tigerdog · 17/05/2014 07:35

Yes, merk I'm with you: CLUSTERDIFF!

tigerdog · 17/05/2014 07:41

And good luck to barking and happy holidays rain.

Urgh need to drag myself out if bed...was awake between 5-6.30 but went back to sleep. Now I've got to finish cleaning the house, go shopping and prepare lunch for some friends and their two year old who are coming over. I bet that I get asked about our plans for starting a family.... Hmm

Have a lovely weekend all x

happylass · 17/05/2014 07:43

BecauseIsaidS0 · 17/05/2014 07:54

Sigh, there is a clusterdiff happening and what am I doing? Cleaning the poo of a puppy with an eye ulcer who has suddenly decided that my front room is a good place to do it.

BlindKitty · 17/05/2014 08:13

wino that's great news!!!!

And you know what they say about things happening in 3s...just saying Wink

Tallyra · 17/05/2014 08:28

HampshireBlues · 17/05/2014 08:36

Congratulations Wino

beakybeak · 17/05/2014 08:45

Eek! Win congratulations! I totally understand your worry, but it's not an inevitable conclusion. I will keep everything crossed for you for a sicky winlet.

Rain sorry it wasn't bfp. The spa and rum sounds amazing however, enjoy the lovely weather too!

Because hope your pup is ok!

Barking how did it go? Willing you to be ready for trigger now!

Lovely day here, watching my niece this morning so I'm going to take her to the park! Still have quite heavy bleeding so I think it is AF, just early. So glad I made the blood test appointment but means I won't get to do iui until next cycle now.

FeatherFeather11 · 17/05/2014 08:45

win woweeeeee!!!! Congratulations! Can totally understand you feeling worried, but do allow yourself to feel happy too if you can! So pleased for you.

rain sorry about the bfn. BUT have a brilliant holiday - get stuck into them rum cocktails!

barking hoping your body does what it needs to asap. Acu is so great, isn't it?

So I ovulated. Thursday pm/yesterday me thinks. Opk postitives, ewcm, bloaty, major mood swings. Dragged oh cave woman style to dtd. Poor lamb was exhausted after a mad week at work. Ovulating at all, let alone cd25 is an absolute miracle for me - considering last month it happened at cd46 and the month before that cd52. Progress! Yay!

Happy Saturday all!

FeatherFeather11 · 17/05/2014 08:47

beaky xpost. Sorry it's af. What cycle day did it arrive?

chloechloe · 17/05/2014 09:12

Thanks again everyone for welcoming me onto the thread. It´s rubbish that we all have to be here at all, but at least we´re in good company!

winohhh Huge congratulations! I can understand that you´re nervous, but my fingers are crossed for you that it all goes well.

funky My friend (from M/cr) had IVF in Liverpool and said the clinic was great and everything went pretty quickly and smoothly once she was referred. She also got a BFP on her first IVF round there.

bunny Belated congratulations! Did you have 100% ICSI or split with IVF? We are trying to decide what to do. I have PCO and DH has low motility so the RE has recommended full ICSI. But DH wants to try IVF (I think it´s a pride thing that they might just do the job on their own!) I would rather go for full ICSI though given that the odds are higher.

barking I´m so sorry you´re having such a hard time of it. My thoughts are with you, hope you have some better news today.

rain Sorry about your BFN, but I wishyou a great holiday - enjoy the rum cocktails! I once POASed in the airport - I had to get on a 10 hour flight when AF was overdue and figured I would drive myself mad not being able to knickerwatch!

lumen I hope your cold clears off in time for you to start sniffing! Let me know how you get on! It looks like my EC will be earlier than expected (end of May).

I had a bit of a curve ball yesterday. Was due to take 14 days of progesterone to induce my period so I could start IVF. I wasn´t expecting AF to turn up until the end of next week, but here she is after just 10 days of pills. Sooo, I´ll be stabbing myself from Sunday. Yikes! Had to make a mad dash to the chemist yesterday to pick up all of my injections. 800 EUR and I didn´t even take the full lot...

Rang up the clinic this morning to schedule my 7 day ultrasound and my dr is not in the clinic on the day I have to go in. I want to cry as I really like him as he´s so easy to get on with and always gives you loads of time to ask questions. Is that really stupid of me to be disappointed?

nolly3 · 17/05/2014 09:43

winothat is so exciting!!! Massive congratulations!! Enjoy your day xxx

Bad luck beaky, hope you're OK.

In my world... it's business time ;)

800 Euro Chloe? Strike a light. Tax deductible I hope ...?!

lumen · 17/05/2014 10:31

Fab news win. Off to do some gardening, will check in with everyone properly later. Enjoy the sunshine peeps.

greatbigbushybeard · 17/05/2014 10:41

Oh no, just tried to be fancy and have 2 tabs open so I could reply to everyone's messages and it's now flipping disappeared- grrr, in the style of the grumpy sloth from the goggle box adverts.

Yay for winooh!!!! Think we're all really excited for you but know what you mean about not being able to let yourself go and be excited about it. I think when you've been trying a long time like us and had lots of disappointments you feel scared to let go and believe it,you think it's a trick. I went for my walk yesterday and let myself have a little excited head time about it and then when I came home and found spotting I was gutted and thought that'll teach me for getting excited. Still, we're excited for you and echoing the CLUSTERDIFF, def things in 3's or more. In real life I'd always get a load of announcements so maybe we will be those annoying people this time!

chloe wowee what a lot of money. I've just had Ivf and my dh had motility and count problems. They said they would use icsi as a backup because of this. On the day dh's sa was actually a lot better but they said they'd do half and half and the icsi one was the successful one so don't dismiss it.

rain def get on the cocktails and hot tub!

Thanks because for the yin tip. Sorry the puppy is sick, what type is he?

Go feather with the ov.

Oh my life. Absolutely loved the get down to business video- sooo funny!!!

Went out for dinner last night, there were 3 pg ladies with big bumps, mine was moaning about not being able to drink or smoke when half the table went out for a smoke ( classy I know!)

chloechloe · 17/05/2014 11:07

nolly and bushy Crazy amount I know. Fortunately I´d checked online beforehand more or less how much it would cost, otherwise I would have had a heart attack in the chemist! I still need to collect one more Gonal F pen, which will be another 550 EUR. I figured I would wait until my scan though in case they reduce the dosage and I can buy less. Luckily my insurance will cover 80% of the meds so cannot complain.

bushy thanks for the tip. I think we will definitely do at least part ICSI, but I would rather inject all of them! We can decide on the day of EC though depending on the results.

Sounds like a fun dinner last night with the pregnant moaner! Reminds me of my ungrateful SIL (who never wanted kids but was given the option of baby or divorce...) She now has 2 kids and has no qualms in saying she felt nothing whatsoever for either child the whole time she was pregnant. Predictably she was a double instadiffer as well...

beakybeak · 17/05/2014 11:21

Wow feather that's amazing that ov has come forward so much! Do you think it's just the acupuncture? My AF began cd21. Boo.

chloe wowser 800 euro! Bloody hell. I understand what you mean about the dr, I would be the same and it makes sense when it's a stressful proceedure and he has a great, erm, beside manner. I suppose he has to have some inconvenient time off though!

Haha nolly glad your jizz dispenser is home!

Barking how did things go this morning?

FeatherFeather11 · 17/05/2014 11:45

beaky pretty sure - it's probs a combination of the acu and weight loss, but I honestly think that acupuncture has had a huge part to play. If you ever consider going, my advice would be to find someone who specialises in fertility acupuncture. Where are you based again? If it's London or near, I can pm you the details of my lady.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 17/05/2014 12:05

My litros squishy face pug.
