May it bring many, many more BFPs and some happy, healthy babies Smile

Tested again this morning and it was the same...faint but there. Now I have to wait a few days, 3 at least, to get a stronger line. If it's stronger by Wed I'll register at mws. They told me to get in touch asap for my next pg after he mc in October and they'll try to book me in for an early scan. The next 3 weeks are going to go very slowly, but if I can get through them, I'll have a better chance of a sticky bean. I already feel a little nauseous...but maybe it's just because I know that I'm pg...my mind playing tricks on me!

morerummorefun · 18/04/2014 09:42

congratulations calling!
A line is a line and my line was almost invisible but here I am 32+5weeks! I can almost see the finishing line (how many times can I type line!)

SwedeAway · 18/04/2014 09:50

Engels so so happy for you. Fantastic news!!

Yes I am worried about his family and their reaction. But he is the one leaving me. They live in Cape Town, 15 hours drive from here and have never really been any support so I can't see how they would expect me to stay here on my own. Anyway I know my rights and they know I am a lawyer so if they want to fight I am ready. These are all his choices, not mine.

HungryHorace · 18/04/2014 11:13

Awwww, Engels, that's awesome news (I'm still waiting for a photo!). :-) I'm so pleased for you.

Swede, it must be so frustrating that this is none of your doing or your choice, especially when you're resident in his country.

I also think you're making the right decisions about your next steps. It'd be awful being trapped there post-birth for so long. Good luck with the next steps. xx

lovesmycake · 18/04/2014 15:29

Congratulations Engels what wonderful news :)

mrsm22 · 18/04/2014 20:05

Hi Engels - Congratulations ! That's wonderful news and about time we got another BFP on here. Really happy for you.
Hi Swede - I'm so sorry. You are remarkably strong and brave and I think if that's how your DH feels, you have no choice but to make plans for you and your babies. As hard as it must be and will be I think going home to Sweden is the right move. You will need your family and their support. I just hope your DH knows what he's throwing away, it sounds like he's had a bit of a breakdown or something. How can you just change your feelings like that when you are married and have a family? He should feel like he has everything, a lovely wife and beautiful child and one on the way. I just can't understand it. If any of us can do anything to help or support just let us know but I am sure I speak for all of us on here when I say that we are thinking of you.

morerummorefun · 18/04/2014 21:34

I second what mrs says swede. We are all here for you. xxThanks

mrsm22 · 18/04/2014 22:52

When's the wedding you're bridesmaid at? September?

mrsm22 · 20/04/2014 11:37

Congratulations Engels, my DS was born on 28th December! xx

CallingAllEngels · 20/04/2014 16:41

Wedding in early October, which would be at about 29 weeks. Dress that she's chosen will work with a bump (she knows we're ttc).

The next 8 weeks are going to go very S L O W L Y!

morerummorefun · 21/04/2014 07:53

Mrs im so sorry for your situation with your sister. Families can be so difficult, it's not fair in the kids its them who suffer out of everything
if your dh is happy to drop him off and your sis wont make an issue out that id prob let him play xx
Oops typo it was 7 weeks yday! As for nappies ive bought 2 big boxes of size 1 pampers them switched to asda and aldi nappies? Wasnt a fan of sainsbury nappies thought they felt hard. ive also got around 40 packs of wipes!

Kt1991 · 21/04/2014 15:46

Congrats engels good to have another BFP on the thread!
Sorry to hear about you and your DH swede hope that you can sort things out, but I'm sure you will be fine either way if you go back to your family, you will have support from them I'm sure :) and agree with mrs we are all here if you need a chat or anything! sometimes it's easier to talk to people on here than in RL!
wow not long to go for more and mrs what are you due dates again?
I have my 20week scan on thurs, getting nervous but excited!
We are going to choose a pushchair on Sunday, we have been looking at a few online and seem some good ones, so decided not to rush today, but see whether its boy/girl and then maybe go for a hint of colour :)
ginger sorry you had some bad news at the drs, hopefully they will be able to help you, if they do give you clomid, I think thats what it was called, I have read lots of successful stories :)
Hows everyone else doing? Have you all had a nice bank hols? We have had a busy few days seeing lots of family, which has been lovely. We also took DS to the cinema for the first time too, we were the only ones in there though! So he did keep moving to different seats, not too sure how he would be if there were anyone else in there, so will try go again soon :)

SwedeAway · 21/04/2014 16:25

Hello all. Will be 15 weeks tomorrow. For the past few days I am feeling flutterings, like someone is tickling me from the inside of the belly. Can this be the baby that I am feeling? It's been over 3 years since I was last pregnant so can't remember when I started feeling it last time? Can you share when it first started for you please.

mrsm22 · 21/04/2014 17:39

Hi Morerum - I went and bought the Avent newborn starter kit this morning and got it half price at £14! We've got lots of wipes. The Aldi mania nappies are great, I might go straight to them with new baby. We are just on our way hem from a playground in Ilkley. Had a nice Easter weekend, yesterday we went for a roast dinner at my mum and dads and my DS got lots of presents including a big yellow duck which he has not stopped carrying around with him since yesterday. I an really sad about me and my sister and in all honesty, I do miss her and wish things were different. It's nice to have your sister to talk to and share things with, I really miss that but I have no idea how to fix it now and I guess I feel she should be the one to try. She did buy my DS an Easter egg, a huge one and gave it to my mum and dad. I'm going to let him play with his cousins when they go to my mum and dads but he will be dropped off and picked up later. Maybe when I've had the baby she will try contact but I don't know.
Hi Kt - Gosh you're coming up to 20 weeks ! How are you feeling? My due date is 13th June. I would love to take my DS to the cinema but I think it would be impossible to keep him still. How old is your DS again? Good luck for your scan on thurs and don't forget to let us know. Will you find out what you're having?

morerummorefun · 21/04/2014 20:30

swede its great when you start to feel movements Wink I was about 14/15 weeks this time when I started to feel wee bubbly movements was shocked as I didn't feel dd move until about 23 weeks ( blaming the placenta for that )

HungryHorace · 21/04/2014 21:21

Swede, I felt DD from about 11 weeks and have felt this one from about 14-15 weeks (anterior placenta, so not felt as much or as often, until now, at 24 weeks).

So yep, that's your baby you can feel in there. :-)

keeponjuggling · 22/04/2014 12:30

Hi all, hope you had a lovely easter.

Swede, I'm so sorry to hear your news. I second what the others have said, and it sounds like getting back to Sweden before your baby arrives might be a little less stressful? I really hope your DH realises his mistake soon, he has so much to be thankful for. I felt movement quite early too, around 13 weeks, like little butterflies. So lovely to reach that stage.

Ginger I hope you are doing ok? Although you must be feeling dissapointed at the results I really hope it means you can move forward with getting the help you need to have DC 2. You have inspired me to make an appointment (cycle 16 and counting). Thanks

Congratulations Engels that's wonderful news whoop whoop Grin

more and mrs hope you're managing a little feet up time (not easy with little ones), exciting times.

Kt1991 how old is your DS? I've been considering a trip to the cinema but my DS is a real fidget - not sure we'd make it all the way to the end Hmm
