Funky it's only cd13 today so I hope it's not! Recently I ovulate between 12-14 but have been a little earlier before, this cycle would be day 9 or 10 latest but think I missed it on the opks. It's more like bright pink spotting that AF and I do always spot but had got that down to 10dpo. This would be the whole of my LP so far. I just hate not knowing what's going on.

Bushy love the ttc crown, it sounds so attractive Grin

winohhh · 07/05/2014 09:53

Lady, I agree with the others, 11dpo is too early to give up hope. Im really hoping this works out for you (selfishly hoping you lead the clusterdiff charge!!)

Sorry about the frustrating cycle beaky. I understand that frustration well. Do you temp? Opk's don't work well for me. I often get a positive opk about cd10 but don't ovulate, then get another about cd14-18 and do (according to temps)

Barking, congrats on AFs arrival, and on the official start of iui!

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/05/2014 10:45

Marking place so I'm here to cheer on the cluster diff
Lady - handholding

TheRainDrops · 07/05/2014 14:10

Any news yet hb?

Embarrassing but true: we both fell asleep on the sofa last night so there was no 6th round after all! Grin

tigerdog · 07/05/2014 14:30

I've really got the back to work blues today. Sad need to pull myself together. 6/7 dpo (didn't track this month) today and the enthusiasm and optimism I had at the start of the month is dwindling.

rain that did make me chuckle as that is usually me! I often pass out on the sofa! We had a bit of a dtd marathon this month - every day on holiday and in the days leading up to it! Being on holiday made it lovely and fun and relaxed though! Still not convinced that it will yield any results though....and yet people around me seem to be getting pg by accident! Grumph.

hb hope it's all going well!

HampshireBlues · 07/05/2014 16:18

Hi all, sorry been comatose on the sofa since getting home at lunchtime. Managed 11 that look ok and been flushed out so will see what happens overnight now. Thank you for the thoughts.

Not really read back as have concentration of a fish but hope everyone is ok and keeping everything crossed Lady. Hope first injection wasn't too bad Barking

TheRainDrops · 07/05/2014 16:26

hampshire blues can be the name of your football team then! Smile
Glad you've got your feet up and enjoying some r & r.

beakybeak · 07/05/2014 18:27

HB great news on 11! When will ET be then?

Rain I'm not surprised you both fell asleep after all the sexercise Grin

Tiger back to work blues are the worst, especially if you struggle normally with boredom. Sounds like you might be nicking rains crown for your efforts this month! Hopefully it will pay off!

Win I don't temp I can't bear the thought of adding something else in! But I rang the fx today and now have an appointment in the next couple of weeks yey! And dh's jizz sample was grand too. Wooo!

How are you doing Lady?

greatbigbushybeard · 07/05/2014 19:28

Well done hb. 11 is a good haul, I think it's what I got. See- my memory is even worse! I did write it all down. Take it easy, line up some movies and good book for tomorrow.

beaky doesn't sound like it's af...

rain nothing I like more than a sleep on the sofa!!

tiger sounds like you had a really good holiday. Lovely to get back to ourselves. Sorry work is poo, prob because you had such a nice holiday. Still only 2 days to go and it's the weekend! I've nearly done a 11 hour day today, signed in at 7.45 and signed out at 6.40. I've got a moderation next week so trying to get ready for that. Stil, on sofa now not doing anything but catching up with my ladies and waiting for dh to cook my tea... There is no hopeful or hungry emoticon!!

ladybunnikins · 07/05/2014 20:06

Bushy I'm also waiting for DH to make my tea, garlic chilli chicken hopefully! Hope you're doing OK.
Well done on the egg haul HB, hopefully the eggs and sperm are on their own DTD marathon now.
Good news on the FC appt Beaky, hopefully your IUI will be underway soon.
I've managed not to test today, can't face seeing a negative and going to work afterwards. We've decided to just assume the worst and go for the test at the FC. Still no OHSS symptoms.

greatbigbushybeard · 07/05/2014 20:41

lady why do you have to assume worst and go for test at clinic? With mine they have given me a pg test to use on OTD do you have to go there instead? Please don't lose the faith, I am sending you lots of positive vibes. Good work on the not peeing on the stick, you're one step closer to the crown.. I'm dusting off the bum bullets as speak!!

I've been fed now so feeling happier! Your dinner sounds v nice!

funkymonk · 07/05/2014 20:52

Well done HB. A good pile of eggs there.

Lady well done for not testing today. I don't think I could have stopped the pimping urge. Will you resist tomorrow as well? How long is your luteal phase usually?

Beaky I reckon it must have been ov bleeding. I am thinking mine on cycle day 9 must have been from a bit of rougher than usual just for fun sex from 2 days previous Blush.

My shag week has now commenced.

OP posts:
ladybunnikins · 07/05/2014 21:05

Funky my LP is usually fine, 13-14 days. I think the progesterone works for me though in terms of stopping the bleeding, I didn't bleed from the chemical until 2 days after stopping the progesterone, 21 days after EC.

