Part 2 this way!

We had 6 BFPs in just over a month on the first thread, so here's hoping the luck continues.

Maybe we should send out a search party for the AFs? Hopefully they won't turn up but BFPs will instead.
I'm planning on testing again on Thursday if no AF, it will be 13 days since DTD then and AF would be a week late. I used a lloyds pharmacy one today but will be getting some amazon ones in post in a day or 2. Realistically I think AF will turn up as it wasn't the right time of the month when we DTD.

Falliwalli77 · 25/11/2013 17:20

Thank Lucy, it's heavy but not the usual first day of pd which are and nothing like last month, I knew AF had arrived. :(
TTC is not as easy as I thought my first pg was the first month trying so I thought it would be the same and I didn't have signs until I was 12 weeks so I kept POAS as I didn't believe it. :)
My husband sounds a lot like yours the only emotion he shows is when football is on. Men!!
Well I am going to stay hopeful that this might be IB, I ope you don't see AF. How long have you been trying? This is my second month.

Falliwalli77 · 25/11/2013 17:28

Thanks hungry, I have looked online, I know you shouldn't but I think it maybe chemical pg or my period. Just seems strange to have had light spotting Saturday morning and then nothing till last night/ this morning.
I also feel frustrated as the week I was meant to ovulate was when me and my hubby were off work so were able to try more. Well if it's not IB then maybe Santa can put something in his stocking for me. :)

CallingAllEngels · 25/11/2013 17:44

Goodness knows where my AF is. 6 weeks post-mc and not a peep! Interested to see what happens with blood test on Thurs - praying hcg has taken a nose dive (I feel much better physically so guessing it has).

lucy I was so annoyed with DH on Sunday. He spent 4 hours sleeping on the sofa and then pootled off to bed at 8pm after dinner. I've told him that if he feels ill he should bugger off upstairs and get out of my way, otherwise I feel like he's in my way. Unfortunately prising my DH off the sofa is like trying unstick super glue!

Noyoucantwatchpeppapig · 25/11/2013 18:46

calling my DH also appears to need time not doing anything. It is irritating.
I'm quite glad I'm at work the next few days it will hopefully stop me obsessing about missing AF

lelly78 · 25/11/2013 20:39

Sorry to hear Lucy, hopefully just a shy one. And hungry I am joining the wtf club, had light af for a couple of days and now ewcm... Day 4...wtf?Hmm

I am lost Confused

Welcome and hi to the rest, I find it really hard to remember and reply in my phone... Sorry!

Monstersaurus · 25/11/2013 20:45

I've been away for a wee while, and was hopeful that there would be lots of BFPs to welcome me back. Instead the trend of weird/absent AFs continues. Confused My AF settled down after a wobbly start, we're now on a new month. Think I might start writing my letter to Santa asking for a BFP...

Fingers crossed that some of these odd AFs turn out to be IBs.

HungryHorace · 25/11/2013 21:24

You might as well POAS Lelly! See what happens. :-)

Monster, get writing your letter to Santa. This cycle is my last chance before next year, not just Christmas. God, it's depressing writing that. :-/

lelly78 · 25/11/2013 21:58

I might tomorrow but I am pretty sure I know the result!

HungryHorace · 25/11/2013 22:18

You've got more willpower than me!

Kt1991 · 25/11/2013 22:19

Calling all BFPS (and the horrible missing witches) were are you!? Hope whoever is expecting a BFP or waiting to see if AF is arriving that you all get some answers soon! Yes hungry we can be POAS buddies! I am going to try hold out until AF is late though so don't get my hopes up! Sorry yours was a bfn lucy but may be too early still. With DS I didn't get my positive until my AF was 2 weeks late! And we watch modern family Smile it's usually mine and DH's Sunday night programme we watch in bed on the mac! But there's been too many other programmes on that we've not caught up yet!Been watching it since it first came out we love it! Not like many of that American sitcoms.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 25/11/2013 22:39

Seriously, we need a new thread. The first was lucky. This is just weird. Hope you all get bfps soon.

I bought opks today. I think there's something kind of therapeutic about peeing on sticks -or watching the liquid make its way up the stick - so I figured I had nothing to lose even though I'm 99% certain that I know when im ov-ing.

Good luck to anyone poa-proper-s tomorrow Smile

mrsm22 · 26/11/2013 07:45

Morning everyone,
Well my suite arrive yesterday and really like it. Got some throws for the cats as well as don't trust one in particular. My DS's cold seems to be drying up but he still not wanting to eat a lot. Hopefully his appetite will slowly come back.
Hi Lucy - my DH can be a grumpy git at times too, I tell him to go out on his motorbike and let off some steam!
Glad you got some chores done.
Hi Falli -Lucy is right. I had some light bleeding on wiping on a Friday night and then nothing else til lots bleeding on the Monday night which was more than what I would call spotting and I am pregnant. There isn't always an explanation for bleeding and implantation bleeding isn't always textbook, everyone is different so you just never know.
Welcome NoYournot- how long have you been TTC?
Kitty - How are you?
Hungry - I think you did right keeping DD off swimming. It's do cold at the moment. I'm not working til thurs this week but think I will be staying in today with DS.
On a different note, has everyone done their Xmas shopping? It's 4 weeks tomorrow until Xmas day!

