The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Hi bushy good to hear from you, and so so sorry you are in this awful situation. Definitely get that drink down you. It will take time to heal, so be kind to yourself. Raspberry leaf tea should help, it does seem like quite powerful stuff. I do hope you are as ok as you can be. lots of love x

lumen the catching rainbows lady recommended up to 100mg to me.

I have been feeling like an angry Dragon last night and this morning, interspersed with random episodes of bursting into tears. I can keep on a positive track until af arrives, and then I am derailed by hormones and disappointment.

IamKuma · 01/08/2014 12:37

Lumen. 600mg per day of the coq10. The 200mg are in the penny sale at the moment so a good time to buy as they are £££ otherwise. Shock

beakybeak · 01/08/2014 21:05

Bushy hugs Wine and Thanks for you. And for when you start ttc again, a lucky Shamrock for you. You are so strong and you and your dh sound like you have an amazing supportive relationship. Remember we are all here any time you need us too. Tiger is the H&B queen although I think there's a few of us rattling around with the expensive turns your wee yellow supps at the mo! You could try vit d as well as the coq10 etc if you've not already.

Gill well done on your run! And yey to the positive thinking! What a lovely coincidence that your friends are doing an FET at the same time! How will they see the surrogate and keep up to date with everything if she is abroad? Is that a really stupid question?!

Lumen your follow up app is soon isn't it?

Happy did you enjoy the spa and tea? Sounds lovely!

Kuma how was your acu appointment? Sorry things are not progressing as quickly as you'd like. I also always find it difficult when me and dh don't see each other much.

Tiger hopefully the fire breathing dragon will pass soon for you. It is so disappointing when AF arrived Sad

How is everyone else?

lumen · 01/08/2014 21:23

Hey beaky you have a good memory, our review meeting is first thing Tuesday. We both have the day off so have booked an afternoon tea for two at a manor house so looking forward to the day.

Very glad it is the weekend it's been a long week. Hope people have nice days planned?

Jelliebabe2 · 01/08/2014 21:40

Hi all

I wrote a super long post earlier that I'd made notes for and everything. However my tablet doesn't post stuff out of the house (doh forgot)

So I can't remember what who I meant to say this to but..........

My clinic in Prague doesn't arrange travel etc i know they have a few special rates with some hotels but we booked our own! I know some clinics have this service like a concierge.

Errrrr cysts, I didn't have any Idea I had one in so far as I didn't feel any different... But I did have a long 2 week period and the whole cycle was 60 days long ( not unheard of for me) I wonder if I've had these cysts before?

Acupuncture ... I have it while I'm cycling because it feels like I'm in control of something. However I'm really not sure if it's doing anything. The only effect I can tell you is I sleep well afterwards. I DO NOT FIND IT RELAXING AT ALL!

Bushy - so sorry to hear your news. I went through similar earlier this year. My heart bleeds for you. It will get easier but for now hug your oh, cry, let it out and drink wine.

AFM - I looked at the date earlier and had a startle.... It's one month and one day until my 40th... I really thought I'd be diffed by then. I nearly cried and it was a good thing I was covering reception or I would have done (they don't like you to cry on reception it scares people!). Do I have to join an over 40 board? If I have my period before the 6th then it's still possible, if not then its out..

Swear words swear words swear words

I think I might drink wine and cry...

bushy you more than deserve a big old drink. It does sound as if you and your DH have a lovely supportive relationship. Cornwall sounds nice, hope you have nice weather. Thinking of you and hope this last bit is over quickly.

tiger sorry AF is here. The fact AF can make us a bit teary adds insult to injury when you are also just down that the dragon is there at all.

chloe glad to hear everything is going well with you. Little pompom dance for you.

I'm off sailing this weekend. Need to get an early night. Have good weekends everyone.

Jelliebabe2 · 01/08/2014 21:50

Omg is there any way to delete double posts? Too impatient!

Gillster · 01/08/2014 22:54

Jellie, I turned 40 in March and I'm still lurking on this thread. No one has suggested that I sling my hook but maybe they're too polite!

Not entirely sure how my friends will keep up with their surrogate. She is in Mexico. I think most of the updates come from a clinic coordinator.

TheRainDrops · 02/08/2014 22:28

jellie don't be daft! There's no upper age limit here. Those birthday milestones are tough, and I can only imagine a landmark one must be even more so but keep the faith - or let us on your behalf at least.

wildflower ooh sailing! I use to sail when I was younger, what do you sail?
Got major fun weekend envy now, I've just spent the evening from hell at the ruby anniversary party for SIL (whose baby was born when mine would have been due) parents. Everyone gushing and cooing over DNephew, a pregnancy announcement from SIL's brother and a gaggle of bumps and people with newborns + grandparents talking about the family 'baby boom' and how life begins when you have kids.

