May it bring many, many more BFPs and some happy, healthy babies Smile

Why does he want to wait Odaat? Is 5 months going to make much difference; are you moving house or something, or do you think he is just putting it off and will try and put it off again? Maybe just suggest to him that it may take longer this time, (hopefully it really won't for you!) and that you aren't really trying, just not not trying!? These bloody men, it's not as if they have to be pregnant for 9 months!!

loves and mrs you are totally right, because DD happened so quickly I was expecting it to happen quickly again. I like your "tripping" analogy loves!! I do need to be brought back down to earth a bit; 10 months isn't so long and I am young and already have one DC so hopefully it will happen again. Its just the longer it goes on the easier it is to lose hope, I had a bad feeling when we started ttc#2 and with my weird all over the place cycles recently it does feel like there may be more of a problem at hand. I am just trying to enjoy life with DD, and as long as I don't think about it too much I can get through each day.

Good job on the race calling, time to crack open that bottle of wine now!!

Hope your appointment went ok mrs.

CD11 for me, started opks again this morning, and will attempt to dtd tonight, not that I'm 'trying' this month.....Hmm

Haha ginger good idea! Bless him he has been through the mill with dd too. Was a real shocker have a baby for us both! He is a good hands on dad - so he does his fair share and I think the sleepless nights terrify him haha.

I phoned him today stating i think I am pregnant and he seemed fine! Though I am unsure as tests keep saying different things!?

Odaat · 24/03/2014 17:11

I think he just wants it to be exciting amd fun. I we do it too early he is worried itll just be stressful as dd still rather young...

BetterNotBitter · 24/03/2014 17:12

Hi everyone.

Ooooh hungry not long now!! How's things with you? Yes, you can breastfeed on the implant, I got it in at my 6week check last time.

odaat I have no experience of ads sorry! Re your dh wanting to wait, that must be frustrating! I'm a massive believer in both partners needing to want to try 100% having seen how angry some of my friends have got at their dhs for non committal behaviour during TTC even though their dhs had wanted to wait! I think you need dh to be fully on board in terms of both enthusiasm and support. Just my opinion though!!

What day do you finish morerum?

Sorry about AF calling but well done on the 5k!! Spa sounds good!

How did the appt go today mrs?

I think loves is right ginger I think you set the expectation off last time. One of my friends took 5months with dc1 and this time she was devastated at the 5 month mark as she was sure it'd have happened by then, she's now in cycle 10 & totally soul destroyed. I think it's the knot knowing when it's going to happen. If you knew it was going to take x amount of months then the waiting wouldn't matter so much but it's the uncertainty. Hope you're ok.

morerummorefun · 24/03/2014 19:09

calling well done on your run and enjoy your spa sounds lovely after all that hard work!
better I finish up on thursday really looking forward to it im getting really sore and tired also heartburn has turned up a notch.

HungryHorace · 24/03/2014 19:17

Mrs, hope your appt went well.

Odaat, how frustrating. Let's hope you're pregnant already and take the decision away! :-)

Hope you're OK, Ginger.

Better, no, not long. One full day at work, then I'm working til 1.30-2.00 on Weds (I have to lose half an hour between 12-2, so I may as well leave rather than work for free!).

A rash came up on my next today. It's red, sore and itchy. Couldn't get a GP's appt today, so thinking the consultant may help on Weds. Do you think he will be ok with sorting that out?

How're you fling, Better? I've had some squirming today. How's the movement for you?

Engels, sorry about AF. But well done on the run. :-)

Not long now, morerum! How's your DH's business going?

Swede, hope you're ok and you've sorted everything.

Hi to anyone else!

CallingAllEngels · 24/03/2014 20:34

Aaaaaaah...I feel so relaxed

Wine and goats cheese are my non-pg perks right now Grin

morerummorefun · 24/03/2014 21:08

mmmmmmmm Calling so jealous, prosecco and brie are top of my list!
Hungry things are looking good for dh he has submitted a business plan to the job centre to see of they can help with funding for start up stuff - sign writing for his van, flyers new equipment and so on. should find out next week x

HungryHorace · 25/03/2014 07:11

Good luck to your husband, morerum. :-)

Better...check your PMs!

