The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Oh no Parsley so sorry that the witch showed, I had everything crossed for you. What a horrible start to the week, especially with your colleagues announcement. Enjoy your Wine

Hi all, busy weekend in life and on here. Sorry your hopeful nipples led you on sebs, sneaky bastards.

Somehow I've managed to screw my dates up again, I thought I was cd13 and I don't tend to ov until cd17 so I didn't force put the moves on DH for TITH last night. But I'm actually cd15, had a big temp drop this morning and I'm really worried I'm ov'ing today. I did a CB ov stick yday and didn't get a smiley though, so I think I can't be? We dtd on Sat too, so that should be ok, and tonight...right?

So sorry for AF parsley, she really is the curse. Your colleague sounds like she was asking a lot getting you to proof-read that email, knowing about your mc. That's strong of you, hope today isn't too vile.

On Agnus Castus - apparently the tincture is better than the capsules, I get mine from Jan de Vries, it's the A Vogel stuff. I think it's still got the strength, but I've also read that all the capsules are too weak to work. I do add a couple of extra drops just in case.

And Jones - that list of pgs made me feel jealous and 'why me', so you're sure allowed to feel that way! You're like a fertile lodestone attracting pg ladies.

Sorry for anov cycle english, what a turd.

Nice to have some company in the 2ww Gail. Now that I know I have your POAS timing in my hands as well I will have to be extra strong Grin How are you feeling? If you need any fish sending your way I have plenty to spare....

How are you doing Sebs? It's been a particularly rough cycle for you I know.

Hi girls.

First off huge fingers crossed to Penguin and Gail. Really hope this is your cycle girls and massive commiserations to Parsley, nothing quite so depressing than coming to the end if the 2ww with BFPs or the witch. Fucking depressing.

I am not doing brilliantly to be honest. I really don't think my cycle has regulated at all. Before I got my period 26 days ago it started with a day of creamy yellow discharge, then a day of brown discharge then AF arrived full flow. Well today I seem to be doing the same thing, AF is on her way but slowly, and spotting before AF is a sign your hormones are out of whack.

I suspect it's going to take months to get things back on track again and yep I feel pretty horrendous Sad

Cross post. Sebs I'm so sorry you are feeling so low. Your body has been through a lot and it does take time to heal but I know how frustrating it can be. I really hope things settle down for you soon. In the meantime I am abandoning MN etiquette and sending you a massive hug.

Oh sorry sebs - though I think having a tube hoiked out is different, my body took ages to calm down. It's so frustrating, as penguin says, when you just want your body to play ball and get on with things. Be nice to yourself, maybe line up some fun activities to look forward to in the coming weeks. A big hug from me too, and an 'In sympathy that your hormones are on the blink' card.

English why do you think your cycle was anovolatory? Is it because the monitor never hit peak? If so that really is no evidence as I fell pregnant on a cycle where the monitor stuck at High all month.

Sebs That and the fact my temps have been all over the place, no clear temp shift and no definite positive on ic opks. I'm now 3 days 'late' with a bfn yesterday. It all just adds up to an anov. Angry

Sad Facebook pg announcement from a school friend. I've been spared it in the main as none of them have been trying until now. It really sucks, they haven't been married very long, it clearly wasn't difficult at all for them. Reunion in July, it's going to be crap. How's that for a posifrickintive reaction?! God, imagine if they knew. They did a really cool, imaginative announcement thing too, I'm just jealous in all kinds of ways.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking so keeping up with everyone but life has been hectic so I haven't posted much.

Sorry about all the bfns recently, it really is the suck. And Flowers Parsley - I really hope you can get somewhere with the GP. Time to get angry I think.

I've been really busy of late. We ripped out our kitchen a few weeks ago and have been in tradesman hell for the past fortnight. The kitchen fitter is here this week though so fx it's all done soon. It's tiring not having a kitchen for a month!

More excitingly, I got my engagement ring Grin Still not sure about when to actually get married, I keep thinking I'll put the decision off just one more month and another and another to see if I get that elusive bfp. I should just pick a date and to hell with being a preggo bride ha fucking ha.

Well it's 7dpo for me today and not a symptom in site. Tenderish (.)(.) but only when I poke them really hard. Trying failing not to think about it too much. I have a job interview at 5pm today which I should be doing work for just now, wish me luck Smile

Good luck Otters. Fingers crossed that a shiny new job and new BFP will helpfully add themselves to getting engaged and getting a fab new kitchen on the 'Big list of good things happening to Otters this year'.

Otters it really seems that, for me at least, no symptoms are much more positive than lots. So don't count yourself on the basis of feeling normal Grin. I would just go with planning the wedding, just charge ahead with things and lets hope a BFP comes along at a really I opportune moment (say day after the dress has been fitted and everything is paid for Wink

English, it's not totally uncommon to have the odd anovolatory cycle so it could happen to anyone. I am pretty much in the same situation with AF not appearing today and BFN. I think she is on her way though. Have you had a ferret about with a cotton bud or 10?

Report
sebsmummy1 · 24/03/2014 12:42

Seasides. Oh bless you lovely. I can totally understand how upsetting that is. It's not that any of us are jealous of these people, we just want our turn to be happy too. It's much more of a yearning to join the happy duffed brigade than it is a desire to see the world stop reproducing.

Parsley2506 · 24/03/2014 12:42

Thanks for the support lovely ladies. I am weirdly not upset about it at all, I think I dealt with all the emotions last week. I am however prepared to give my GP hell tomorrow otters!

sebs I'm not surprised you're feeling low, but have faith in your body. Your gorgeous DS is proof you CAN do this, and you will again!

English that is so frustrating, I forgot how many cycles you are post MC now, have you seen GP about it as yet?

penguin, gail and otters I am transferring all my wishful hoping to you guys now. We haven't had a BFP for so long now.

seasides get on it tonight. That's an order!

Right, I've cooked up a new thread for us here. Have at it!!

I'm on cycle 3 post mc. Not seen a doctor yet as they're all a bit blasé here. Looks like we'll be moving back to the uk by June so will go see the doctor then. By then it'll have been a year since I came off the pill. As they'll have no idea about the mc I'm tempted not to mention it and hope they'll do some tests for me. With a bit of luck I won't need to though

Parsley2506 · 24/03/2014 13:26
