT sticks. Any takers? All is, as far as we know, fine my end - 20 week scan on Monday. Trying to quell the fear, as ever...but it's all been ok so far. Massive luck with your BFP quests, one and all.

Well, my uti keeps coming and going so going to have to go to the doctors tomorrow. It's quite sore at the moment. Don't know what to do about dtd... Don't want to miss ovulation but don't want to make it worse.

sebs sorry, I don't really know. Like you I tend to totally dry up right before AF but before that it seems to come and go. Much like my boobs. Bodies can give off confusing signals in my experience. I would try not to think too much about it. Are you using ov sticks?

Ladies - I had a real kicker this evening. Went out with a client and the team. We sit down in the restaurant - she announces she's pregnant. With twins. 14 weeks, due early Jan - exactly like I would have been. I had to squeal and shout and say congratulations with everyone else and then we had to spend the whole meal talking about how fucking exciting it was. I wanted to run screaming from the table with my fingers in my ears. This fucking sucks girls, it sucks.

monten that is crap. When I found out about the girl at work it really set me back.
I've been in France for the week. Seen two preggas people in 7 days. Forgot about everything and totally chilled out. As I sit here I am already dreading seeing girl at work tomorrow.
It's a new month though and keeping positive that cycle 3 post erpc could be lucky!

Sorry ladies about the me me me post. I'm stressed. My brown discharge appeared again. Right now I wiped and I can see pink discharge! What is going on.. Cramps have gone for today.. Am I miscarrying again???.

hope, try not to worry, the scan probably irritated your cervix. I expect its nothing to worry about. Hopefully it will settle.

I've just realised I'm due my AF on Saturday. Been so busy, I'd totally forgotten to keep track. We'll see what the weekend brings!

Oh Hope sorry I missed your post before. Apparently in all pregnancy but especially early pregnancy the cervix can bleed a bit if irritated. It's because the hormones do something I think. They warn you that if you have sex it may well happen and not to worry. Brown and pink is ok, it's only if it's bright red and coupled with bad cramps that there maybe a problem - as you can tell I've been researching this lots recently!

As long as its not red and I'm not in severe pain it should be okay.. I'm hoping it will go. Don't understand the brown discharge though its getting darker

monten you're an absolute legend. I just can't imagine I'd have been able to stick it out and listen to that excited babble that you only hear when people bring out diamond rings or scan pics. Lou I hope your first day back is okay, I get terrible post-holiday blues, so I sympathise your return will be compounded by seeing preggas lady. Make sure you mention how much amazing red wine you drank and soft cheese and pate you ate.

broody yes I work in PR and can tell you know exactly what I mean. Everyone was very very EXCITED.

I've been trying to describe to DP how it feels, jealousy is there but it's more bittersweet than that. And then I remembered that gameshow Bullseye! When they showed the contestants all the prizes they could have won. It's like that.

Very excited to read about all the BFPs whilst I've been away!

Monten I think you were very brave. I unexpectedly met an old friend who was very heavily pregnant a couple of weeks ago and I literally not figuratively, honest ran away. Luckily, we were in a group and she didn't seem to notice.

So, for my honeymoon I took the super sensitive early response HPTs, and tested from the day before AF was due. BFN, so DH (eek! ) and I enjoyed a week of alcohol and cheeses, and I praised my hayfever tablets every day.

Was 4 days late, which is very unlike me, but still BFN on the 10 miu. Ran out of 10miu, so decided to try a 20miu - BFP straight away! Now, I'm so scared! I don't know how I feel about it - do I get excited, or do I just ignore it until I get a bit further on?

Congratulations river!!!! Yay!! If I was you id do a clearblue digi test and then make an appointment to see the doctor. Just for your own sanity!! Take it easy and enjoy your summer and no more alcohol!!
