Happy day barking! Gorgeous weather for a gorgeous lady. Thanks (that's meant to be your bouquet!)

CatsCantFlyFast · 22/02/2014 09:00

Have an amazing day barking x

HampshireBlues · 22/02/2014 09:06

Have an amazing day Barking I am so glad that the sun is shining for you - plenty of drugs and fluids and champagne to get you through the day.

HampshireBlues · 22/02/2014 09:16

Morning All,

So did POAS on Thursday and got a BFN - AF kicked in with a vengeance yesterday (I have never had so many different emotions going on simultaneously!). The appointment at the FC was pretty good and have a really good idea of how much this is going to cost (a little scary but worth it) and I think that DH now has an appreciation of exactly what I we have to go through. We are still thinking about starting in my April cycle so would find out in the midst of 'delivery' season if we were successful so I am trying to convince DH that we should start in March instead!

Welcome Beaky I hope that you find as much support here as I have found.

Boodle no to all 3 for me too - I do have a dog though and he is very cat like (an ex-racing greyhound).

Hope that you all have a good weekend and enjoy the sunshine Smile

tigerdog · 22/02/2014 10:30

Happy wedding day barking! X

I have an ex racing greyhound too hb and yes they are kind of cat like (mine would get on your lap if she wasn't so leggy!) such wonderful creatures! Glad the appt was good - why not start in March?

winohhh · 22/02/2014 16:57

Hope you've had/ are having an amazing day barking!!!

Welcome beaky!

I also have not cats (or dogs) and am not a teacher, although do have a birthday in feb, just turned 37, argh! The mmc was a great gift. :(

Sorry about af HB, sounds like the FC gave some clarity at least.

Afm, I thought I was doing ok until I ended up sobbing because the heating engineer couldn't come round when I wanted him to. As my dh wisely pointed out 'I'm not sure this is about the boiler'! Oh dear. Feel better for a cry though.

I'm on my phone but can add myself to the list tomorrow.

Winohhh, 37, ttc since march 2013, high fsh, low amh, mmc feb 2014, waiting for my cycle to return before trying again.

IamKuma · 22/02/2014 18:08

Barking I hope you are having a lovely wedding day!

I've been lurking again, not had time to type anything.... Finally having a lazy weekend though, sitting out this months 2ww. Not sure when AF is due, last four cycles have been 23, 27, 23, 23 days before that cycles were usually 26 days; CD 24 today and no sign of AF yet.....

Winohh really sorry to hear your news. I hope having a good cry has made you feel a bit better; it must be a horrible time. Thanks Are you taking any supplements to improve egg quality?

HB sorry about AF, but glad the FC appointment went OK, I also felt that taking DH along with me made him finally realise what is involved.

Beaky welcome! Smile

For the list: Kuma - 39, TTC 15 cycles, high FSH, low AMH, low ovarian reserve, approved for 1 NHS natural cycle IVF, first appointment beginning of April. Not a teacher, have neither a cat or dog and don't have a Jan/Feb/March birthday Wink

Parsley2506 · 22/02/2014 18:18

Congratulate me please - I have survived a Saturday afternoon during half term in IKEA without murdering anyone!!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, especially barking!

No to teaching, no to early birthday (June) but yes to cats - 2 x ungrateful rescue wretches (but we love them really!). Would love a greyhound, my brother has an ex racing one and it's the softest dog in the world! Smile

beakybeak · 22/02/2014 18:29

Hi Funky, HB, Kuma and Win, thanks for being so welcoming Grin

Barking, I hope you have had an amazing day!

HB boo to bfn/AF but sounds like a promising appointment at the FC, I hope you can convince your dh to go for March!

Win, I'm so sorry to hear of what you've been through recently. I hope your cycle returns quickly at least.

Parsley - well done! IKEA is hard enough never mind it being half term!

One of my old school friends just announced she is pg on fb, and it will be her 4th!

winohhh · 22/02/2014 18:35

Well done parsley! You're a braver woman than me!

Kuma, I've just started taking co enzyme q10, and have ordered some dhea (FC recommended). My acupuncturist also recommended extra folic acid, omega 3 fish oil, vit d. I stopped seeing my acupuncturist when pregnant, but may start again. Are you taking anything? I see we're in the same low amh high fsh position.

winohhh · 22/02/2014 18:39

Oh beaky, sorry about the Facebook announcement. Rubbish!! It doesn't seem like a day goes by at the moment when I don't get some kind of pregnancy announcement. And I swear there are more pregnant people out and about than normal!!

RevoltingPeasant · 22/02/2014 19:38

Flowers for barking

You old married matron, you Grin

Bunnygirlie · 22/02/2014 20:02

Evening y'all!

Welcome beaky - you will find this bunch a fabulous source of support and advice, they are AMAZING (I can say that as a founding Berry) Grin

HB I am so jealous of the greyhound, I have wanted one for ever, not sure our cats would be very impressed though.

Hello to everyone!

P.s. hurry up you lot and join me in the copter, it's too weird and scary with all those berries in their final trimester!

Thanks for all the lovely wishes. Had a really lovely day Smile .

