Grr to badly behaved follie and oestrogen levels Barking. Hopefully it's just a temporary blip and it will be full steam ahead in a day or so. Have a couple of hours off and get back to work later.

Beaky I had a similar thing to you last weekend. AF usually eases it's way in for a day before being full on. This time AF started about 12 hours after sex, was bright red and (tmi) quite gushy. I'm putting it down to coincidence and maybe my polyp (I blame everything on my polyp though).

barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2014 14:16

beaky I sometimes get bright red blood before AF, very confusing.

I just called the results line. Oestrogen/estrogen still not up enough. Another jab tonight. Tomorrow will be the fifth consecutive day of being at the hospital shortly after 7.30am for a needle in the arm and a dildocam. I was really hoping for a weekend lie in Sad.

I'm trying not to think about going through this a second and third time if it doesn't work this cycle. It's officially messing up all the dates for this cycle now as well. I won't be able to go in on the test date as I'll be away on the residential. Pimping while away from DH and with 30 8/9 year olds is not how I want to find out whether I've got a bfp or not Angry.

BlindKitty · 16/05/2014 14:46

barking I didn't even get an appointment on otd! How many days after otd will you be on residential? Can you wait silly question? Just think, soon you won't have have any school trips you have to go on when you start your new job!

greatbigbushybeard · 16/05/2014 15:28

When I went to the loo earlier I noticed a little spotting ( v small brown mark) on my panty liner.. Is this normal after bfp? I have heard of spotting in early pg but it does worry me a little, esp after yesterday's eventual good news. Do I scare myself with google? Was good after walk and got down to work even though I keep wanting to check my knickers! Stomach feels funny too.

winohhh · 16/05/2014 15:52

Barking, sorry the oestrogen levels are still not right. Really hoping tomorrow brings good news!!

Bushy, from what I hear spotting is totally normal. It's a real head fuck. I spotted after my bfp, and although that didn't end well it got to 6 weeks and we saw a heartbeat, so it makes me think the spotting wasn't indicative of something wrong at that time. When the pregnancy ended just after 6 weeks you'd have thought there would have been spotting but there wasn't any, and we ended up having an erpc at 10 weeks. So there you go... It tells you nothing!! It doesn't stop the worry though!

Bunnygirlie · 16/05/2014 16:49

Hey feather still a long way for me! I'm only half way today.

Thanks beaky I'm not going to lie to you! getting pregnant is only the first hurdle, it's been a struggle. Wishing you lots of luck though!

bushy keeping fingers crossed for you, spotting is very common but doesn't stop the worrying.
I found that they counted egg collection as 2 weeks at my clinic.
I didn't join the chopper till after my 6w scan, and didn't really feel like a proper grad till my 12w scan. Lots of lovely advice though about symptoms etc as you real do worry if they are normal feelings if you know what I mean.
Ref yoga, I looked into special pregnancy yoga classes and most don't want you to start till after 12-14w, best to check. I'm about to start a class at 20w.

because hope your puppy is better soon! aren't they a worry. We lost a cat yesterday and I'm so upset.

Oh barking that's crappy. Damn our bodies not working like they're meant to. Big hugs and hoping tomorrow is better news.

TheRainDrops · 16/05/2014 17:13

barking chin up chick, you will get there. It must be incredibly frustrating when even in the hands of the professionals your body refuses to play ball but from what the others have said things don't sound too bad so try I know, I know not to get too down about it.

beaky phone the FC anyway if in doubt. My AF is always (since MC anyway) sudden and bright red, is that not normal?!?!

bushy so hard not to worry but I am sure it will be nothing. Brown = old. Chin up you too!!!