Metalhead · 26/11/2013 07:49

We should definitely start a missing AF thread! Still nothing here. No idea what's going on. I think we'll just have to go back to dtd in case I haven't actually ovulated yet...

Got pissed off with DH actually last night as he just went to sleep when we got to bed, even though it was early and we haven't done it since Friday. I keep telling him we need to make an effort and do it regularly and he's all 'oh yes that's fine with me', but it's always me having to make the first move and even then he can't be bothered sometimes! Bloody men!! Angry

Good luck to any poas-ers today! I will test again at the end of the week if nothing by then (which will be CD48).

Metalhead · 26/11/2013 07:50

Oh and hope all the poorly little ones get better soon!

BetterNotBitter · 26/11/2013 08:04

Morning everyone,

Can't imagine how sould destroying these wtf cycles must be for you all,ttc is bad enough ss it is.

Its such an odd thing cos there's no logic to it. On the cycle we dtd eod it was bfn and our bfp was the cycle we'd dtd 4/5 days before ovulation & 4 dsys after. It just doesnt make sense.

Pleased youre happy with your sofa mrs, good idea re throw. We have a dark throw on ours asvits a cream chenille one and the stains it would have on now without the throw would be awful!!

Yes mrs Christmas shopping is fully done for everyone except my husband! Also got most of LOs 2nd birthday presents for mid Jan. Pleased its all out of the way given that if this pregnancy's anything like the last one I'm due a good few weeks of sickness in the next month or two!

Ah engels I hope your blood test result is good, it must be so frustrating just waiting for your levels to drop, fingers crossed.

Is anyone poas today?

Sorry for missing loads off and for awful typos, I'm on my phone & its a nightmare!

HungryHorace · 26/11/2013 10:41

Morning!

I'm glad your DS is feeling better, mrs. DD's appetite is on the way back, I think, which is good.

Metalhead, I definitely think carrying on DTD is a good plan. It would seem that you either haven't OV or you OV'd late. If you OV you always have an AF unless pregnant. You may have AF without OV, but you may not. So yeah, get to it! And get your DH to buck his ideas up! :-)

Better, I hope you're not too sick. It may be completely different this time. Fx it is.

I'll be done for Christmas this week. Just got DH's birthday to buy for plus cards / wrap etc. Then it's the joy of wrapping.

Ah...DD has woken from her nap early. Suppose I should go and get her as she's showing no sign of going back to sleep. :-)

OP posts:

Still nothing here, despite ic sticks implying I might be ov I don't believe them anymore. Enjoying ds and not thinking about it too much, snagging with vague intent but only when we fancy it so we'll see.

No Christmas shopping done at all yet! This time last year ds was due in two and a half weeks so I was super organised but this year we're in the middle of finalising plans for the loft conversion etc so everything else has been utterly forgotten. Need to pull some fingers out I think.

noitsachicken · 26/11/2013 11:39

Hi,
Can I join in please?
We are going to start TTC no 2 next month, DS is 17 months, so I wanted to wait to be sure it was after his 2nd birthday and after Aug.
My periods only returned in July and stopped BF about 3 weeks ago.

I have forgotten everything! When should we try? What symptoms do I look for to indicate ovulation? Last time I tracked my temp but I don't think that would work as I can't lie quietly in bed to get an accurate reading!

mrsm22 · 26/11/2013 14:48

Hi Metal - that's men for you, they can he very annoying at times! Maybe your DH was just tired last night.
Hi Better - How far are you? It's so hard to keep track with so many of us on here. I'm 11 weeks and one day today and got my 12 week scan next tues! No sickness here at all so far, so hoping I've escaped that. How are you feeling?

mrsm22 · 26/11/2013 14:50

Hi Utopian - you are right taking a more laid back approach as I think that's when things tend to happen. I hope you all get BFP's soon, those of you who are still waiting!
Hi Noitsa - welcome to our club!

mrsm22 · 26/11/2013 14:51

Hi Noitsa - welcome to our club!

BetterNotBitter · 26/11/2013 15:07

Im very early mrs, around 5 weeks. No symptoms other than backache and being very hungry! Also struggling to stay awake past 9pm!

I'm finding I'm alot more worried about things this time round, with the first I didnt find out until around 8 weeks and I had loads of symptoms by then so the lack of them this time is making me freak out irrationally!

I think as well I've known people who've had very complicated pregnancies, some who've miscarried and others whove had stillborns so I think I'm alot less assured this time. Hoping that will esse as the weeks go on!

BetterNotBitter · 26/11/2013 15:09

I think you do right utopian. If you can manage not to obsess about it it makes for a much nicer life!

BetterNotBitter · 26/11/2013 15:09

And welcome noitsa!
