The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

I hear you pip. Even Saturn has 'given birth' to a new moon ffs!

Pipbin · 17/04/2014 23:22

Exactly. Fucking planets can have sodding babies.

Gillster · 18/04/2014 00:30

I think the polyps are quite responsive to oestrogen. This is probably why one grew back so quickly whilst taking the IVF drugs. I think I must be prone to them though and I believe they are more prevalent with age (I am ancient).

Lady - 50 injections, ouch! I think I only injected for 10 days which was the benefit of short protocol although I did have to take 2 different drugs per day for most of that. I certainly had plenty of CM by the end too Easter Shock

The first injection is the worst Bushy, you'll be fine from now on. I found them a bit stingy but that could have been the alcohol swabs and the puncture marks. Might be a silly question but have you looked at the bottom of he box with all your syringes in it? I thought I didn't have any swabs but they were lurking in the bottom.

Sorry AF got you Tiger and that it's been pretty painful. Are you fairly active during the month? I find that if I've done plenty of exercise throughout the month then this helps with the cramping. I generally get pretty heavy periods but usually only need 2 paracetamol to get me through.

Good luck with the basting RP!

CD12 for me. I generally OV around CD19/20 but commenced shag week fortnight last night. I'm not going to do any OV testing but am aiming for every other day shagage. Feel exhausted just thinking about it!

Parsley2506 · 18/04/2014 08:28

pip/tiger GrinGrin - I caught myself feeling envious of a bloody OSPREY yesterday! It was in the paper, UK's oldest breeding Osprey, just had it's 70th egg..... FFS! Get a grip woman!

Right, off to play squash!

tigerdog · 18/04/2014 09:01

I'm dying here perhaps a slight exaggeration The worst af cramps ever and very upset stomach. I don't think 3 glasses of wine can be blamed for it all...

gil I'm fairly active in that I do yoga 2-3 times a week (one hot) and walk the dog and sometimes to work too so usually cover a couple of miles a day. I suffer with af pains usually but this is off the scale.

BoodleDoo · 18/04/2014 09:09

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to hear that people are jealous of ospreys and Saturn. I will add them to the list! Grin

Ospreys
Saturn
The moon
Painted sheep
BFP cars

You might need to be old skool berry to remember this...

happylass · 18/04/2014 09:23

Boodle I can't believe I've only just realised but my car number plate starts with AF. This is not a good sign! I'm planning on getting a new motor soon so definitely going to look for one with BFP in the reg!!
Pip grr to pg announcements from younger relatives.
Hello everyone else. Have a lovely Easter weekend Easter Smile

ladybunnikins · 18/04/2014 10:47

Pip Chelsea is mid-thirties and has been married for a while so I'm hoping she's not an instadiffer and may even have fertility treatment? Commiserations on the nephew GF pregnancy though, will that make you a great-aunt? Easter Shock

greatbigbushybeard · 18/04/2014 11:20

Ha ha to the jealousy of ospreys etc, I've got one. I was reading a reading test about a windmill cat who lives happily with the miller, that is until he meets a lady, gets married and boom all of a sudden he's making a cradle and the lady gas a big bump in the picture!!! I think I actually laughed at that one!

funky going to tell head after half term. Will keep quiet with others though.

tiger thanks for the heads up re looking at the bottom of the box for the swabs. Know exactly what you mean about those finger prick tests. My mum does them to test her blood sugar. She did one on me one morning and it really bloody hurt!!

GooseyD · 18/04/2014 11:58

Hey guys!

feather I'm doing ok thanks, 16w today but still suffering a bit with sickness. I know I shouldn't complain though.

When is your wedding? Very exciting, I love berry weddings as much as berry BFPs!

gill fingers crossed for your FUFC !

bushy congrats on starting the jabs, are you long or short protocol? So brave, I ended up having hubby do all my jabs.

Wow lady 50 jabs! Another brave one! I was lucky with short protocol and speedy eggs.

Sorry not to name check everyone, still thinking about you all and wishing you lots of luck Easter Smile

Pipbin · 18/04/2014 19:15

Yes I will be a great aunt. And his mum, my SIL will be a grandmother at 45!

HampshireBlues · 18/04/2014 19:57

Hi all, just popping in to say hi as phone died a couple of days ago. Will have a read back and post later but hope all on IVF are ok at the moment - still down-regging here but am a lot calmer, first scan on Tuesday and then onto stimming

FeatherFeather11 · 19/04/2014 06:34

Morning ladies,

Hope everyone is well and enjoyed their Good Friday! I'm up at the crack of dawn again, 13dpo, still twinging in my left side and too terrified to poas. I'm so scared of getting another ectopic bfp that I'm totally avoiding doing a test. Will wait till tomorrow when apparently af is due - I've built it up so much in my head this month that I could just be imagining it all. Gah! Wang me!