Today is the day I bled with DD, just keep expecting blood. Sigh.

mrsm22 · 25/03/2014 08:07

Good morning everyone,
My appointment went ok yesterday, it was very quick. I didn't get a scan, it's just a fairly routine blood test and an injection of Anti D which is for antibodies and we listened to baby's heartbeat, checked urine and blood pressure. It was all over very quickly. My DS went to my mum and dads and I went with DH to the hospital. I'm waiting for the home birth team to contact me. How's everyone else?
Hungry - is your scan on weds, what time? Lucky you , the 20 week is the exciting scan. Bet you can't wait. Re blood, I've been knicker watching all way through and still terrified even though I've got to 28 weeks. It was mainly after sex that I had bleeding when pregnant with DS so we've totally avoided it this time. Very hard to do but got to be better than a day in hospital. Not to say you can't bleed just anyway, it isn't always through sex so you just never know but fingers crossed for us both that we don't get any bleeding.
Hi Odaat - If you think you might already be pregnant when are you going to test? If you don't mind me asking , how old are you and DH? We like to share all on here. I have to agree with my good friend Better, I think you and DH both have to want to try and both feel ready as it's a big thing to go through so I think you both have to be 100 percent in it and agree on when is the right time to try. Having said that, it's not long if your DH wants to wait til the summer. I'm not sure if he has reasons. What was said at your doctors appointment about the antidepressants?
Hi Morerum - So last day for you at work on thurs! Woo! Bet you can't wait. What business is your DH trying to set up, is it something totally new? Sorry if I've missed details of that.
Calling - well done on your run!
I think Morerum you were talking about cravings - are you still having hard boiled eggs on toast? I can't seem to stop eating this week. I have a terrible craving for scotch pancakes toasted with butter and golden syrup! Can't get enough of them. And sweet things in general too. Terrible.
Hungry - is it just a small rash on your neck? I wouldn't worry about it being anything.
Hi Better - How are you feeling?
Ginger - glad you're enjoying your DD and trying not to think about TTC every day. We are all here to support you. I have everything crossed for you that it happens soon. You deserve it x

HungryHorace · 25/03/2014 08:25

Mrs, glad your appt went well.

My rash covers the whole front of neck. It's still raised and itchy but not as red today. I'll just keep taking Piriton.

My scan is at 2.40. So late!! But I won't go back to work, so that's a bonus!

And my bleeding wasn't after sex. It was due to a cervical ectropian (sore patch) and happened at 20+5 and 24 weeks last time. I was warned it may happen again. Fx not!

mrsm22 · 25/03/2014 08:57

Hi Hungry - Very excited for your scan tomorrow, will be thinking of you at 2.40pm! Are you going to get rash looked at? I'm sure it's nothing, probably more irritating than anything else. Fingers crossed no bleeding this time! It's so scary when it happens and we don't need that.

Odaat · 25/03/2014 18:47

Hi mrs! We are mid twenties :) I think I am pregnant! Doc said i am after looking at a test I did. But I have had negatives as well as positives over past coupla days so I am rather confused! Glad your scan went well and you had support there :) lovely to have caring dh's.

Odaat · 25/03/2014 18:48

Plus we haven't been trying - I have missed the odd pill though (accidentally I might add!)

mrsm22 · 25/03/2014 19:37

Hi Odaat - Congratulations if you think you are pregnant and so does the doctor! Have you tried one of those digital tests that tells you how many weeks you are? It might say 3 weeks plus for example. How far do you think you are?

Odaat · 25/03/2014 19:57

I tried a digital one after the docs and it said not pregnant!!!
But this morn i had 2 positives !

mrsm22 · 25/03/2014 20:30

How very strange! Does your DH know? Do you feel pregnant?

Odaat · 25/03/2014 20:33

I def feel pregnant. Dh is happy! Phew!
I am hoping rhe negatives tests are simply down to dip in my hcg levels??

mrsm22 · 25/03/2014 20:50

Who knows? I'm a bit confused though. Didn't you say you wanted to start TTC but that your DH wanted to wait but now you are already pregnant without trying?

mrsm22 · 25/03/2014 20:53

Anyway if you are and you and DH are both happy then that's great and it's happened very quickly for you which you wanted. I don't know how you'll work out how many weeks you are though. I had the same problem as I came off the pill and got pregnant with no period so I booked an early private scan, £80 but very worth it as they can tell you exactly how far you are. It was called an early reassurance scan.

Odaat · 25/03/2014 21:02

Haha- yes that is what has happened exacty mrs! So i am very lucky!!

I think the reason I am not shouting for joy right now is shock and also denial! I still feel confused by the negative tests, but the whole reason i tested was due to having preg symptoms! I didnt think i could be!

mrsm22 · 25/03/2014 21:06

I didn't think I could be either, it was almost too good to be true so I do know what you mean. I think you can tell yourself as well if you 'feel' pregnant which you do. Congratulations! How old is your DC again?

Odaat · 25/03/2014 21:15

Thanks :) she is 1 so the age gap is minimal!! I am a bit scared now ... But very grateful ... I just need to et oast the shock and start to really accept and believe it! Like you say, it just feels too good to be true

Odaat · 25/03/2014 21:16

Get past *

morerummorefun · 25/03/2014 21:39

odaat congratulations!Grin
mrs dh is setting up a landscaping business, so far things are looking very promising just hope it works out for him. he has actually knocked back a full time job in order to pursue this...