Need a sausage wang though. (apologies if you've read this in the other place). We went to the pub with DP DH's cousins after the curry and a few of his mates were in there (not a coincidence, they knew we were heading there for a pint and thought they'd show up and say hello). With bump-that-would-be-same-as-mine. The one I've been avoiding since September. I can honestly say for the first time in I don't know how many months I didn't think about ttc all day. And then she walks over with her big bump and I'm suddenly sat in the pub in tears. On my wedding day. And feeling really guilty at the same time for crying when it's spoiling DH's day. But also really annoyed he told one of them that's where we'd be as he might have predicted this would happen (not that I said that to him as he wouldn't have thought it through like that). And now it's eating me up (the bump). And the fact that I'm even thinking about it when I had such a fantastic wedding day is killing me. So I'm going round in circles. Meanwhile he is snoring loudly next to me.... Hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow morning and only think of the rest of the day Grin . Please wang me in my sleep and I'll wake up full of berry power and all positive Grin

tigerdog · 23/02/2014 07:40

Just a gentle wang barking to nudge you in the direction of the future and to send you some positive vibes. Congratulations Mrs!

Parsley2506 · 23/02/2014 08:55

Sleeping wang right atcha barking, but really only because you asked for it, not because I think you need it.
I am not at all surprised you had that reaction, and I'm sure a lot of us would have had the same in your shoes BUT as tiger says, time to focus on your fabulous and 100% happy future as a newlywed with Mr Barking.
Forget bump woman, hers is not the bump you lost. If I can borrow my favourite motto from my other regular ttc thread (ttc after mc): chin up, tits out.

Have a bouquet you lovely old matron you! Thanks

winohhh · 23/02/2014 09:01

Oh barking, how shit. Did woman with bump know about your miscarriage? If so, I'm speechless at her insensitivity. I suspect there's no easy way to feel better, I'm dreading pregnancy announcements over the next couple of weeks for the same reason. I just keep trying to tell myself that this is our journey, and as unfair as it is, ours is not an easy path. Ours was not the way of the instadiffer and so I can't keep comparing myself to people like that or it would drive me crazy.

I'm glad you had a great day... Try and focus on that, and on dh (are you still giggling at calling each other husband and wife?) and your amazing future together, but don't be too hard on yourself. It's shit.

barkingtreefrog · 23/02/2014 09:25

Thanks tiger, parsley and win Smile Wasn't feeling great about it first thing when I woke up but it's wearing off now :-).
win yes she knows, and it can't have escaped her notice that I haven't turned up to the pub since they announced in September. Just reinforces her total lack of social skills and why I was right to give her a wide berth!

It was a lovely day, I just need to focus on the day, not the brief stop at the pub in the evening which wasn't really part of it Smile .
I don't feel married yet, not until we have our big party with all our friends next weekend (yesterday was just legal obligations and pleasing the family so we can do it our way next weekend with no family interference Grin ).
And it didn't rain all day!! So lucky after all the recent weather!! Grin

Now to be an instadiffer and announce my pg 12 weeks after our wedding Grin (as obviously people who don't know what's been happening will asume we only started trying after we got married Shock ).

barkingtreefrog · 23/02/2014 09:28

And I'm on cd13 and I took the clomid this cycle, you never know....

IamKuma · 23/02/2014 11:01

Barking Congratulations Mrs! Sorry about the bump, but you are right, just focus on the rest of your amazing day. Maybe you will look like you're an instadiffer - keep on the YBR!

winohhh I'm taking pretty much what you listed - pregnacare conception thing which has folic acid etc. in it, 1000mg of EFA (fish oil), 600mg of CoQ10 and have just received my order of DHEA to take at 75mg per day as instructed by FC. I'll start that with my next cycle next week.

Not such a nice day here today ... hope everyone has a nice Sunday.

winohhh · 23/02/2014 12:16

I love that as a motto parsley! Chin up, tits out!

Kuma, have you managed to find large dose tablets of co q10? Ive only found 100mg tablets so am facing taking 6 a day! Are you planning to take the dhea all at once or 25mg 3x a day? I hate taking all the tablets! It's like a constant reminder!

Barking, hope youre enjoying your first day as a married woman! Sending lots of 'instadiffer' vibes your way!

FeatherFeather11 · 23/02/2014 12:37

'Chin up, tits out' is the best thing I've heard in ages parsley - I will be stealing it! Wink

Now, Mrs Barking, I'm a bit late to the wang party, but as everyone has said: she sounds like an insensitive douche but you can't let it ruin what sounds like a wonderful day. I have everything crossed that you have a post-wedding instadiff! Congrats again. Flowers

The pineapple upside down cake went down a storm at yesterday's party, but, I am hugely, massively hungover today. I had way, way too much cava and my head feels like it's in a vice and I feel so sheepish and guilty for getting that pissed. Hmm No af yet. Still spotting.

funkymonk · 23/02/2014 13:57

Congrats Mrs B. Forget the insensitive bitch with the bump and focus on your day. I so hope you have a wedding instadiff! That would be fabulous!

Feather, do you think you ovulated this cycle? If so, when? Glad you had a super 70's bash.

Hope you're still coping well wino!

tigerdog · 23/02/2014 14:41

Don't beat yourself up over a few drinks feather. Embrace the hangover! I know where you're coming from though, I often feel guilty for having more than one drink. Doesn't always stop me though....

FeatherFeather11 · 23/02/2014 14:52

Funky I think I ovulated two weeks ago today (sun 9th/mon 10th) but my acupuncturist doesn't seem to think so according to my temps. I really believe I did - I bloody well felt it! How are you doing?

tiger glad I'm not alone! There is a lot of guilt attached to having a drink or two while this whole ttc/fc stuff goes on, but I find the more restrained I am, the more likely it is that I'll do what I did last night (ie drink everything possible) Hmm.

Has everyone else cut booze out totally or cut down?
