  1. TTC #1 for 3 years (managed it when not trying 6 yrs ago but MC'd about 2 days after BFP). Cleared out "spare" room in hope that feng shui-like I was making room for a baby. But filled it up again with clothes. We went to view a larger house which I really liked but was quite large and I thought if it doesn't happen how would I feel about the empty rooms, so we didn't bother. Other than that not made any changes. I've taken up an extreme sport, does that count?

Welcome to the thread flop Is it extreme skateboarding?

bunny I've told my boss too. I've had that many hospital appts and blood tests I had to explain to him what was going on. He's been very lovely about it all.

Just saw cherry answering someone's question about high fsh on another thread. She said they're still on the waiting list for DE IVF. Hope she's okay and she doesn't have to wait much longer.

Progesterone was 31 kitty so I think that's good. I think I've resigned myself to the fact that this is going to happen naturally. Just had some personal training and now think it's time for a sausage buttie!

bunny I'm sorry I think I started the whole 'brave to tell your boss thing'. Don't think you're crazy. I just don't have that relationship with my own boss. It's good it's out in the open

Hello all, just popping in to say hello on the new thread: fab name btw :)
I'm kind of dipping in and out in the background at the mo as OH and I are still TTC au naturel for now (Glycaemic loading diet for both and acupuncture for me, along with a few moonstones/crystals thrown in for good measure - a little sceptical on the crystals but anythings worth a try!). No BFP yet but my cycle did increase by a day last month (to what I was used to pre-pill) and OH and I are both feeling good, healthier and OH is losing quite a bit of weight. In the middle of the 2ww so we'll wait and see. Sending positive crystal energy vibes to all those on the ttc journey ;)

Snowlily - 33, ttc Dec'12, going au naturelle with GL diet, acupuncture & moonstones. AF due 4/10.

Hey flop I wish I was brave enough for an extreme sport. Really keen to find out what you've taken up!

Bunny I am really impressed you've told your boss. Hopefully it'll reduce stress a wee bit.

Hey snowlily would be interested to hear what your eating plan involves. My DH knows he could do with losing a wee bit but he's not keen on a diet per se... He reckons the minute he thinks he's being restricted he rebels & heads to the chippie!

I'm having a really down day. Called doc for blood test results; all normal. I asked what normal means for HcG, she didn't know - google has been more helpful. So no further forward. I'm on CD75 (!) with lower left abdominal pain that comes and goes, nausea that comes and goes, raised temp... But nothing awry!

Booked in for an appt to discuss. Earliest they could offer was 25th October so now a three week wait; any suggestions on what to ask at the appt would be very gratefully received Smile

hey guys, hope this anger inducing insterdiffer you are referring to wasn't me! (tee hee) Blush Confused
I did get my BFP after on a month on here, but had been 16 cycles TTC before that!
I do remember posting that we did DTD everyday that month though!
Sadly that one wasn't to be and I have no idea quite how we managed everyday, just 4 days in a row this month was enough!!

Thankfully shifts and nights were kind to us though so not too much of a nightmare - hard to be in the mood when you have been on an early and up since 6am and having to wait up till he gets home at half ten then persuade him does not need to 'wind down' at all and should just come strait to bed! Usually if this is the case he leaves me to lie still and get back up himself for a few hours, romantic huh?? Grin

We bought this house before deciding to start TTC, tidied the spare room nearly two years ago and have mentally decorated it in my head a thousand times, planned our room and were bedside cot wound go etc - don't let myself anymore after mc and keep the rooms a tip almost deliberately/subconsciously! (thats my excuse and I am sticking to it!)

Hello (waves) snowlily & flopityflop Smile

mrswalker how raised is your temp? of it is 38 or higher you should get checked out with you having abdo pain as well! GP should want to give you an abdo examination at the least

Thats good mrs! do you ever get IBS? I have mild IBS but sometimes the pain is really similar (and I swear in exactly the same place) as when I ovulate - if it goes on for more than a few days I can get a bit sicky too and have heartburn and nausea, not sure if this is coincidence, but they are rubbish together. Did get some Lansoprazole from gp for a couple of months for indigestion/excess acid bit have stopped taking it now we are ttc again and I can feel it creeping back Angry.

Evening all. Had my initial scan for my IUI today and got my antral follicle count which I've been really stressing about due to high fsh. Anyway my afc was 21 and was told that is normal for my age so feel a bit better about the whole low ovarian reserve malarkey. No idea why my fsh are elevated but I guess that just remains a mystery. First injection tonight!

Hey snowlily I'd definitely be interested in hearing about your eating plan too!

mrs is that a fc appt you've booked in with or an appt with the docs?

hello all

It is CD5 so nothing going on yet, hella day at work, going to get pissed have a drink.

Yeah, v hopeful for DH's new meds. It is unbelievably shit waking up the next day and realising he has a crashing headache due to the fact that we DTD the previous night :( I am really hoping these smaller doses will help. And mean that we can be more spontaneous.

Fingers crossed!

feather what is going on with you now?

Great news yorkie always good to know things aren't as bad as you thought they might be Smile .

How are you feeling now MrsW? I don't have any advice on the long cycles but maybe Boom or Charming could help.
I struggled a little today on the inset day as colleague on maternity had come along as well as bump being there. And the first thing the trainer asked was 'how many of you have children?' then 'who has more than one?'. Innocent questions and asked to make the point that even with the same genes and upbringing no child is the same, but still made me sad. And now DP is off for a run with best mate and I've asked him to confirm our suspicions about his wife Sad . Was feeling ok ish but now just dreading him returning with the answer Sad .
