bushy glad you are feeling positive, what's next for you, are you waiting for 6 weeks for a scan? We didn't have bloods at our clinic either, just had another very long 2ww for a scan.

chloe glad your jabs/scan are going well. I had 2 put back but only one stuck. I went with their advice though as mine were only day 3s and they said best place for them was to be back in me!

Gosh barking time must be dragging for you! when are you testing? Keeping everything crossed for you! I had no symptoms either, in fact I was sure AF was coming a few days before test date.

Feather where are you headed on your hen? I would def pimp before you go, at least you will know one way or the other and you won't have to worry about over doing it alcohol wise. I pimped on Friday morning and wasted a bloody expensive test for the first time in aaages. Was BFN of course and AF showed up a few hours later so pretty pointless but I knew I'd be having a skinful over the weekend so I just wanted to be sure.

Hmm, so it seems to be a split opinion - some wait and some go for it! Will grab some tests this evening but genuinely think it'll be a bfn. Barking I'm totally with you on the early pimping. I always pimp daily from 9 dpo until af arrives. Usually spotting by 10dpo but always hopeful that could be implantation spotting. So feather if I were you I would have been pimping for a couple of days already. PIMP PIMP PIMP PIMP.

I would be tempted to get to your clinic or epu and get them to check progesterone levels incase you need supplements but then I am obsessed with supplements and think they are the answer to most things.

Sorry Rosie that you're having a tough time at present. Our relationship is starting to strain with the pressure of ttc also. DH is going to NZ at start of Feb 2015 for a year and this was our last month to conceive before he goes away. It is undecided as yet whether I will go with him. I certainly won't be going for the whole time anyway as I love my dog more than I love him and can't face leaving him

Hello, wow what a big life move funky, did you mean last time to ttc and get baby out before he leaves? What are you doing in the interim period? Bleeding and spotting def stayed away now-phew. Big clinic phoned me and said I shld be pg after 3 tests this w/e. They said to get an early scan for Friday via smaller clinic as I'll be 6 weeks and a day- gulp. Couldn't shed any light on weird white lump, said it could be mucus with a blood clot but def not common. Said they don't do blood tests as pg tests show whether you are pg or not and also you'd have to go back and have blood done day after day to see if levels were rising.Phoned my smaller clinic, using the big gun clinic they think you should scan me line. Started to feel a bit of a nuisance. Just wish I could speak to my good nurse without all this shit going through the secretary bit.Got a call back saying they've booked me in for Monday.. Dh is pissed off with this and thinks I should ring back and try to get Friday as I am free because it's half term. Think will try to do that. Hopefully they will be able to detect something by Friday but if no room will have to wait till Monday and invent more excuses to sneak out, well not to head as he knows but to my ta etc.

Sure someone in here who is sniffing said they feel really good. I did too, it feels like things are happening and you can give up the control to someone else,just feels positive.

chloe we managed to get to day 5 blastocyst so could only be one put in which bypassed the whole twin thing. It's def something to talk to your dh about as mine was totally anti the twin thing both because he didn't think we'd cope but also because of the much higher risks in pg and delivery to mother and children.

Bushy would you have the means to pay for a private scan in which case then be seen probably tomorrow?

The plan was for me to have a baby who would be at least a toddler by the time the year away arrived. I should have had a baby in March 2014 so that would have been ideal, as it would also have been with the baby who should be arriving in July! Flying when pregnant with thrombophilia would put me at too much risk really, though the consultant said after a pregnancy was estalished he thought it would be ok. I don't think I would chance it though. I'm confused about the whole thing now and about how things are going to work out. It makes my brain hurt when I think about it, so choosing not to do too much thinking at present! DH has to go as it's for work and he has a contract for the job now. The ideal solution is that he doesn't go, but that won't happen now!

Cor funky know what you mean about if you think of it too much it hurts your head. Life just doesn't tally with our plans does it.

Just scared myself with googling about early scans. Doesn't look like they'll see much at 6 weeks but suppose they can rescan. Maybe they'll be able to shed light on all the bleeding and weird lump. Any opinions on whether I push for friday( 6weeks 1 day) or wait for Monday ( 6 weeks 4 days) suppose won't make that much difference.

bushy when I went for my scan they calculated me at 6w3d and we saw a sac and flashing blob which the nurse told us was the heartbeat ??
