The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Ah, I should have waited a couple of hours to jump on the new one - afternoon all!

Sal - the diets and plans didn't work for me either but I did get referred to a dietician who helped me see the really bloody obvious things, plan out my diet and sort out portions. That and upping the exercise helped me lose 5 stone. Did they offer you any kind of support?

I understand the first cycle after a MC is the WTF cycle (see, I did the homework!) but is there any clue as to what should happen? Is the MC considered CD1 or anything? I'm confused already!

TinyTear · 01/07/2014 14:15

For me the ERPC days I considered CD1... and with the medical management, it was vaguely correct the main day as CD1...

tannyLoo · 01/07/2014 14:25

Tiny! Nice to see you here...

tannyLoo · 01/07/2014 14:28

Dulcet sounds like your homework is going well. I've counted the first day of full of bleeding as day 1, like in a regular cycle. I've had days of spotting or on/off bleeding before, so it can be tricky to calculate for certain.

Mrsm14 · 01/07/2014 14:29

Hi all, wanted to drop in and introduce myself, although I'm a bit all over the place when I think about ttc again. Mmc and erpc ten days ago and I'm still off work at the moment. Feeling sad, pissed off and lacking all motivation and keep worrrying I should be doing better, or that I am too anxious to get pregnant or have a safe pregnancy now. Aargghh. Sorry, I'm just a bit of a mess. Really want to be pregnant again but terrified of another mc and that I won't be able to cope with all of this. Hoping some good news stories will help me feel a bit braver x

Boozle80 · 01/07/2014 14:29

I've just eaten ice-cream for the third day running. Need. To. Stop!! Not sure I'm the best to give advice on diet!at the mo! It tastes so good though!

Littlelady33 · 01/07/2014 14:30

Hello ladies thanks Sal for the new thread! All quiet over here on cd 4 and feeling positive about July!

Lou07708 · 01/07/2014 14:54

MrsM Welcome. The best thing about this thread is you probably thought you were alone and slightly insane then you read our thoughts daily and realise, those crazy thought are actually normal. 10 days is still really early and hormones will be up and down. one day at a time and the fear and anxiety is NORMAL.

broodylicious · 01/07/2014 15:07

sal I'm on the Boosh diet - it's working for me. Similar to cambridge but nicer and cheaper. Lost a stone in two weeks xx

Daisybell1 · 01/07/2014 15:14

Ooh shiny new thread! Scan done and there's a heartbeat. Am stunned.

Lou07708 · 01/07/2014 15:16

Oh wow daisy that is the best news. Something to Smile about! Here is hoping for more good news in July. It may not be bfp's all round but it could be AF returning, ovulation etc or just feeling a little more hopeful!! Fingers X for is all!

TinyTear · 01/07/2014 15:21

Just a quick question, I am a newbie to the thread even if an old hand at this...

Can I be excused and POAS on other days of the week (like next monday/tuesday)?

I will need to as I finish my cyclogest and need to know whether to continue or save the rest for next month... and neex to contact GP to increase levothyroxine as well

And whether to email Coventry desperately for my results... So I shall be POAS monday or tuesday... sorry Grin

Hello all Smile
Welcome new faces, big hugs for finding yourself here.

Daisy great news for a sunny day!

Please can I pick your full of wierd and wonderful knowledge brains....
So, is there an amount of time post ovulation that ad occurs, I mean if you have a 26 day cycle, could you ov on cd19 or does that not happen. I am sure I must have checked this but am confused whether timing of ov affects cycle length or the 2 aren't linked.
Basically having (another) wierd cycle. EWCM last weekend, around time of excepted ov but more this weekend with cramping, late ov @ cd19? Cycles about 26 days since mc#2. Sorry for the essay and thank you!
P.s thanks for new thread sal

bythesea82 · 01/07/2014 15:32

P.p.s tiny think you might be allowed a permission slip!

TinyTear · 01/07/2014 15:39

Justonemoretime · 01/07/2014 16:17

Thanks for the new thread, Sal. I'm on cd2, and I'm also planning on this month being the month... :)

DulcetMoans · 01/07/2014 16:24

bythesea - all my ov knowledge is based on how things work before MC, no idea if things cannot will change after. However, my understanding is you could ov on CD19 of a 26 day cycle but that would give you a short luteral phase. The luteral phase is meant to be consistent every month meaning you should then ovulated around 7 days before AF every month. But whether ov and AF is messed up after MC I don't know. Not sure that helps!

Yay for heartbeat daisy - positivity your way!

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 01/07/2014 16:27

Hi everyone!

Phew what a roller coaster 36 hours. After my mini meltdown down yesterday I'm feeling much better today. Thank you all SO much for your words of encouragement and making me feel like I'm not going comepletely mad! Went to the Drs this morning and got signed off for another week though I am planning on going in for a few hours over the next couple of days for a distraction. The midwife then also called me at home this afternoon and we had a good chat. Literally feel like a different person today and much more positive. Even managed to get out to the shops today. The nurse did mention re counselling but the midwife didn't mention it on the phone so I'm not going to pursue it for now.

Dulcet I'm glad you found your way over to this thread, it really is wonderful.

I too am massively confused re AF. Midwife said to expect a proper period within a month as my cycles were like clockwork before but who knows!

Loving all the positivity, the sun is out, it's a new month and we will get pregnant! X

Marmaladecat1 · 01/07/2014 17:13

Hello!
I'm also still in the wtf cycle day 31.
Apparently today is a fertile day..hmm! Not sure I believe that!
Can't help to try I guess. Not feeling good about this month.
Work is crap and home is crap and it's my bday next month and that's crap too! Woe is me

Boozle80 · 01/07/2014 17:28

That's amazing news Daisy! Bet you can't stop smiling :)

Oneday I'm glad today is better than yesterday. I'm on pretty much the same so we can be psychotic symptom spotters together in a few weeks!

Marmalade sending you some of my favourite swear words to help you through, knob, bollocks and ffs are amongst them. Feel free to add your own - it always makes me feel a little better! Ooo, dick-wad is another! Other than that, sending you a hug - it's shit when life and home are being rubbish :(

Welcome to all new faces, it's crap you're here but you're in the right place

broodylicious · 01/07/2014 17:31

Dick wad. Yes boozle, I like that. Think I'll start using that. In return, an old fave of mine is bag of wank Wink

Boozle80 · 01/07/2014 17:34

Bag of wank - I'd forgotten that! Love it! Or knob cheese is another that often comes to mind!

Justonemoretime · 01/07/2014 17:42

Silly bollocks. ;)

DulcetMoans · 01/07/2014 18:00

Oh love a good swear, I do! I've watched Anchorman today though so I am enjoying quoting instead - I love lamp! Anything to cheer me up.

Thanks for signposting me here too oneday, glad you've got some extra time off to feel better. Sounds like today had been a big step forward.

tannyLoo · 01/07/2014 18:03

"Come the fuck in, or fuck the fuck off" has been in my head all day as we watched The Thick Of It last night. Seems apt today!
