Part 2 this way!

We had 6 BFPs in just over a month on the first thread, so here's hoping the luck continues.

That's good, Windy. :-) It's your dad's loss in the end.

So...little amount of pink watery stuff today. Which is how it started on Saturday. C

Oops.

Confusing.

ATruth, how's your symptom spotting going?!

Stacks, I hope all went well yesterday.

Keepingthepeace · 05/11/2013 07:59

It is quite a bit hungry Smile but I'm also a bit older as well this time it's been nearly 9 years since I last ttc. I'm told this will have a factor on it. He ho and all that. So I am currently trying not to symptom spot at the moment and it's just so hard ! Does anyone else feel like this?

mrsm22 · 05/11/2013 08:22

Good morning all!
Hungry - Happy Birthday to you! I hope you have a lovely day whatever you do xxx I agree with Donna, give it a few days after any bleeding and poas. All you can do is keep testing until you get a BFP. Got the dentist at 11am, lovely but at least not back at work til Thursday.
Hi Windy - sorry about your dad. You know what thy say, thankfully you can pick your friends. You might be pleasantly surprised once you'd baby has arrived . How's it all going? Have you seen the midwife yet?

Stacks · 05/11/2013 08:40

Morning.

Welcome to the newbies, hope you get your bfps soon!

Hungry, it's all sounding rather suspicious. I hope you have a great birthday. We're off out for dinner tonight for our anniversary, first evening out together since DS was born. I must admit though I'd probably rather an early night, dinner isn't booked till 9pm, and I've been in bed by 9:30 the past few nights.

Mrs they'll want a pee sample for your first appointment, but you can maybe do it there. I never worked out how they expect you to pee in a test tube though!

Windy sorry about yor dads reaction. I'm really close to my dad, but when I told him about being pg with DS he didn't even seem to acknowledge it. I checked he'd heard and he just said yes. Still, he loves his grandchildren, just doesn't react well to pregnancy news! He's going to have a grandchild explosion next year, my DBro has one due in Jan, my DSis in March and us in June!

Scan went well yesterday, baby measuring at 6+2 and heartbeat seen :)

HungryHorace · 05/11/2013 08:47

How old are you, Peace? I took 5 months to conceive DD when I was 35, and I'm 37 today. Gulp! I don't know how fertile I was when younger though!

It's impossible to stay sane and patient when TTC. :-/

Thank you for the birthday wishes. :-) I really hope I get a BFP after this, but I need to remain cautious. It's very odd though, isn't it?

Yay for early scan and heartbeat, Stacks.

Boo to dentist, Mrs, but yay for day off tomorrow! :-)

Oh, and happy anniversary Stacks. That is a late meal though...rather you than me! We may go out at 5 ish for food today, depending on other stuff. :-)

Keepingthepeace · 05/11/2013 09:06

Keepingthepeace · 05/11/2013 09:07

Aged not fed. Grrr bloody auto correct.

HungryHorace · 05/11/2013 09:10

Ha ha! Autocorrect is a bitch!

30 is still young really. :-)

Tell me about it! I must say I don't feel it Wink

Windywinston · 05/11/2013 09:31

Ooh ooh, happy birthday Hungry and happy anniversary Stacks! I hope you both have great days.

Congratulations on a good scan too Stacks, it's wonderful and I'm quite jealous.

Thanks for all your support about my dad, you're all so lovely!

Mrs I have seen the m/w for 2 appointments now. I'm currently 11+5, and have my 12 wk scan on Monday! I'm feeling ok, very sick but not as much as with DD.

Unfortunately I'm on my way to see my Dr, as I woke up with a swollen face. I spoke to a friend who is a Dr and she said its probably nothing serious, but there's a small chance it's mumps and with the pregnancy it's best to be careful. I'm trying not to worry.

mrsm22 · 05/11/2013 09:43

How is 30 old? Whoever said that is really silly, most women have babies in their 30's and that's considered young! Sorry but I find it really annoying when people say they're getting on to be having children and their early 30's! Rant over.
Stacks -that's fantastic news about your scan . I was thinking about you all of yesterday. I'm so happy for you. And happy anniversary too. Have they predicted your due date ?
Windy - I will take a wee sample with me tomorrow to the mw. I hope she's nice, is yours?
Windy - sorry about your face, I hope it isn't mumps and am sure it's not. Wow you have your scan on Monday, how exciting! I'm so tired at the moment, I am in bed by 9 every night at the moment.

mrsm22 · 05/11/2013 09:47

Oh and Hungry - I think you should defo do something nice today for your bday with your DH and DD. X

HungryHorace · 05/11/2013 10:06

Windy, I hope you're ok. Best to get these things checked out.

Mrs, you must be exhausted, poor you. Do you remember being this tired with your DS?

If it stops raining we will go out. But we shall see.

Sadly I need to catch up on housework after being away last weekend. Boo!

OP posts:
mrsm22 · 05/11/2013 10:47

Hi Hungry - I feel exactly the same as when I was pregnant with my DS, just tired all the time and very hungry all the time. I wonder if I'm having another boy in that case. Were you tired when first pg with your DD? I've also got housework to do today and lots of washing x

HungryHorace · 05/11/2013 11:05

I'm not sure. My job involves a 90 minute commute each way and is very full on, so I was tired anyway! I don't recall feeling much more tired though I did drop off on the sofa most nights by 9.30. But I did that when I wasn't pregnant too!

It'll be interesting to compare pregnancies, won't it?

Who's finding out the sex? We didn't with DD. And if we do this time we won't tell anyone else.

Keepingthepeace · 05/11/2013 12:20

Mrsm2 30 is def not old I agree but I was told by my gp now I'm older then before it will take a bit longer. I think it's after 28 your fertility starts reducing slightly. No offence was ment to be caused. Sorry. Hmm

mrsm22 · 05/11/2013 13:48

Hi Keeping - sorry I wasn't meaning to be funny, it's just that 30 really is young. I'm just turned 32 and I'm the first of all my friends to start having babies. I don't know anyone under 3o who has had children actually. But anyway, forget it x for the record my DS will be 2 at the end if December and it took me 7 months from coming off the pill to conceive. I'm now maybe 7 or 8 weeks pregnant (not exactly sure til I see the midwife tomorrow) and I only came off the pill on 4th sept so it must have taken a couple of weeks. Anyway fingers crossed to everyone for more BFP's. How old is your DC Keeping?

Keepingthepeace · 05/11/2013 14:09

That's ok Smile my daughter is 10 and my son is 8 so been a while hence for me personally I am older, as I was so young with my others. It wasn't a dig at any one, glad the air is cleared.

mrsm22 · 05/11/2013 14:22

Hi Keeping - that has been a while for you to be starting again. Did you have good pregnancies both times and good birth experiences? I'm a little nervous as my birth experience wasn't wonderful and left me very scared. I'd like a home birth next time, if I'm allowed .

Keepingthepeace · 05/11/2013 14:45

It was oops but husband and I just kinda thought 1 more.. My daughter was long but straightforward, my sons was more complicated. My waters went at 28 weeks but delivered at 35 then a stint in scbu, hoping next time will be more easier. I would love a home birth but I'm not allowed as I'm classed as high risk. Bloody drs. But I understand why.

Nothing like an oops, Peace!

I'm starting to wonder if I'm just having the weirdest start to a period ever. The blood has come back when I wipe now, but isn't really on the pad. Talk about long winded. :-/
