We had 6 BFPs in just over a month on the first thread, so here's hoping the luck continues.

I must have been to the bathroom about 30 times today, checking for AF. Going slightly mad. Thankfully its Friday (and long weekend). Can't wait for some rest.

Thanks all for the kind thoughts. So far today I have had crampy abdo pain and some light spotting which has now settled. Swede, I am also going to the bathroom like a crazy lady. AF is due tomorrow/possibly Sunday so it could be an IB or the start of AF. I'm really thirsty too. Who knows what is going on!

It must have been quite something to go to Mandela's house today Swede.

Better, glad to hear it was something simple.

I have a child who's nap-resistant today. I think her teeth (to be) hurt and she's also snotty. I've got her down here with me playing on her mat. See if she can just relax and maybe drop off!

Monster sorry you got your bfn, it is probably still too early to tell though? I know it's annoying when people say that! But it's true! My DH had to remind me too that with DD I did a test that was bfn as I wanted to go out that night, then a few days later got my bfp!
Swede sorry you didn't get to POAS this morning, I was looking forward to hearing your results! But can completely understand how you woould forget at that hour of the morning/night. What timw do you finish work?
Hungry and ATruth I know it is rubbish waiting, but just look at how quickly Mrs' 20 week scan has come around, I'm sure time will fly for you both especially with al lthe festivities. Hope you start to feel a bit happier and sicker soon!!!
Kt I am the same with oneborn, I can't help but shed a tear when the babies are born, I feel so much more emotional since having DD! When will it stop, if ever!!Anyone else noticed this??

I know it's completely silly but I would quite like to start the new thread if no one minds, it's been so lucky for Mrs and Hungry and I am willing to take any chance I can get now for some extra luck!!!! Will keep a close eye on the number of messgaes.....

I've remembered that I made DH buy me an HPT at 6 weeks last time as I had no symptoms. Strong line and sickness began a week later. So I don't need to worry.

Lots of abdominal popping today. Odd!

2ww starts here. Dtd on the cards tonight. Early before ds wakes up! Last night he went to bed fine but then fell out of bed at 9.30 so ended up with us. Will have tojump on dh as soon as ds is asleep!

nap resistant toddler here too. Not only that but he decided to rip off his nappy, pull the poo out and smear it all over clothes, hands, bedroom floor..... AND he shat on the bathroom floor this morning! I must be crazy to want another one. It's been a hell of a day.

Shit. Hospital just called to say hcg is 14 which means we STILL can't ttc, which means this cycle is out. If I want to go to my best friend's wedding in the Uk next year we have to wait another 2 months to ttc and we'll be looking at a December baby at the earliest.

aaaragh...I could scream.

Lucy - yes early mornings but I finish around 4 most days (if no late meetings) so not too bad I guess.

Still no AF but have felt odd today so we'll see what happens during the night. Will report back tomorrow for sure.

Shit, Engels. How can that be? But you've already DTD haven't you? Could you get pregnant with a hcg level of 14?

Dh say sod it, let's just go for it. Itnis possible that I won't ov this mont...maybe the positive opks are because of lingering hcg? If I do get pg this month I will have to come clean with hospital.

they just want to make sure that everything leaves my system and there's no retained products/molar pg. Thing is, I know my body and it's ready to get going again.

Swede all sounding positive. Test tomorrow? Mandelas house must have been incredible. What a legend.
Atruth and hungry - I have had bad feeling from day one! I think u then convince yourself it's an omen! It's not just your mind playing games and also natural anxiety. I felt so releived after 9 week scan and now only 2 weeks later I'm nervous wreck about next weeks 12 week scan again!
Apparently dec is a very good
Month to get pg and the most common! So we def need some more xxx

I think you're right about the bad feeling being anxiety manifesting itself. It's a really stressful time growing a new little person!

What date is your 12 week scan again Toothpaste?

Definately true about anxiety. It just comes hand in hand with pregnancy. I'm pretty sure I had a bad feeling too for most of my early pregnancy! Told my DS tonight we have been trying, she had some horror stories and some equal happy stories, and did sort of agree we haven't been trying all that long really in the grand scheme.
Engels I am so sorry. It's all just shit and totally unfair that it is being dragged out for you for so long against your control. Life really can be so unfair sometimes. Poo everywhere sounds pretty unfair too!!! I too think you should just go for it.
Good luck with the POAS party tomoz ladies, very excited to hear the results and hope AF doesn't get you overnight. Lets start the new thread with some BFPs!!!! Here is the link anyway, see you all over there
