Lovely to see some old names on here! Thanks so much for all the well wishes. I would like to sit down at the laptop as write a proper post and probably will do but I just have a quick question for you from my phone.

I'm getting really dizzy spells and some breathlessness. I will call my GP for an appointment but I'm guessing it might be low iron, low BP and/or just one of those pregnancy things. However I've also read that progesterone can make you feel pretty dizzy etc. I'm 14 weeks and my protocol with mr s is to stay on suppositories until 16. For those who took progesterone did you have any such side effects and when did you come off?

Sorry for lack of personals. Will do better next time.

Ohh just looked on here to hear all the news !! Free Grin I wondered where everyone had gone. Congrats.. How old r u now do u mind me asking ? And how old is DS?
I'm ok 25 wks this week. Nothing much to report of interest. I still have no idea why my 7th pg is working out. 3 mc off treatment and 3 on it and this one half on it but much later ... Just think I got a good egg/ sperm match as they say. Am slightly worried about how I will feel once he is born as I don't want to go through 5 yrs of TTC again so hoping this one baby will be more than enough for us! Best of luck choccy with DD op too x

freelancegirl · 06/07/2014 17:02

Yay Duggs! 25 weeks is amazing - I remember thinking it was great to get up viability.

I'm in my 30s, I'm in my 30s, I am still in my damn 30s... For three more weeks. But I'm definitely still in my 30s Grin You are still a spring chicken - plenty of time for another one after this :)

Tumtimes1 · 06/07/2014 17:02

Hi Free - yeah I had dizziness at around 16 weeks (I stayed on progesterone until 18). However I never attributed the dizzy spell to this. After research online and noting my symptoms. Plus checking my fbc results on the numerous blood tests I self diagnosed low iron and b 12. So I added both to my array of vitamins and seemed to do the trick.

freelancegirl · 06/07/2014 17:05

DS will be 2 in about 10 days - I was 37 when I had him although it was a week before my 38th. Why do you ask, just thinking about the next one possibly? It took me 5 months to get pregnant with this one which I know is pretty good. Previously though I got pregnant more or less on the first cycle.

freelancegirl · 06/07/2014 17:07

Thanks Tum, I was thinking iron too but haven't looked up b12 will check that out. I don't eat meat so that probably doesn't help. Man, I'm not enjoying this pregnancy. It already feels so long.

Arianrhod · 07/07/2014 09:41

free If you do decide to take B12 take the methylcobalamin form, sublingual, as it's absorbed far better.

teamdozie · 09/07/2014 08:13

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is well!
Tum thank you so much for the advice on waters! It just so happened that's what it was!

Baby Esmé arrived yesterday morning via emergency section at the ripe old age of 31 weeks and 3 days! She is doing wonderfully in the nicu breathing all by herself!

Id like to thank you all for your support you have given me on this long journey to motherhood!

I won't be far (as I'll have a few weeks to fill my time before she comes home) so I'll keep you all posted on her progress!

Miracles do happen!

Xx

freelancegirl · 09/07/2014 09:34

teamdozie · 10/07/2014 06:33

Hi everyone
free , Tanny, mrsP, Tum Baking

Thank you so much! I can't quite believe I'm a mummy! It's all a bit surreal! As I'm not with her all the time it hasn't sunk in yet!

Basically when I asked on here about waters that's what had happened, they had started trickling out so Sunday am I called the midwife and they asked me to go in for a check up!
They decided to admit me although my cervix was closed and there was loads of water round the baby.

Monday at around 3.30 am my waters just went. I was told they would like baby to bake a bit longer (up to 34 weeks) but on Tuesday morning after several heart dips she decided to arrive early! I was rushed in for an emergency section under general!

But she is doing absolutely fine! And she can hopefully go home in 3-4 weeks!
Apologies for the long story!

The one thing this has taught me is " be prepared" hahah I thought I had a good few weeks ahead of me and now I have to rush and finish things! Lol!

baking how is little Faith?

Free I hope you are enjoying this pregnancy? Will you find out what you are having?

MrsP not long now for you is it!? And Tum how you doing?

And Tanny hope everything is good with you too!

Like I said on my last post! Miracles do happen and this just says that part or all of this treatment does work! Esmé and Faith and all the other babies are proof! Don't give up!!

Xxx

Hugs Team, I'm thinking of you x

Tumtimes1 · 14/07/2014 20:21

Hello all how are you?

team Lots of hugs - I really am so happy for you xxxx

Allis ok in my camp - I'm 32 weeks on Friday which seems crazy.

The weekend was surreal - had an actual baby shower organised by my close girlfriends - which always seemed like an impossibility and it was very over whelming. Everyone was so kind and generous. I couldn't help but bulb a little when opening little baby's clothes etc.
Yesterday we went for a 4d scan we booked months ago on group on. I have to say I didn't love it, the lady kept saying do you want more picture s and I was like that's quite enough thanks. Im sure the baby was like 'right f*ck off now and leave me alone' it was all a bit weird.
It was mad seeing her face, I thinks she's a beaut but she was rather squished so will see how she comes out. Haha.

In other news just one week to go until I'm finished at work. Yay!!

The baby is still breech and the placenta is low. I have a cardiologist app on 1st as I used to have a heart condition and I want to check that being induced is not going to have any impact heart wise. I hope my tiny hasn't inherited it either but only time will tell.

Hope everyone is well xx