I've been having a really good few weeks recently, feeling positive and generally just happier than of late but this evening just sucked it all out of me.
On our way home now and will be putting the whole thing out of my head. Screw them all!

lumen · 02/08/2014 22:48

You are right rain, screw them all!

tigerdog · 02/08/2014 23:04

As rain says there is definitely no upper age limit jellie!

rain that really does sound like an evening from hell, well done on surviving it, and fingers crossed you'll be joining them soon enough. I think it is nigh on impossible to remain positive in the face of that onslaught, but hopefully you can put it out of your head and get back on the positivity track. Wine for you.

We had friends and their kids round today. Lovely day but really reminded us we had bought this house to have children in, and it felt empty after they left.

It has been very quiet in here today. Hope everyone is having a good weekend! Sailing sounds fab wild hope the weather is ok wherever you are, it was horrible here this morning!

Gillster · 02/08/2014 23:11

Nightmare evening Rain. You did well to make it through. Try not to lose your new found positivity though. Smile

ladybunnikins · 03/08/2014 21:25

Hello all and sorry for the long absence, I needed some time away after the second IVF failure and a few RL pregnancies. I haven't read back much yet but I'm so sorry to hear your news, Bushy. Thanks
I had a saline scan a few weeks ago which picked up a polyp so I'm on the waiting list for a hysteroscopy and polypectomy before I can do a frozen cycle. I'm 8dpo today and got a faint second line on a FRER, my first ever on a natural cycle. Not going to get my hopes up but nice to know that sperm and egg are capable of meeting up without the help of an embryologist.

happylass · 03/08/2014 21:32

Ah lady it's fantastic to see you. You've been in all our thoughts. Will keep everything crossed for you and offer a hand to hold. Would be great to see you stick around but we totally understand if it's still too soon. It's been a bit quiet around these parts the last few days. I'm hoping everyone is just making the most of the nice weather!

lumen · 03/08/2014 21:50

Welcome back lady, so are you going to poas again tomorrow? Been a while since any poas action on this thread Grin

lumen · 03/08/2014 21:53

Sorry for double post modern technology went to the h&b penny sale today and got coq10 and royal jelly, let the rattling commence.

ladybunnikins · 03/08/2014 22:21

Hi Lumen, maybe just an IC tomorrow, just got one FRER left. I ditched all the supplements except pregnacare after the IVF, might start back on the coenzyme Q10 because the consultant had said that it has a similar benefit to folic acid.

ladybunnikins · 03/08/2014 22:22

Hi Happy, are you still waiting for IVF on welsh NHS or are you doing a private cycle?

happylass · 03/08/2014 22:35

Lady we've been on the NHS waiting list for a couple of months but it's looking like the end of next year before anything will be happening there. We're allowed 2 private cycles whilst we wait so we've got the planning appointment for our first private cycle on Wednesday. We're hoping to start pretty much as soon as we get back from honeymoon at the end of August.

HampshireBlues · 04/08/2014 10:43

Hi all, sorry for the long absence again - this time I will be a good berry!

Bushy I am so sorry to hear your news, I hope that you are managing and am sending big hugs.

I'm also sorry to see Barking go! but totally understand the need to have a break.

So I decided to leave things another month and work on getting back in touch with myself, I had a session of cranio sacral therapy last week and the therapist made some interesting observations so I have some work to do, and I am trying to do some mindfulness techniques. Who knows if it will help but it is definitely helping me to try and relax. Am hoping that the GP will let me go back to work next week and have the joy of an occupational health assessment this week!

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

lumen · 04/08/2014 11:09

Good to hear from you hb and to hear you being positive.

Pg announcement in work today, hate the way I feel towards these people who do not deserve it, it is not their fault I am not pg. Wanging required please Confused

WildflowerMarmalade · 04/08/2014 11:15

rain I was doing my RYA Level 1 and it was in a Venture. It was good but quite stiff all over this morning.

Ruby wedding and SIL, I was wondering how old this woman was! Then I saw that it was SIL's parents' anniversary. How many years is ruby - is it 40?

I bloody hate it when people go on about how life before you have children is meaningless and you only really become a grown up when you have a family of your own. Or how you are selfish before you have children and it's only when you become a parent that you really understand what it means to think about somebody else. Some of these comments are practically verbatim.

I've wound myself up now! Blush Will have to come back and catch up with the thread when I've calmed down.

WildflowerMarmalade · 04/08/2014 11:21

It is hard when there are pg announcements at work.

You feel the way you feel lumen. They weren't thinking about how you'd feel if they got pg- I mean, obviously they weren't , why would they? You don't need to feel bad about how you process the shitwhat you have to deal with in your life.

Feeling resentful because she has what you want does not mean that you are a bad person. So long as you don't act on it by, say, bringing in lots of delicious treats every single day which are not suitable for pg ladies and leaving them on her desk. Grin
