I dont drink coffee but I have cut down how much tea I drink.

I was soooo sure I was pregnant last month stupid bodies really do like to mess us around.

Mega bloated and tummy pain today AF not due for another week trying not t think symptom grrrrr

Vic and Blueberry not long after we started ttc DH was advised to give up caffeine so we both switched to decaff (he moaned like hell at first!) you can't tell the difference in taste - I couldn't get through the day without a coffee! On the plus side, when you are absolutely exhausted instead of needing 5 coffees to get you through the day, one or 2 really perks you up!!!!

ginger at work today i dealt with a young girl who has had two babies taken into care, a recent MC and is pregnant again. :-(

I'm still drinking coffee and wine but have cut back on both. It does seem unfair when you see those doing all the wrong things getting pregnant at the drop of their knickers a hat.

Feel ok today really, apart from being really bloated and having bastard period pains.

Seems ages til 2nd june! Actually it even seems ages til cd 8!!

Not sure whether to get opks again. Though think i will probably cave in and buy them. If not will aim for dtd from cd 7 onwards as much as poss!

Ooops! Got th bro in law down and just realised I'd left a used opk (today's totally neg one) on the side! Hope he didn't see it!

Hi blue. I'm the same - 11dpo but 5days til AF due. Feeling really bloated but nothing else but very hopeful... Plan to test on Monday morning - day early. Finding it very hard to not plan to test on Sunday ... Or Saturday ... Or tomorrow... Or now... :-/

Thanks for the lovely welcome ladies! Sorry that af got you notta. I think she might get me tomorrow, although no symptoms as such. Had a proper stabby pain at times today that took my breath away, which was weird because af is normally just achey.

Err I feel so sick, just ate a load of dark chocolate, the idea is to eat less for the same chocolate kick, but I ate the same amount and now just feel ill!!

MB1985, a hycosy is basically a procedure that checks if your tubes are clear. They inject a dye into them and perform an ultrasound scan to check the tubes are patent. Sounds like fun hey?!

Ginger, ha! At the dark choc thing, I'm forever doing that!! Try and convince myself I'm being 'healthy' then consume my own body weight, not sure it quite works like that

RE alcohol and coffee, I gave up weeknight cheeky wines and cut my 3-a day coffee habit into one tea, then fruit tea only but work has been nuts so I'm back up to one coffee a day. It might sound naive but I'm just not sure how much it can impact since lots of people with serious habits get pg all the time... But maybe that's why I'm on cycle 15. Who knows!?!!

Evening all. I feel fat and horrid. Partly because I am a bit fat, partly due to the two bars of choc today, then carrot cake after my v.healthy tea. And mostly I thinkk due to AF. The bitch.

I deal with feckless instadiffers on a daily basis sadly. My mum is a foster carer too so i get it at work and in private. Mostly its fine, i wouldn't want their lives just their fertility but sometimes it bothers me.

one is hycosy = hsg or are they diff? I know hsg is xray not u/s so maybe that's where they differ. I'm waiting for next cd1 to book hsg as it has to be done 24hrs after you stop AF but before cd10!!

m33r pineapple is a thing but not juice. its the core and you are only supposed to eat 1/5th on days 1-5dpo. the bromelaine is supposed to help with implantation. the juices are usually heat treated which kills the bromelsine. you stop after 5dpo as it can cause mc in high doses apparently.

sounds like a few of you are coming to the end of the tww. fx at least one preferably all end in bfps!

Hello ladies. Room for a little one?
I started TTC #2 since May last year. I was really lucky to get a BFP on cycle 3 but sadly it very quickly started to go wrong. Even so it took 4 very long week for MC to be confirmed and I opted for surgery. It then took 11 weeks for AF to return. AF has been pathetically light since then. As I am 39 (for another couple of months at least) GP has done tests I need for referral to fertility clinic. No issues with day 21 or day 1 results. DH SA came back as low end of normal. He needs to do a repeat. I have an apt with GP to discuss result and referral in a couple of weeks. Not sure what to expect.

Notta I echo you about feeling fat and horrid (usually another good sign AF is on her way) I have eaten myself sick today on junk food and AF isn't even here yet!! What is wrong with me? Diet must start tomorrow!!
I am 27, I will be 28 in about 6 weeks though!
Right m33r me too, I will not POAS until I'm late, but then, how do I work that out!? Taking B6 to lengthen my LP means I don't actually know when I'm late! I have heard about pineapple juice, I think it's actually meant to be eat pineapple core from 5dpo, it's got to be better than grapefruit juice anyway! I wonder the same about alcohol/caffeine, some people have soooo much worse habits and get pg, some people try all the fertility tricks under the sun for years and then fall pregnant when they give up...so who knows what works!!?

Been hiding out after an-ov cycle last month and feeling horrible about it and then the worst af for months. Now cd 4 and she's already leaving so spar I shouldn't compatible to much but now I'm officially ttc for 2 years and that is so depressing. GP appointment Saturday to compete fertility referral and book dh sa and my bloods.

I'm 33 and don't drink alcohol or caffeine and am still having no luck so ladies my advice is keep drinking if you like it!

Good luck all those towards end of cycles. We really need some good news!

forgot to say I'm 29+ a couple of weeks old! in the life plan I had I would have a one year old by now, instead I'm praying for a bfp before I turn 30! my 27yo dB is about to have his 2nd child so all eyebrows are raised in my direction. ppl always expected me to announce I was pg right after we got married. now the constant questions about when r we going to have kids have stopped and I feel like they are all whispering behind our backs about why we haven't yet.

Oh lil snap I'm 28 but dh is the big 4-0. He has a 23 yo neice so I think his family think he's past it lol! Been married 3 years - am now sick of questions. At least my Mum is sensible enough not to nag! She had a mc before me and then thought she couldn't have any so she prob knows how I feel even though she doesn't know we are ttc if that makes sense?

Am gutted about the pineapple! You had my hopes up I LOVE pineapple juice lol. Not sure about the core though!

I'm 30, DH is 42. People have stopped asking us now which makes me think there are whispers too ... Probably everyone has given up on us! Gutted on the pineapple juice as was so conscientious (prefer grapefruit!!) but it could be worse!

Im 26 next month but my family always have kids early my mum was the oldest at 20 when she had me...now ive won that hands down.

Dp is 30 in August but he never wanted kids.

I get asked where the kids are constantly it breaks my heart that I cant even do that right.

I've just turned 34 and dh is 36 today! He's in bed very hungover after going out with his bro last night. I didn't go as had reflexology then came home to chill with a green tea. He came home wasted claiming he wasn't but them promptly threw up. Boak. Hardly got any sleep worrying about him plus he was snoring. So got him and bro-il still in bed dying whilst I had to get up for our builders, who are late! Bloody men! Dh is meant to be calling docs for his sa results! He can't do that til bro has sloped off back home and he's got his clear head back on. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

M33r.... I read that if you try ivf you have to be caffeine and alcohol free, is that true? I just thought I might as well switch to de-caff now. Dh is half and half on de-caff and normal but I've made the total break! Oh, and don't poas before af!