Hi, goosey! How are you? Where are you at these days?

Please could someone add me to the latest list? Mumsnet won't let me log in on iPad since The Change, so I'm on my phone.

Feather, 35, ttc since Sept 12. One tube and pcos. Clomid bfp after 6 rounds ended in ectopic Nov 13. Been exercising and having acu since Jan 14, HSG showed clear tube.
have ovulated twice on my own since. FC on hold for now.

FeatherFeather11 · 19/04/2014 06:35

hb sending piles of positivity your way!

FeatherFeather11 · 19/04/2014 10:18

I poased - bfn. Relieved in a way. Have a great weekend all.

ladybunnikins · 19/04/2014 12:26

Sorry, Feather, have a good weekend.

winohhh · 19/04/2014 16:40

AF got me. :(

Don't have huge weekend plans, but know it will involve lots of wine and chocolate!!

Feather, happy it wasn't an ectopic at least. What a head fuck it all is.

Parsley, did squash bring on AF? (Poas??)

Hey goosey!

Parsley2506 · 19/04/2014 17:28

The witch can suck it, hope you and feather are enjoying some indulgence this weekend wino.
Squash didn't start it but I still feel like it could be here any second, have that kind of heavy achy feeling and I've had lots of cm yesterday/today.
Going for a walk to a country pub for dinner and am now in a quandary about whether to Wine or not. I do have a stick to pee on, but I genuinely just think my cycle is out of whack this month after the ridiculously early peak on my CBFM (cd10 - today is cd26).

I think I will enjoy a glass of Wine - if there's no witch by Monday I will possibly POAS. Or, possibly procrastinate further and keep avoiding thinking about it. Hmm

FeatherFeather11 · 19/04/2014 17:55

Ah, win sorry to hear. Af is a bitch and you're right: it's all such a headfck isn't it. parsley* fingers crossed for you. OH taking me out for a posh dinner tonight so I plan on getting stuck into the Wine..may as well. Life's too short and all that. Chin chin ladies!

greatbigbushybeard · 19/04/2014 18:04

Haha parsley the witch can suck it!! Don't be in a quandary over your Wine, have one or two! it really doesn't matter, we've mentioned it not affecting things before on here anyway. Personally I think you can't go round denying yourself things, when our time comes to be pg we'll have a whole 9 mths of denying ourselves, even my Ivf nurse said there was nothing wrong with having a drink and said to keep it to 1-2 units a day is fine. I have actually been trying to follow this but have found it difficult wanting another glass, think it's the long w/e effect! Also stay away from the sticks, that way madness lies!!

Well I've been a good girly, I have pretty much done my school work and am now in the garden enjoying a cuppa and the sun, when it's not hiding behind a cloud. I have a Lindt Easter Smile which I am trying to hold out on til tomorrow. We will see how long that lasts!!

Does anyone else get that head in the sand feeling round pg people? I have basically avoided next door since I've found out she was pg. My dh has the same thing but in relation to the bloke's new car, dh was working away on his car when bloke next door come bounding back with his new motor and manual under his arm all keen to engage in conversation and show off his new motor and bless him, my dh kept his head resolutely in his bonnet!! Also an old school friend is having her little one christened in June and I've basically turned down the invite saying we're busy. Dh not fussed bout travelling a long way for it and I also thought if Ivf doesn't work I don't think it'll be the best place for me to go to.

hb thinking of you with your scan and then stimming. My scan was fine and I can reassure you that the 2nd jab is a lot easier. Dh even said he was proud of me last night bless him.

So it's Easter BBQ for us tomorrow and Easter tea, then Monday we're off to see our friends as it's their little boys birthday, got him a giant space hopper!! Yay!

feather sorry af is here but that means it's Wine o clock surely!!

ladybunnikins · 19/04/2014 18:52

I've just had a lovely afternoon making chocolate truffles, I can recommend it! Very relaxing, didn't think about IVF at all, now I want to do more experience days!
HB hope the scan goes well and you can start stimming, by the end of downregging I felt quite drained and was having hot flushes but once I started stimming I felt much better.
Enjoy the Wine, Wino, Feather and Parsley. (And the Brew Bushy!)

HampshireBlues · 19/04/2014 19:36

Thanks Lady & Bushy feeling pretty rubbish thus afternoon; not felt bad at all but have developed the mother of all headaches :(

Feather sorry AF got you, Parsley 1 glass won't hurt

Still chocolate tomorrow Easter Smile

funkymonk · 19/04/2014 21:28

Evening all. Sorry to those who have had their Easter weekend ruined by the rude arrival of af. I'm waiting for pre af spotting to arrive. 10dpo and bfn this morning.
Had a lovely night out with dh and 2 friends last night. 4 month wait for a table didn't disappoint. Lots of lovely wine.
lady is it Easter egg collection tomorrow?
