The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Hi girls. I'm afraid I'm out this cycle. Cervix now low and hard showing AF is imminent and cotton bud showing very light pink this evening, which will go darker red tomorrow and I'll get my period Monday. Disappointed but I'm ok.

The really good news is that my cycle has gone back to pre mc including my LP. I caught my LH surge just as it was starting on CD 12, I ovulate on CD13 and my luteal phase is 12 days. So ive just got to get that bloody egg fertilised.

I've looked back at the two cycles that resulted in pregnancy and in both DP and I had sex twice just before ovulation, morn/eve. So he is actually going to book some holiday for my next cycle and be home with me so we can have some morn and evening sex on the days preceding OV. Now that's dedication lol

Fingers crossed for everyone on their 2ww. Use me as an example and give the ICs a massive wide berth. Their false positives are ridiculous!! Xx

Sebs I'm so sorry it looks like AF is imminent. You've had a proper rollercoaster this cycle. Well done on the posifrickentivity though and it's great that your DP is on board soon to be literally so with your ttc efforts.

Thanks for all the fish, ladies. Still working on taking things as they come but now have a good example to follow. Good to see you just. Hope the ofsted inspection went well. Hope you manage to hang onto your zen attitude as it sounds like a great one.

Oh sebs sorry that it turning out that AF is imminent. I agree the cheap ICs should really be binned. Seem to cause more anxiety. Also if we only have the expensive ones, then we are less likely to test too early!
You are lucky!! Your DH is dedicated to the TTC effort.

penguin I'll fling a haddock at you. How many dpo are you? Hope the symptoms carry on...

broody great news that your cycle is sorting out! That's the first milestone.

sebs I hope you're alright lovely. Your DH sounds like a star, I am sure you'll not be long for this thread with those plans!

CD31 here, witch due tomorrow and I am fully expecting her now I think. Please can you all send a plea up to the stars that she stays away? Thanks! Wink Smile

I'm only 9dpo so way too early to test. Had a spot more browny cm this morning so feeling a bit more pessimistic as that's how AF always starts for me and I have no growing hurty boobs this time which was my primary symptom before. If witch has stayed away till Fri I'll test. unless I crack early

Really really crossing my fingers for you that a new Parsley shoot is sprouting as I type. You ain't out till the witch shows so long may she bugger off from here.

Cake I hope so too. The long road back to ttc from mc can be so frustrating. You will get there though. Your body (and you) have been through a lot so it can take some time.

This ttc business is a proper rollercoaster of emotions, isn't it? I am still waiting for a properly fully negative POAS result, then for good measure I also did an OPK stick yesterday which unsurprisingly was negative. I'll have that bucket of cod when you've finished with it, penguin!
Does anyone know anything at all about CoQ10 supplements? I found some stuff online which suggests it might help egg quality, but not sure it's proper research, the stuff I read was all researched on mice. Anyway it was enough to convince me clutches at straws so I bought some to try. I figured I need all the help I can get at my age!
parsley fx that the witch doesn't put in an appearance.

Hi all, hope you're having a good weekend. Just finished spin class, part of my attempt to lose my extra 10 pounds!!
Think I'm ov-ing today, really strong positive on opk. Parsley hoping its not AF but onwards and upwards if t is. Sebs that really sucks about the ic's, I will take note, have splashed out on some asda own brand for if I ever suspect I could get a bfp. Office lady, hope you get that negative soon.

Tried to buy some more angus castus in h&b yesterday and they didn't have the type I fought last time. Had some in a box but said 'not recommended for those trying to get pregnant'?! Slightly concerning and thought I'd share, anyone know anything about this? Maybe ill have to switch to b6 if my LP doesn't sort itself, 9 days is v short and still ov-ing lateish in cycle...

office I just bought done coq10 (100mg). As you say it's not proven but worth a try. From what I have read though most people are recommended a min of 200-400mg recommended by their doctors. So I am thinking maybe of taking two a day.

parsley fx for you. Hope AF doesn't arrive.

Parsley2506 · 23/03/2014 15:25

lacey unfortunately you can't get agnus castus in the dose needed from H&B anymore as it was recently upgraded from a food supplement to a medicine. I still have about a months worth left of my 400mg strength capsules but I think now you can only probably get it online (if that!)

Hey ladies!
Def in the midst of an anovulatory cycle! FFS! How long did it take everyone for their cycles to settle?? Mine are still misbehaving!
Started back on the agnus castus today, along with maca, evening primrose oil and my pregnacare! DH laughs and says that if someone told me to stick a Mars bar up my arse to get upduffed, I would... He's right!

Report
LaceyLee · 23/03/2014 16:35

Ah right thanks parsley, that's interesting that it's now classed as a medicine... Will see if amazon has any, or maybe it's best not to take it now? Don't know! Hehe English that's funny, my dh is getting quite in to the FTC thing, he does think I'm slightly unhinged (prob true!) but he's also started asking if I have done an opk or what's happened to my temps. So both getting slightly obsessive.
After my first mc my cycle took about 56 days....I somehow managed to get preg straight away again but then had a chemical. I do think it takes a while. I did see a gp though, because my 'leaflet' said AF should return in 4-6 weeks, so I went to see gp after that period passed. She did some bloods and just said everything was 'normal' but doubt that was accurate since she didn't know where I was in my cycle... Hope you get AF soon, it's so hard to be patient. I think taking the supplements and doing whatever you can does help you to feel like you are moving forward

Please feel free to tell me to man up!
I'm having a downer! I'm having a 'why me' day.
Just got off the phone to my lovely best friend who is due in the next two weeks, she knows about the MC and was lovely, but talk obviously was very baby focused.

Next weekend we are visiting friends, they have a gorgeous three month old(conceived first month of trying)put our visit off last time as it was the day after my MC and I just wouldn't have coped! I'm not altogether sure how I will cope next weekend!

On Thursday I am meeting another good friend for a drink (non alcholic) back in October, I told her I was thinking about coming off the pill, I explained time wasn't on my side, there could be a problem, it could take a long time etc. After thinking about all my reasons, she then decided she would stop putting off trying for a baby herself and is now 14 weeks pregnant without even having a period off the pill!

Another friend is 12 weeks pregnant, and provides constant Facebook updates, she bled early on in pregnancy but scans showed everything was just fine. I'm meeting her in two weeks, I'm sure for more scan pictures and things.

Am I normal, is it okay to be having a real 'why me' evening or am I slowing turning into a jealous old bat who will end up snarling at bumps and babies that surround me and must never again venture out?
Help!!!

Jones you are SO completely normal. That is an awful lot of pregnancies of people close to you, no wonder you are finding it difficult. I would find it particularly hard with a friend who decided to come off the pill after talking to me, especially with such a fast result. Feeling sad for what you lost is normal and healthy and doesn't make you a bad person. On a bad day I have been known to glower at random pregnant women (who seem to be wearing their 'baby on board' badges just to rub it in) Some days are harder than others but it does get easier with time. Sending you some very un mn hugs.

Jones, you're not alone, it's totally normal. I too know about a billion pregnant people and as lovely as they all are, some days it's so bloody hard to face them. My due date should've been within a few weeks of several of them, they know what's happened to me and have been amazing but sometimes I just feel so bloody sad and angry about it. Sorry I don't have any suggestions on coping, but tomorrow is another day and they won't all feel as shite as this one Flowers
