Okay that makes sense barking I understand, the waiting and not knowing is the hardest thing.

Thanks barking I vaguely remember the name...

What are you up to today barking Anything nice?

Report
BlindKitty · 28/09/2013 07:53

Wonder how frogcatcher is for that matter?!

yorkie have you done your first injection?

Report
yorkiebilb · 28/09/2013 08:00

Yep managed to get the needle in okay and it didn't hurt but then I couldn't push the plunger down for some reason so started panicking and shaking and then it started hurting. DH had to take over at that point. I was pretty rubbish! Blush I'm sure next one will be better. For all you ladies that end up doing this I'm sure it is very easy I just seem to make things more difficult for some reason - it's a skill I have!

Yes yorkie. Off to visit our wedding venue so we can see rooms and possibilities Smile . Will be a 3 hour drive though. Aiming to have left the house by 9....

Report
BlindKitty · 28/09/2013 08:12

yorkie it IS easy, you just need to take your time and relax. I rested the needle on my thigh and let it up in itself rather than jab it and it felt loads better that way.

barking what a lovely day for you and dh! Will you be sampling the menus/wine?

Report
RevoltingPeasant · 28/09/2013 08:36

Aw yorkie. Ouch! I would be rubbish at that too. Brew with lots of sugar for you!

Barking, I'm sorry. I think it is probably one of those things where friend's wife just didn't know what to say to you. She is trying not to be in your face. I know that doesn't really help though Confused

Enjoy wedding venue visit!!

I am about to head off to the hairdresser's and I am SO BORED of my carefully layered, shoulder-length, dullasfuck style that I am thinking of doing something radical. I may have told DH I'd come back with a Grade 1.....

I know it's easy as well kitty Blush

Oh barking what a lovely day planned and a great distraction. How exciting! Tell us all about it when you get back.

Thanks rb I have a decaf hazlenut latte to ease the pain and help my dented pride at my incompetence! For some reason I wanted to write incontinence - maybe a more appropriate word!

Ooh new hairstyle. How exciting! A new hairdo can do wonders or so gok wan says!

kitty it's not going to be that kind of wedding. We're hiring a youth hostel and doing it all ourselves. We'll be looking at the kitchen facilities and fridge space as we'll be cooking for 100!!

BlindKitty · 28/09/2013 09:24

Oh wow! That sounds amazing! Bet you'd have liked my cousins wedding. She got married in a Forrest (they live in Canada) and she hired a marque and a generator. She still wore a white dress but they all had trainers on! She decorated the trees with hanging jam jars with tea lights and asked her guests to bring tents so that everyone could stay over

Burnt fanjo threads - because there were two!! = hilarious.

Mind you, there was the time I made a curry from scratch with fresh chillies. Then later took my contacts out for the night. Next morning, put my contacts back in............

YEOUCH. I swear my eyeballs blistered. And it took me ages to figure out what had happened Hmm Blush

Yes, now the proud new owner of a chin-length graduated bob. Am also getting absolutely no work done............

Hello everyone, it's day 5 on downregging injections and I thought I'd escaped side effects but today I've been incredibly moody, like PMT on steroids. This morning I thought it was just because a surgeon was pissing me off but this afternoon I've shouted at DH and told him to fuck off because he wanted to go out for indian food this evening. Now out shopping and all I can see is annoying babies/children Angry
I'm hoping a gym session will put me in a better mood!

lady & pip !!! sounds like you are nearly under the duvet of doom! Come out to the sofa of pity and have some Cake I have lots and lots!

Been layzing in bed all morning getting back to 'normal' after nights. Shouls have been priming and painting the skirting boards this afternoon but that was dull so have decided to 'up-cycle' an old cupboard so sanded and primed that instead. Bought some teal paint and took/stole a very large sample of wallpaper from B&Q yesterday for the door and drawer fronts. MUST DO THE SKIRTING TOMORROW!!!

Also been feeling sicky on and off all day, bloody nights!

Hope your daytrip has gone well barking x

I am actually under a duvet now, needed to get away from DH, he's just told me that his dad is coming to stay for a weekend in a few weeks, which will be right in the middle of IVF but he's still refusing to tell him about the IVF. Going to sulk under here for half an hour until Strictly starts Smile

Striiiiictly! Yaaay! Dribbled all down myself over Ben already.

Evening, by the way! Bunny, my god that cheese thread makes me cross my legs so tightly. Horrendous!

Pip, sorry for the crappy instadiffing facebook friend. Grrrrr.

Do you know what I've just realised? My 'everything sucks' attitude in the stats is a bit unclear, when I say 'people having babies suck', I of course only mean non-Berries, so I'm going to change it. I'm also going to pop Charming on as she never got added from her request up the top of the thread! Smile

The updated list:

Barking - 34, ttc 21 months, bfp on clomid in aug, mc in sept. Hoping AF or bfp isn't delayed so we can start back on the clomid asap

I have emerged from the DOD and I'm ensconced on the sofa, watching strictly while DH makes dinner!
Foody it is DH's birthday that weekend and he's already booked flights. I think I will end up telling his dad about the IVF myself, I don't see how we'll be able to hide it around that time. I always get wound up when he comes to visit anyway so with my mardy drugs I'll be even worse!
Bunny I was dreading telling my mum, then I told her and my sister had already told her anyway!
Boodle I want a baby with rose petal nappies!
