Hopefully we'll see more BFPs on this one!

Lil I'm sure you can't wait to get the hsg done and dusted! But it will be over before you know it. Then you can relax for the rest of your cycle and crack on next cycle with your shiny new tubes ;)

Went for a run....still no spotting...if it was there pretty sure it would have been noticeable after my run....(sorry tmi) cruel tricks again I'm sure of it!!!

m33r · 10/06/2014 20:53

mama my fingers are well crossed! Keep us posited! Daily updates please! FX FX FX

lil good luck with hsg. It was so hard not to ttc this month - using contraception ... What!?!!! Anyway, we managed but I'm just dying for AF to get going again. Think of it this way, lots of people get pg after the hsg as even of nothing is 'wrong' it can give you a good flush. That's what I'm telling myself anyway!

Mam31 · 10/06/2014 21:05

I've heard that too M33R so hopefully both of you and Onelife get preggers after having a good flush!

Thankyou for you well wishes M33R, I'm trying so hard not to get ahead of myself but will be hopeful as long as the spotting stays away as I've had it for 13 cycles and I am quite surprised not to have it now! I will definately keep you updated daily but it's going to be a long few days!

And yes I see what you mean about using contraception haha! Must have been weird!

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 07:10

Woke up for immediate crotch watch...still no spotting.....

m33r · 11/06/2014 07:24

Any other symptoms mama? How many dpo are you?

OP posts:
Mam31 · 11/06/2014 07:36

Nothing M33R, literally feel nothing. I haven't used opks in a while but going from past opks I would have got pos opk on cd12 most commonly, once on cd11. I'm now on cd24. So maybe 10dpo? I'd say that's probably right as I don't think I've ever got to 14dpo as af would have arrived by then so sat would be 13dpo when af is due.

I usually get awful cramps with the spotting so always know when it's coming. But I don't feel anything. Maybe my hormones have settled or something and I'm gona get less days spotting. Trying so hard not to get my hopes up! It's so soul destroying then when af arrives and I should know by now not to do this!!!

How are you today M33R?

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 07:40

I've just checked back and I think cd13 was more commonly pos opk, but recent couple of months it was cd12. Could be 9 or 10dpo. Grrrr....why does sat seem so far away!

m33r · 11/06/2014 09:00

I'm good mama; think AF going to make an early appearance which would be BRILLIANT as I just want to get back to it. Back to work today too.

Time just seems to stand still! Hang in there! I'm very proud of you not poas; there was a time (seems like a lifetime ago!) you'd have been well on it! Good for you.

OP posts:
Mam31 · 11/06/2014 09:37

M33R, I must admit I have caved and got a bfn this morning on a sainsbury test; but I've learned my lesson and will not be poas again until Friday if still no spotting. I'm was so in control of my poas addiction, I don't know what came over me! Stupid really!!!

Hope af comes quickly for you then you can get back on the saddle ;)

maybug3 · 11/06/2014 10:48

Hi everyone.

Mama crossing everything for you as we all know a bfn this early means little.

Good luck for those being/already flushed! Let's hippie it does the trick as we are desperate for some bfp's here!

Popped in to doctors reception again and although they still don't know exactly which treat was inconclusive they have put 'no further action' next to it and the others were all satisfactory. Guess that's good...

Talked to dh and told him that his results were stressing me. He had promised to phone the doctors today and find out anything he can.

My concern had been made worse after I asked for the next sa pack for dh whilst I was in the doctors as he hadn't got around to collecting it after they rang him to say it was ready for him (they'd run out and could only give him 1 initially). It wasn't there and she checked his notes and said she would need him to speak to them...

I may be getting totally paranoid but it suggests to me there is no point in him doing the 2nd test...got to be bad news but I just need to know what we're dealing with!

So now I just sit and wait and hope dh does actually phone and actually gets some answers...

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 11:32

Awh May that's so stressful for you, DH needs to man up and make the phonecall and I think you should be quite firm with him now explaining that it's making you feel awful. I hope you get it sorted, hugs!!!!

victoria401 · 11/06/2014 12:22

My dh was the same May. I had to pester him to call as he acted like he didn't care one way or other. But he needs to make you happy, that's what hubby's are for :-) hope the results are ok. Do let us know x

I'm glad you've not had any spotting mama. Lets hope its a sign of good things x

I've just kinda skim read so I might do a proper catch up later. Having a bad day today and can't concentrate on one thing for long plus my eyes are sore from hayfever. Ick.

