Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

I've been writing myself a list Boodle. Any additions anyone can suggest are welcome!

• what tests have I had?
• can I please have the results?
• could I have someof the tests repeated given the randomness of my cycles post miscarriage?
• is there anything you can do about the early spotting/ short LP?
• could this be affecting my ability to sustain a pregnancy? Does it indicate a possible issue with the womb lining?
• would it be possible to take progesterone tablets in the event of another pregnancy?
• what is the timescale for IVF?
• can I have more clomid while I'm on the waiting list?

If any of these questions arw stupid please let me know as well as anything else I could be asking.

Barking, that sounds like an excellent list of questions...exactly the sort of things that I wanted to ask but always bottled when I got shot down for mentioning my luteal phase. I'm a gutless wonder!

I am also a guttless wonder when it comes to things like this. This is why I will be writing out the list and passing it to DH with strict instructions that he's to make sure we've asked all the questions before we leave! .

Good luck for the HSG Tiger. The thought of it is by far the worst part. The procedure itself is absolutely nothing to worry about.
Was hit by a pg announcement/12 week scan photo as soon as I got in to work today, from someone who started trying at the start of December . That's now 3 pg in work and one just given birth. Really think I'm starting to look/sound bitter when I congratulate people and I hate myself for it

Barking can you push them on what they think iVf will solve in your case? Eg if you are O-ing and all bloods etc ok then would they not want to look into the short LP early spotting before IVF in case that became a factor?

Urgh happy, that's bloody hard to deal with. WTAF is with these people who fall instantly? [jealous]

Thanks for the info Feather, it's tough knowing what to do. I'm keen to exhaust all the treatment options before ivf so I should probably just suck it up and go with the 5 more rounds of Clomid, followed by 6 rounds of Gonal-f injections. I'm scared that if ivf wasn't to work then I'd be out of options iyswim? They have no idea why I don't ovulate on my own. I don't have pcos, I'm not overweight, I'm generally bar too much wine pretty healthy. Stupid body.

Oh, barking so sorry. Be kind to yourself and wallow a bit but know that if you got pregnant before it can happen again. It's all bloody gutting but you have your appointment next week and you have to demand answers.

It's just not fair is it happy . I was sat at the hospital this morning and had a wobbly lip moment when lots of happy pg people walked past.

otters it is so frustrating not to have any answers. Have you tried acupuncture? I am about to start seeing a Zita West affliated lady who does electro-acupuncture. A friend of mine who wasn't getting pg, and wasn't ovulating every month saw her and bingo, she got pg not long after. She genuinely believes the the acupuncture kick started her body. I ovulate as far as all the tests can tell, so that isn't my issue, but I am hopeful that this will help.

Thanks for all the good luck wishes. Hsg this morning was fine, in and out in half an hour and into meetings by 11am. A bit painful afterwards but I get terrible af pains usually and it wasn't a patch on that, so a couple of ibuprofen sorted me out. No blockages, all fine and dandy, so good to rule that out at least.

Tiger I've been going to weekly acupuncture since my mc in November (she's also a Zita West trained person). If I'm being generous I could say that's it's brought ov forward a day or two but it's not gotten me upduffed again yet. I'll continue to go though, I find it very relaxing the the acupuncturist is a good listener. Glad the hsg went well, hopefully you'll benefit from it. It seems quite a few people get their bfp in the few months after it

Last time I used the Zita West itunes download but I found it a bit annoying after a while.
I had my AFC scan this morning (19, same as last time). They took FSH and E2, said if FSH is less than 10 it will be long cycle (last time 7), 10-15 short cycle and >15 cycle would be cancelled and I'd be looking at egg donation.
Cried again, I think the place just has too many memories. If we need a 3rd cycle we'll change clinics.

Boodle I'm a naturally pessimistic person, I always liked to assume I'd done badly in exams when waiting for results to prepare myself for the worst. I tried to stay positive during the last cycle but the disappointment was crushing. I also see other people's IVF success as having a negative effect on my chances of being the 1 in 3-4 people who are successful.

It is subconscious programming so you just hear music, and it's not too bad - I just play it on my commute to work and back. I have only used it for a month, so...it hasn't worked yet

rp I'm sorry . This one is hitting me much more than usual as well, I'm an emotional mess today. Sobbed on poor DH this morning and wobbling again now just before I've got to go into a meeting.

merk that definitely concerns me. I just can't accept my mc was simply an unlucky statistic when my cycles are so screwed up - I can't believe it's a coincidence. It's making me think about private testing if I don't get answers on Wednesday.

Barking I think you are right about private testing. I was thinking of you today randomly and was thinking that was what I'd do in your shoes as with only one cycle it would be so shit if you missed out because of something fixable.

This is concerning me too, as I had a 10 day LP this time round and that's happened a few times. Now that is of course not as short as some but it is well off 14 days.

I booked an appt with my GP for Tues to discuss my bloods. That cheered me up slightly as it's another step!

Tiger interesting about the acu. What do you think it might help with if not OV? What date is your HSG again?

Keeping everything crossed for you lady. Just looked in to the Zita West download you mentioned and I see she does one for getting diffed naturally. Not sure I could stay awake for the half hour it lasts though - usually I nod off as soon as I lie down!!
I'm generally a glass half full person but when it comes to TTC I now tell myself it hasn't worked each month as that way I can't be disappointed. Guess it's my way if coping with it all.

Great questions Barking. I think I'll do a list for my next appointment. It's such a short appointment for remembering everything you want to ask anyway.

I've just finished AF, lasts about a day and a half which I don't think can be great but who knows. I was really down this morning as it's just so difficult sometimes. Also while reading MN saw someone who has 4 and is trying for 5th! Cripes.

My FC haven't said much about short LP but when I explained I spot for between 5-7 days before AF she sent me for progesterone tests. Haven't seem FC since to discuss the result though. Will let you all know what they say re LP's after that.
