Thanks again everyone for welcoming me onto the thread. It´s rubbish that we all have to be here at all, but at least we´re in good company!
winohhh Huge congratulations! I can understand that you´re nervous, but my fingers are crossed for you that it all goes well.
funky My friend (from M/cr) had IVF in Liverpool and said the clinic was great and everything went pretty quickly and smoothly once she was referred. She also got a BFP on her first IVF round there.
bunny Belated congratulations! Did you have 100% ICSI or split with IVF? We are trying to decide what to do. I have PCO and DH has low motility so the RE has recommended full ICSI. But DH wants to try IVF (I think it´s a pride thing that they might just do the job on their own!) I would rather go for full ICSI though given that the odds are higher.
barking I´m so sorry you´re having such a hard time of it. My thoughts are with you, hope you have some better news today.
rain Sorry about your BFN, but I wishyou a great holiday - enjoy the rum cocktails! I once POASed in the airport - I had to get on a 10 hour flight when AF was overdue and figured I would drive myself mad not being able to knickerwatch!
lumen I hope your cold clears off in time for you to start sniffing! Let me know how you get on! It looks like my EC will be earlier than expected (end of May).
I had a bit of a curve ball yesterday. Was due to take 14 days of progesterone to induce my period so I could start IVF. I wasn´t expecting AF to turn up until the end of next week, but here she is after just 10 days of pills. Sooo, I´ll be stabbing myself from Sunday. Yikes! Had to make a mad dash to the chemist yesterday to pick up all of my injections. 800 EUR and I didn´t even take the full lot...
Rang up the clinic this morning to schedule my 7 day ultrasound and my dr is not in the clinic on the day I have to go in. I want to cry as I really like him as he´s so easy to get on with and always gives you loads of time to ask questions. Is that really stupid of me to be disappointed?