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 12:57

Just got my gynae appointment through! Wasn't expecting it until August! It's for 26th June! At least the ball will be rolling now....nervous about it though!

m33r · 11/06/2014 13:02

may like vic just skimming but DH may be embarrassed. My clinic let my DH phone up / write and give permission for two things: one for me to be able to discuss DH but also - this is the good bit - for me to pick up the print out of the sa. I managed to do this by DH phoning at 2pm and me leaving work early. I had no conversation but had the print out open in my car by 5.40 the same day. Hope this works for you too. Be insistent! It's his info. Also this way, you and DH have time for any surprises to sink in before you have to discuss anything. Good luck.

Can anyone tell me what they will do on my first appointment???

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 14:35

Found tiny bit of light brown cm at C. I'd say that's me out is the beginning of the spotting. Glad the appointment letter came today, at least I can focus on that.

m33r · 11/06/2014 14:37

Oh also may 'no further action' sounds great!

OP posts:
lil1ady · 11/06/2014 15:17

may if I were you I'd want to know what wasn't conclusive. book am appointment and speak to the Dr and find out just how good the results were. it may be your rubella or something was inconclusive and that's just a jab if necessary but best to get it done.

mama focus on the positives. 26th June is really soon. and your not out yet! at my first appt we saw Sr nurse who took some basic notes. do we smoke, drink, how long was I on the pill, any family history stuff like that. they also booked my internal USS and tried to book hsg as I was at right point in cycle but there were no appts. they mentioned our previous tests briefly. she tried to make out dhs results weren't really bad which was just confusing more than anything. I've read some ppl have USS at that first appt though.

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 16:00

Thanks lil. I've accepted af on the way, have cramps and that means spotting will become steady til full flow af on sat! Your right though, I will stay positive as the letter couldn't have been better timing really!

I'm going to go on 1st appointment on my own so I will bring DH SA result printout with me. DH is working and I don't want to get him to book leave as I'm sure it will be needed for more important appointments in the near future. I will see what the letter says when it comes with appointment time.

I'm going to focus on the many positive things we have organised for summer and the fact that the fertility support is hopefully not too far away now. Guess I'm lucky to get the appointment for end of June rather than august as expected!

m33r · 11/06/2014 16:50

Sorry mama.

At my first appt, they asked a load of questions then got me up on the bed to scan my ovaries. Very reassuring to see them. Then sent me on my way with a three month waiting list for a lap (it came in 2).

DH not required but I think they like them to be there so maybe have a story about DH working away that week and it being booked months ago. Also, we were sat in. Tiny waiting room with five other couples all knowing what we were there for - awkward! - so if you go alone you might that bit a little hard / emotional.
Sorry again about the spotting.

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 17:12

Thanks M33R, DH would book it off if I wanted him to but it's just a gynae appointment so I'm just thinking might be ok alone. My friend is going to meet me straight after though, she has offered to come along but I said no need. But lunch afterwards with her will help.

lil1ady · 11/06/2014 17:47

I was told to take dh fwiw. but it was not gynae appt it was in the fertility clinic. I agree about the waiting room. that was weird!

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 18:12

I have to go to gynae for all the tests then they refer on to the fertility clinic after the tests have been completed. I will definately bring him for the fertility clinic part but thinking if just gynae stuff initially I don't mind going alone. I'm actually a bit weird like that, sometimes I like to deal and cope with things on my own but I know come the fertility part I will def want and need him there!

m33r · 11/06/2014 18:37

mama if they do your ovaries and it's not the best news - happened to my best friend - make sure your BFF is meeting you straight after or does come with you. Btw, the appt I'm referring to was at fertility clinic (or assisted conception service) so not sure if that's the same or not.

My DH wanted to kill himself when they told me to spread 'em and got out the scanner - to him just a giant stick with a condom on - so totally understand if DH gives it a miss!! :-0

... And also wear a skirt. More dignified.

maybug3 · 11/06/2014 20:19

Sorry mama. Was sending 'positive' thoughts but maybe that just helped the letter and appointment arrive instead. What lovely timing. Hope it makes this week bearable for you.

Dh phoned doctors but they wouldn't tell him anything over the phone not even why the 2nd test pack wasn't available. Just insisted he made an appointment for the doctor.

We fly to Crete on Saturday for a week so he made an appointment for our first Monday home. I think he realised I couldn't wait any longer.
Has to be bad news though doesn't it?!

Bad timing though as it now will hang over us for our first foreign holiday in 3 years which I was so looking forward to. I'll ov while we're away to so was planning a holiday full of dtd. I know I'm going to struggle now though knowing there's likely a problem.

Once we have dh results I'll also make appointment so I can understand my results better. Just hoping the no further action means there isn't a problem target than they're trying to save money!

So wishing I'd pushed my last GP more to start these tests. It's been over 2 years ttc. Will be hard to take to find out a simple sa could have got us having the right treatments/appointments/waiting lists a year ago...

Anyway here's to 10 days of trying not to think about it and 7 days of sun whilst clearly not thinking of anything but

Thanks for all your support.
X
