The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Oh tanny I'm so sorry Grin. There are no words. I assume they have done lots of tests at this stage?

sebsmummy1 · 27/02/2014 10:46

Oh FFS, thst should have been a sad face. Sorry Sad

Hate that we can't edit our posts!!!

mini28 · 27/02/2014 10:53

So sorry tanny Sad I'm gutted for you. Sending you unmn hugs.

Sorry for the bfn otters, fingers crossed it's just too early.

picklebum2011 · 27/02/2014 10:54

So very sorry Tanny, xxx

Parsley2506 · 27/02/2014 10:57

Ahhh tanny, I'm so very very sorry. I hope you're getting plenty of attention from the docs and they come up with some constructive ideas for you, although I know that won't mean much at this moment. They had you on lots of stuff for your SF didn't they?
You know we're all here whenever you need us, still wish we didn't have to be tho. Huge hug for you.

otters sometimes trying to stay positive is more painful than just accepting what your gut is telling you. I do hope you're proven wrong tho.

penguin swap cakes for creme eggs and I'm right there with you. Haven't been to the gym for a few weeks now, really need to get by tubby arse back out there.

donna involuntary TITH abstinence is pure torture so you have my wholehearted sympathies there. I drove myself near mad stressing over it the couple of cycles we ended up messing up for one reason or another. That said, the two we purposefully missed (one for HyCoSy and one just cos we needed a break) I actually quite enjoyed. Weird.

So im pretty sure this is AF girls.

I don't know what the EWCM was all about because I started bleeding two days later. But it's full flow bleeding and bright red so I have no reason to believe it's remnants of the mc, but I just don't know!

It also seems to be at the sane time I would expect AF to appear if the first day of red bleeding of my mc was cd1.

mini28 · 27/02/2014 11:19

Sorry that af got you sebs. I seem to remember reading something about some women getting an estrogen surge right before af which triggers some ewcm, and it being perfectly normal. Sorry, I can't remember where it was I read it now...not sure if that's helpful??

penguin I'm right there with you! I was a bit naughty yesterday and stuffed my face with goats cheese and pate for dinner. Then a round of pancakes stuffed with chocolate buttons and double cream. Damn it was good! Blush

I'm going to my first ever aqua aerobics class tonight to work it all off!

sebsmummy1 · 27/02/2014 11:22

Thanks mini. EWCM before AF is not normal for me but then this isn't a normal situation so at this point I guess anything could happen anywhere!! I am just desperate for something to make sense again xxxx

OttersPocket · 27/02/2014 11:33

Thanks for the wise words everyone. I'm a wreck today, crying over every little thing Blush and really not able to concentrate at work. Stupid bloody bastarding hormones Angry. We're seeing DPs BIL tonight, it's the first time I've seen him since him and SIL announced their pregnancy (the one with the same EDD as me). Yay hooray, can't wait to take about that Hmm

OttersPocket · 27/02/2014 11:34

My BIL, DPs brother I should say

sebsmummy1 · 27/02/2014 11:40

Otters your feelings are absolutely understandable and I would be feeling the same way. I just wish I had a Mohicans wand.

sebsmummy1 · 27/02/2014 11:40

Or of course a magic one Grin

OttersPocket · 27/02/2014 11:43

Hahahaaaa, a Mohicans wand Grin I want one of those! Thanks for making me laugh dude Smile

OttersPocket · 27/02/2014 11:44

And excuse the 'dude' in that sentence. Sometimes I slip up and my unconscious attempts to sound young and relevant make me sound like a right idiot!

sebsmummy1 · 27/02/2014 11:45

PMSL you can't beat a good autocorrect.

sebsmummy1 · 27/02/2014 11:47

I like to drop the dude bomb occasionally. Makes me sound a bit Radio One Smile

OttersPocket · 27/02/2014 11:50

I force myself to listen to Radio 1 in the car these days. To stay down with the kids yo? Wink

(I am much happier with Radio 2, Radio 4 and 6 Music)

sebsmummy1 · 27/02/2014 11:58

Now I like KissFM but I'm outside of Canbridge now and I can't pick it up. I'm not adverse to some ... ehem .... Local radio Smashy and Nicey FM

Metalhead · 27/02/2014 13:00

Hi tanny, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've only had the one mc so can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling. I hope you manage to get through it somehow.

Otters sorry for your BFN, but at 11dpo all is not lost! I didn't get my last BFP until 13dpo. Hope your visit to your BiL tonight goes ok and they don't spend the whole time talking about their pregnancy...

Not much to report here. My parents are staying with us at the moment so I've got a free babysitter (mum) and handyman (dad) at my disposal, which is lovely! Had a nice lie-in this morning until 10am while they got up with DD - heaven!

Parsley2506 · 27/02/2014 13:17

Mohicans wand! HA! Aren't smartphones amazing? What did we do for entertainment before the birth of autocorrect?

otters I am starting to think you're actually me, even down to the radio listening and age inappropriate use of the word 'dude' (I also am prone to Yo-ing people younger than me on IM at work). This is all very weird! Good luck with SIL. I am managing to only see mine very sporadically, last time was a few weeks ago and I couldn't make out a bump (she was wearing the weirdest outfit ever, like a toddlers cowgirl costume). Fake it till you make it my dear, one foot in front of the other, chin up tits out and all the rest of it!

sebs looking for logic in a wtf cycle is like looking for Jesus in a brothel. Hopefully your new cycle will make much more sense!

CorporeSarnie · 27/02/2014 13:48

Sorry to see new arrivals tanny, I hope they have offered recurrent MC support, I can't imagine what you've gone through.
otters last week I was in the same state, it ain't over 'til the fat witch sings. sebs I guess good news if the wtf cycle is over and you can move on with your 'journey'

GailLondon · 27/02/2014 14:58

I'm new to the thread.
Have one DS born April 2012, bfp with second pregnancy on January 1st, MC 5 days ago at 12 weeks. :(

Just deciding whether to go for it straight away or wait for one cycle

MissHobart · 27/02/2014 15:05

Me and RL friends use dude, dudette, Dood all the time Grin We're all over 33 Hmm

Blame our yoof and Bill & Ted! Grin

deuscat · 27/02/2014 16:08

tanny I'm so so sorry to hear your news. I hope you have lots of support in rl.

Gail welcome. So sorry for your loss. Hopefully you will find some support here with us. We're a friendly bunch.

Otters, sorry you're having a hard time. Hope the BIL visit goes as well as it can. It's really hard, I totally get it.

Sebs, I'm glad your wtf cycle is over. Onwards and upwards!!

For me, I'm approximately 5dpo I think. Just waiting, waiting, waiting!

Penguin13 · 27/02/2014 17:01

Gail I'm so sorry for your loss. Welcome to the thread, though we're never glad to have a new member you won't find a lovelier more supportive bunch.