I am going to be a bit AWOL over the next week while we're on holibobs but will try to check in when I can to see how all our clusterdiffers are getting on!
My sister wants us to go to a (really nice) spa on Sunday but as the witch is not due till Monday I've bought a FRER just to rule myself out. Think of me POASing in Gatwick ladies tomorrow am!! That's surely a Berry first?! Wink

BlindKitty · 16/05/2014 17:19

bushy I had brown bleeding for about 10 days (about 17 ish dpo. I was so upset. At first I lay still for about 4 hours thinking it would help. The copter berries all reassured me it was normal but I wouldn't listen! I wasn't offered a beta test so just had to wait until my 6 week scan, when thankfully it was all fine. Know it's hard but try not to worry

happylass · 16/05/2014 18:26

Oh Barking I'm sorry to hear your follies aren't cooperating. FX that they sort themselves out before tomorrow. Take it easy this evening, you've been through a lot this week Thanks

Rain hope you have a fantastic holiday I'm very Envy

Nothing much happening here. I'm not even sure what cd I'm on. Since we started back TTC this was the first shag week that one or both of us hadn't been away for all or part of it. And this time I was ill Angry. So not even sure when I OVd as temps were all over the place. Oh well at least I'll be able to drink on my hen - silver lining and all that!

BecauseIsaidS0 · 16/05/2014 18:45

Bushy, my friend spotted for SIX MONTHS. It was so worrying, but her baby girl is now three years old. I'm going to be a pain and insist that you stay off the yoga though. At least off the vigorous classes. You could try yin yoga, there is a really good DVD and it's very effective at working the fascia.

Bunny, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's crazy how much you get to love these little monsters. He is home now, but I have a very long list of drops to put on his scratched eye.

To those who mentioned the Honestly Healthy book yes, I did recommend it. The raw Pad Thai, roasted aubergines with cashew pesto and quinoa and cranberry burgers are always in rotation over here!

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/05/2014 19:29

Bushy, just nipping in to say that I think practically ALL of the grads had brown spotting, and some (me included) had red bleeding too. Please head into the chopper thread if you have questions, everybody has been there and will be more than happy to answer/help/reassure you. Think Sid was the latest bfp and I think she had spotting too...
Anyway I remember the worry and panic. I would like to say it will pass but it will just change into worrying about something else. However for now try to relax and know that it is very normal, your embryo is burying into your lining which is what is causing the spotting - so its a good sign Grin

HampshireBlues · 16/05/2014 19:38

Barking sorry that you're not quite there yet, will send some berry vibes your way for the morning. Miserable that you have to be there so early!

Bushy hope the spotting settles down soon, like the others I reckon it's that embryo getting comfy.

Rain loving the idea of you POAS at Gatwick airport. Have a fab and relaxing time away.

TFIF and the sun is shining Grin

beakybeak · 16/05/2014 20:05

Gill that's exactly what's happened! But not even 12 hrs later. I so don't understand my body.

Barking I'm hoping the follie has a spurt tonight and all is perfect tomorrow.

Bushy I'd say keep away from Google but know how hard that is. I've heard so many people say about spotting and all being fine so fx it's not a problem for you.

Bunny so sorry to hear about your cat, loosing our fur babies is heartbreaking.

Rain I think usually that is normal! But I'm a spotter so it's not for me. I rang the FC and going for my bloods on Monday, I tried to explain why I was unsure to the nurse but I don't think she was really listening. Confused Have an amazing holiday and let us know how you get on poas in gatwick! Fx after your mararathon shagathon I am very hopeful.

Happy it only takes one! But also total sliver lining if you can drink on your hen! How's the wedding prep going?

Thanks for all the feedback berries, I really don't know what I'd do without you all Smile

winohhh · 16/05/2014 20:32

Think I just lost my post! Argh!

Rain, I'll be joining you tomorrow to poas. Only 12dpo tomorrow but going out for drinks so just want to check. My temps are still up (someone punch me in the face please!!)

lumen · 16/05/2014 20:44

Good luck to barking for tomorrow morning, will be waiting to see how you get on with fx.

Also good luck to win and rain with your poas tomorrow morning. In 2.5 yrs of trying I have stayed away from doing that, have always just waited for AF -she always bloody turned up- as I think I would find poas too stressful. So my first time will be at the end of my IVF.

Have a great holiday rain Grin

And I agree with hb, TFIF!

barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2014 20:48

Just a quick one as I'm exhausted and off to bed early. Acupuncture this evening was a welcome relaxation. She asked how I was feeling and said all the extra hormones from the injections could make you depressed. Makes sense I suppose. Decided not to push myself at circuit training and instead flopped on the couch all evening, definitely for the best. Hoping the needles helped spur my body on a little.

bushy spotting is totally normal, but very easy for us to say don't worry.

win and rain update tomorrow please on the poas!

