Part 2 this way!

We had 6 BFPs in just over a month on the first thread, so here's hoping the luck continues.

With temperatures, I was told last time that there's a huge difference between 39 an 40 degrees. 39 is bad but at 40 the internal organs struggle if 40 degrees is sustained.

I know most people would run to the out of hours service at 40, but I knew it was Sunday so we'd be there for 5hrs minimum, which would be no good for DD. we wrapped her in a blanket because she was shivering and gave her calpol and a bottle and waited. Within half an hour it had come down to 39, but I insisted on her sleeping with me all night. I didn't sleep a wink but she was totally fine by the early hours. I hate it when she has a temperature and I get so scared because she sleeps so well that she could just sleep through it getting worse and worse.
I hope all the other babies get better soon.
Mrs and Donna I hope you get your scan dates through soon, it's so exciting.

I was terrified of twins! Multiple births run in both our families and my dad is a twin so we had a high chance of it and the idea of multiples scares the crap out of me. DH was strangely disappointed that it's only one!

I hope these long cycles turn out to be BFPs xx

Thank you ATruth and Hungry but if I am not due AF for another 5 days, will poas work?

Last time poas was bfn until I was a fortnight late.....

My body is weird. It seems quite likely that my wee doesn't work right!

HungryHorace · 11/11/2013 22:11

It depends when it implants, Viking.

And given your past history with late BFPs, then who knows?! :-)

I'm hoping I'm following your lead and just having a reluctant BFP this cycle.

Windy, it's alright for DH to be upset, not like he has to carry the babies!!

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 11/11/2013 22:13

Ha. That's what we're hoping too. That our wee doesn't work right Grin

HungryHorace · 11/11/2013 22:22

Yes. Faulty wee FTW! :-)

VikingLady · 11/11/2013 22:24

Oh, but I would lurve twins! In theory..... Grin

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 11/11/2013 22:29

Me too on the twins. don't tell dh Grin

HungryHorace · 12/11/2013 07:41

I think twins would finish me off!

Good morning all and welcome to Viking,
Viking - how old is your DS or DD?
I think twins would be unlikely for me although I think my Nan's mum was a twin. It wouldn't scare me, I think it would be lovely but hard work. The birth is the same I believe as having one, usually one just comes a few mins or couple if hours before the other. I have always wanted two DC but if you get 3 then it's still nice. I'd never dress them the same, u don't know why people do that as they are individuals at the end of the day. My last day off this week sadly as back to work tomo. How is everyone?

HungryHorace · 12/11/2013 08:14

I'm never going to give birth naturally, so that part doesn't bother me. Some trusts like to do ELCS for twins anyway, I think. Or they offer it as an option for the mother as standard.

I would like to think I wouldn't dress them the same either. It's a bit odd and a shame for the babies.

Hello! We have just started TTC dc2, our son is nearly 8 months old. We were vvvvv lucky last time as we conceived the first time we dtd without protection! My only concern is that I had hyperemesis whilst pregnant with DC1 so chances are high it will happen again, anyone else here in the same boat?

HungryHorace · 12/11/2013 10:35

Hi MrsB :-) Let's hope you're lucky this time too.

No HG here, thankfully. Fingers crossed you avoid it too.

Mrsb999 · 12/11/2013 10:50

Thanks HungryHorace I only came of the mini pill a week or so ago, I'd had 2 periods within 3 weeks so think my cycles may be missed up at the moment so who knows when I'll be ovulating!!

HungryHorace · 12/11/2013 13:39

You've stolen my period then as it's failed to appear but no BFP either!

OP posts:
Mrsb999 · 12/11/2013 13:49

How late are you? All this is new to me as we were so lucky last time!

mrsm22 · 12/11/2013 15:19

Good afternoon all, how is everyone doing? Still waiting for my scan date x

HungryHorace · 12/11/2013 16:30

3-4 days, MrsB.

I had 7 days of spotting from 9 DPO, which I thought may be implantation. But who knows?!?!

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 12/11/2013 18:26

Evening all.
Welcome newcomers Grin

Still bafflement (did I just make up a word?) here. No AF but v.v.clear bfns. No symptoms either way. I did have af symptoms but they've gone Confused

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 12/11/2013 18:27

How's dd windy? And the other poorly dc?

HungryHorace · 12/11/2013 18:41

Is this the missing AF month, ATruth? Maybe they managed to meet at the weekend and are off on a jolly somewhere?!

I managed to leave a bag of paid for shopping at a self service til in Asda earlier. Dim.

I also have a headache, feel sick and very dizzy. Not good. :-/

How us everyone else and everyone's DCs?

OP posts:
ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 12/11/2013 18:59

Yeah. They're obviously off on a jolly. Hopefully they'll stay on one and send us a bfn instead of a post card.

HungryHorace · 12/11/2013 19:05

BFP??

OP posts:
ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 12/11/2013 19:09

Ha. Yes. Bfp.

VikingLady · 12/11/2013 19:14

mrsm DD is 20m. She still feeds a LOT though.... But my periods came back 7m ago and have been full on, with all my usual symptoms.

I think this is AF though, just a few days early. Pants.
