Feather, my AF was also due for my wedding day and in the end, it arrived one week early and I felt GREAT on the day. So I'm crossing my fingers for you and trying to send you some cycle timing luck your way.

AF made an appearance on Friday as expected, so no news from me other than, all systems having been deemed functional, I'm feeling chirpier than I had been for the last couple of weeks.

In the spirit of 'fuck this shit' and all the lovely berry holidays that have been happening, we're thinking of booking a holiday to some far flung destination, maybe Southeast Asia somewhere.. Maybe Thailand. Did any of you berries need vaccinations for your trips? Any thoughts about getting jabs while ttc, or in the 2ww? (See, I can't completely 'fuck this shit''!!!!)

Hello - can I join in please?

I'm 39 (how, how is that possible?) and DH and I have been TTC for three years. Some of that time we were trying harder than others and sometimes other life stuff just got in the way.

I was diagnosed with under active thyroid about 18 months ago and I am now taking Levothyroxine, which is great as I have loads more energy than before.

All blood test and SA analysis results look ok, but we still haven't had any bang for our buck, i.e. BFP.

I've got a HyCoSy booked on NHS for mid-May. Depending on what comes out of the HCS, then the next stop would be private IVF - or not. We don't qualify for NHS IVF.

It's all getting very serious all of a sudden and I think I need somewhere to talk about it with people who understand it all. At the moment it just rattles round my head too much.

After showing you all pictures of potential wedding dresses last month, I finally bought one two weeks ago and it's totally different to the pictures I posted! It's a very, very tight fitting number and I'm totally in love with it. Which makes it very ironic that this morning I got a very very very faint bfp on a frer. I'm not holding my breath, it could be an evap, it could turn out to be a chemical etc. But if it is a something then that dress won't be fitting me in 3 months time. I'm totally symptomless of course and wondering if it's all in my imagination.

OMG Otters!!!! Can you post a pic of the test? I have no experience of getting any sort of line but I am positive for you when was your AF due? Woohoo!

Welcome, wildflower, there's a few of us going down the IVF route. Are you a candidate for private IUI?
No embryo update today so must be still planned for Wednesday. The spa evening was lovely yesterday and even DH enjoyed it. Acupuncture this evening and a facial booked for tomorrow, it's all about relaxation at the moment! Now off to buy a pineapple to aid implantation (not evidence-based, purely google-based!)

ladybunnikins I don't know if we could have private IUI- not sure what you need in order to be suitable. I'm thinking that I will wait to get the results of the HCS and see what the consultant says. IVF seems like a big step which I'm not sure about.

And to those expecting AF on their wedding day, I had AF on my wedding day and it was really annoying but sort of fine. When we got to the hotel on our wedding night and I told DH that any action was postponed he said to cancel the wedding. Too late by then!

Thanks everyone. No pictures I'm afraid beaky - I threw out the test so I didn't drive myself insane squinting at it all day. I've just gone out and bought 4 more though , I'll do another tonight.