Bushy our clinic makes us take a sample into the clinic and then they test it and give you the results. They also do a blood test and phone later with the results of that. I would rather assume the worst to prepare myself, I always did the same with exam results (but I was much better at exams than making a baby!)

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/05/2014 21:29

Well done on the eggs HB

RevoltingPeasant · 07/05/2014 22:05

Lady, I know what you mean about assuming the worst.... Also about being much better at exams Confused

DH on strict warning to take his shagpills starting Thurs. He has also not called the sodding FC yet to make an appt for jizz analysis. Ffs. We got the referral ball rolling in February, February ffs, why is this so hard? I have asked so many times and every day there is an excuse. I start feeling like it is some sort of power game or something.

Does your referral run out after a while if you haven't been arsed to get the tests done? Confused

Ffs I was crying last time I got AF, why can't he see this is serious! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ladybunnikins · 07/05/2014 22:08

RP that is rubbish, does he have to do his sample there? Is it performance anxiety?

RevoltingPeasant · 07/05/2014 22:15

No, he does it at home and drives over at pace.

I think it is anxiety but hell's bells, I have had two blood tests (hate needles) and am in for all kinds of humiliating dildobulletcams if we go ahead. I probably should not be so impatient but I am worried about the referral if we were offered it late Feb and effectively haven't taken it up after however many weeks.

Do they ever just cancel referrals? Confused

beakybeak · 07/05/2014 22:44

RP very frustrating for you. I don't think they understand what it's like for us sometimes -especially at the start of the referrals. On my initial letter to make an FC appointment it did say it would expire after so many weeks and I'd need to go back to GP for another referral, but it was ages though. Sorry I can't remember exactly though.

Lady I am sending you positive vibes, keeping fx for you.

greatbigbushybeard · 07/05/2014 23:19

I think they don't think the same way we do. Also it's something unpleasant so they don't want to do it, hence they avoid it. He probably does appreciate what you're doing too but he's just not told you. To them it's a big deal and it is annoying as we have to have infinitely more tests and organise round work etc and they moan about having to get up earlier to do one! Has he done many sa before? I found my dh got better the more he did. Also when I was injecting I would quietly take myself away to the kitchen and do it and didn't fuss, he later told me how proud he was of me.

I usually do yoga and haven't since ec as was worried it wouldn't be suitable. I rather randomly searched for pregnancy yoga, thinking if it's safe for pg it'll be safe for me, and found this:

m.youtube.com/watch?v=nxrT_DgEroQ

I've just had a go, only 10 mins but feel so much better, was starting to get stiff and achey.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 08/05/2014 05:55

Bushy, I'm a bit of a yoga geek so feel free to shot any questions about what to do/what not to do or if you are in London I can recommend some very good teachers!

lumen · 08/05/2014 06:10

RP my dh was exactly the same about his sa, seem to remember it taking him 3 mths to find time for it. He hasn't had to repeat as all normal. Hoping he does ok on EC day!

tigerdog · 08/05/2014 06:31

lady if only we just had to sit an exam in order to get a baby! It would probably weed out a few people shouldn't have kids too! Will be keeping everything crossed for you for Friday x

rp that is pants. It's not fair on you and he does need to understand thst. On the other hand you probs also need to reassure him that whatever the result is you'll deal with it together. It's a huge ego thing. My usually placid OH blew up when I suggested he could be doing more to improve his count etc ( it was good but there is always room for improvement) as he thought I was blaming him in some way when I wasn't at all, I was just asking him to do what I was already doing e.g drinking less, shelling out on vits etc!

I would be standing over him when he makes the call! My OH had the appointment made for him by the gp so didn't have that issue. He's lucky he doesn't have to do it at the FC!

Great news on the eggs hb!

bushy hope you manger to put your feet up after your long day!

Awoken early by the dog- she's not back into her routine post holiday either! Tired.

nolly3 · 08/05/2014 06:55

Interesting about your itu nurse lady. Makes sense though.hope the stress not too bad today
Congrats hb.on yr eggs!

Rp that it rubbish for.you. I mean these things are joint projects after all. I think it comes from fear of being the problem iyswim. Dp had to do one of his in the hospital where he works. Awkward! Apparently the fc staff get ftrained on.how to treat colleagues as it happens all the time. Weirdly Dp said, there was lots of gay porn to look at!

Well done wino and rain on epic shag rosters.

First day in new job yesterday. Apparently the head of department (am an academic) is known through rest of uni as 'psycho business kid' so that augers well.Hmm

nolly3 · 08/05/2014 07:08

Forgot to say London based yoga teacher tips would.be ace because.

lumen · 08/05/2014 07:47

tiger your comment on the exam made me chuckle. If it worked that way we would all have the babies we want and numerous people who should not be parents would not be Grin
