What exactly is egg sharing? I's it 2 different women's eggs sharing an incubator or is it actually sharing someone else's eggs?

You offer to share any eggs collected with a suitably matched recipient and you pay less / nothing for treatment. Sorry if I gave out the wrong info over age; our clinic didn't say we couldn't and I'm over 34.

Parsley, can I ask how much vitex you were/are taking and are you taking it through the whole cycle? I know what you mean about asking for what you want and then with ttc, not being able to do that. I think for me it's cause I don't have enough knowledge about it. So far my FC seem to have been pretty good though.

Apparently I have an ovarian cyst which has "bled into itself" (cause I know what that means?!). I was diagnosed with mild endometriosis about a yr and half ago and think it's linked. That's all she said and I have to wait for follow up to see what it means. Clearly I've been googling since getting back and that's not helped. I also poas this morning as 11dpo and bfn. Only did it as I was going for the dildocam and I didn't know if it would be a problem. Booo ??

Anywhoooooo, had day 21 progesterone test - or "prossterogone" as the receptionist called it! - and the phlebotomist mentioned that my previous bloods had come back normal. So I don't know exactly what they were testing for but looks like no red flags.

Am kind of suspecting the CD21 test will throw something up as my cycles are a little weird. We'll see!

beaky forgot to say, I am taking 400mg agnus castus - 2 x capsules twice a day. I take them from CD1 till OV, as I believe that's the recommended usage if ttc (shouldn't use if pg or potentially pg I think). My new post MC cycle is a few days longer, but that could be the pregnacare vits I am now taking as I've heard they can affect cycle length too, or it could be the vitex!

Beaky, if it makes you feel any better, I've had dildocam at 2 different hospitals now and both times the rooms had the lights dimmed. The one at my fertility clinic is practically rose tinted. If they would just play some Barry White, it'd be a veritable little love shack!

I'd take the pervy dildocam mood lighting any day over the room in which I had my HSG; massive, white and about 3000 watt lights. Awful. Truly.

All my dildocams have been in dimmed lighting - phew!

Not much to report here. I had a very frustrating week on trying to follow up on my polyp removal op. Have rung about 6 different numbers but either get put through to another number when some one answers or I end up leaving a message to which no one calls me back. Pretty pissed off with it all. The doctor said it would be about 8 weeks to get an op, 2.5 weeks have gone with no news so not hopeful on time frame. I'm also in an open plan office now so feel self conscious having to slope off into an office every time to make a call. Just feel completely in limbo at the moment.

gil can you ask your gp to also try and follow up on your behalf? They might be able to get an answer for you. I have found every dealing with our FC to be rubbish. I work for the nhs and so understand pretty well how hospitals work and yet that even helped when it comes to engaging with women's services.

Speaking of waiting for appointments, happy so frustrating that you have to wait for the appointment and then face a long waiting list. Our follow up isn't till May which feels like an age considering our first appointment was in December (and then cancelled by the FC and moved to Jan). Why does it have to take so long?! Can you write/complain to your mp? Wales might not have 18 week waiting time target but I'm fairly sure that they are obliged to deliver on 26 weeks waiting times.

The nearest FC to us does egg sharing up to 36 so think it might depend on the clinic. I wonder how it would feel to get a letter in 18 years time from someone born as a result of your eggs?! A friend of ours donated sperm several times and knows that there have been 12 offspring as a result - in about 12 years time they'll be able to contact him.

Interesting debate re vitex - bought some ages ago then didn't take it as freaked myself out with too much conflicting google evidence. Am thinking about taking it this cycle (as we're not trying) and seeing how I go. Hsg on Thursday morning - having done in between meetings so hoping it is over quickly and they can tell me there and then whether there are any issues.

Was out last night with pg friend who started trying at same time as us. Another friend didn't come out amid speculation that she also pg. That leaves only me in the group who will be childless if that is the case.

My temps appear to be crashing but only 7 dpo. :( :( :(

RP, I often get temperature dips around 6-7dpo. When not on clomid, it went back up for a couple of days then I would get AF. Whilst on clomid, it dipped, then went back up and stayed up until 13-14dpo. Silver lining: it doesn't necessarily mean AF is imminent. Grey cloud: it's not always an implantation dip either.