I don't believe you're the first berry to pimp at an airport rain but can't remember who it was!

I injected myself in a car park while a friend pumped up my bike tyre before a ride this week. Then had to do another injection in the toilets at school with parents waiting outside. Very bizarre.

barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2014 20:52

Oh, and kitty in answer to your question it would be 14dpo when we left, and 17dpo when I could go into the clinic. I'm not sure whether the progesterone will delay af? Not sure when to expect it if the IUI hasn't worked given it would usually be 8dpo.

X post lumen thanks for the good luck and amen to the tfif - although as I haven't yet started my new job I do have a great pile of marking and planning to do this weekend Angry

nolly3 · 16/05/2014 22:01

Just a quickie to say good luck for Tom barking, fx it'll be your last early morning. hope spotting settles down bushy and beaky, fx. rain have a great break, hope you get some headspace from all this. And good luck wino and rain for poas day...bring on the cluster diff!

greatbigbushybeard · 16/05/2014 22:49

lumen I didn't poas ( apart from a brief but unhelpful stint with ov sticks) until OTD. We've been trying the same amount of time too- freaky! My dh thinks it's fun now though, reminds me of chandler in friends, when bored and out of work uses Monica's ov sticks to see if he was ovulating!! I thought it was funny that he bought my first ever pg test too. I'd gotten used to averting my eyes when walking down that aisle.

Have a lovely hol rain are you off somewhere nice?

barking sleep well. Go you doing your injections about town. I did do a bum bullet in the school toilet!! Lol!

Thanks for the reassurance re the spotting, bloody hope it doesn't continue for 6 mths ,your poor friend! It's so good to have a place to share. It'd be a lonely ttc journey without you ladies. I will try not to hog with pg related stuff as I don't want to upset anyone but don't know if I'm ready to chopper off (they all seem waaaaay more pg than me!! Need some friends to come with me!) so if you don't mind I'll stick around and cheer you all on.

Ooh because you are strict, do you mean stay off til 12 weeks? If I do go back I'm going to speak to my instructor and it would def be gentle. As I get sooo stiff are there some stretches or alternatives to yoga that I could do in between waiting to alleviate back pain? ( working all day with little darlings tends to knack er up the back!)

Good luck happy.

hb where are you in your Ivf? Is it transfer soon? I can't remember where you are in the cycle.

TheRainDrops · 17/05/2014 04:39

getting up early on Saturdays sucks!! POAS - bfn of course! Fancy spa and rum based cocktails, here I come!

Grin
BlindKitty · 17/05/2014 05:50

barking when was otd booked? They only gave me a crap test anyway ( showed the worst line), I'd just test yourself but yes, prog could delay af. Whether you wait for Dh or not is the question...don't think I could!

Oh and I had to inject in my works car park once and someone decided to stand right near my car and chat on her phone! Felt like a drug addict!

BecauseIsaidS0 · 17/05/2014 05:55

(medicine time for pup)

Bushy, look into yin yoga. The reason why a dynamic kind of yoga is not recommended is because you have to engage the pelvic floor really strongly, and it is feared that it could affect/interfere with the implantation of the embryo in the uterus. Of course, there are no studies to validate this because it would be unethical to run them, but it sounds reasonable enough to me. But yin yoga is very static and mostly about stretching the fascia, which should help with your back pain. Try that?

winohhh · 17/05/2014 07:14

Erm bfp.

I'm not really feeling excited, filled with dread that the inevitable will happen and it won't end well. There's such confusing info out there about high fsh (which I have) some saying it's linked to recurrent miscarriage. Sigh.

I'm taking heart in the fact we got pregnant again though. Having been told I probably couldn't i do find it hopeful we've managed it twice now, just need to find a sticky one!

On a more positive note... Clusterdiff!!!! Who's next?? Barking, hope your appointment has positive news this morning!!

BecauseIsaidS0 · 17/05/2014 07:17

winohhh!!! Ok, if you are not feeling too excited, I will for you Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 17/05/2014 07:31
