Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

OP posts:
IamKuma · 01/11/2013 06:22

bunny I'm so glad you sorted out the room. my DH almost always gets a room change. I find in terribly embarrassing, but it has good results. enjoy the rest of your holiday.

lady I have everything crossed for you.

because welcome. I think that if you get up early enough it counts as the night before anyway Wink

Happy Friday everyone Grin

happylass · 01/11/2013 07:47

Ugh. Dreamt I was pg last night then woke up to an email telling me about the Cardiff Baby and Toddler Show. Double whammy before I've even got out of bed Sad

Boodle9 · 01/11/2013 09:37

Morning Berries!

Lady I hope everything is still looking good and sticky today?

Bunny, well done on the room upgrade. You deserve a proper, nice holiday!

Happy, what a rotten dream. Damn your cruel brain for going that to you. Fortunately I don't get that problem as I have really abstract, surreal dreams!

So, how's everyone else? I've had to steer clear of the internet this week as being half term I'd spent most of the time googling IVF and getting myself in a state. 10 dpo here and no hope whatsoever, but my last go on clomid maybe is keeping the luteal phase long at least.

SidneyBristow · 01/11/2013 09:48

Finally got a strong line on an OPK stick today, CD16 Hmm more confused now than ever, because it was just on CD7 last week at my scan that the consultant said he thought I was 'very close' to ovulating, ie within a couple of days. At that time he measured my left follicle at 19mm x 18mm. Right one was huge due to not having popped the month before.

Not at all sure what to other than wondering if my body's timing is completely whacked!! Is it at all possible for the follicle to be big enough to go, but your LSH level to peak after the follicle is too huge/too old, and thereby be completely useless?

ladybunnikins · 01/11/2013 10:34

Sid I have no idea but I guess that's the thing with unexplained, there probably is actually a cause but science hasn't discovered it yet. Get to it anyway!
Boodle yes, all good, I PIMPed this morning and the IC that was blank yesterday had a faint line. I've just ordered some more from amazon just so I can keep PIMPing!

ladybunnikins · 01/11/2013 10:37

Zita West and Robert Winston on This Morning soon.

ladybunnikins · 01/11/2013 10:59

I'm just watching it, I don't think Robert likes or respects Zita!

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 11:07

Boodle was wondering how you were getting on. When is IVF scheduled the start? (Assuming you don't get your ironidiff this cycle of course)!

SidneyBristow · 01/11/2013 11:54

Just a show of hands, then, which Berries are looking to start ivf in the next 3-4 months? I'm one. Thinking we'll start the process in nov-dec and go for a first cycle in July.

Have just discovered ewcm so am feeling more confident that opk stick is accurate & that LC 8 days off base Hmm

SidneyBristow · 01/11/2013 11:56

Meant January, not July. Damn you autocorrect!!Smile

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 12:18

I was just about to ask why you were waiting til July. Sid I know you've spent a fortune already but could you get a cheap scan to confirm O this month??

SidneyBristow · 01/11/2013 12:58

LC wants to do a scan on my next CD1 (if there is one) and presumably that would show either a blown follicle, or two huge ones that never popped? (right one from last month's Clomid cycle, left one from current cycle)?

BlueBirdy · 01/11/2013 13:38

Hey Lady - congrats!! Smile FX everything goes perfectly for you from now on... Re This Morning - had no idea who you were on about (just googled them) think I'll watch it on demand in a bit.

Sid do you temp at all? If you see a tempreture rise then at least you can be sure you O'd. Also it may show an implantation dip, so it's very useful... I've got our first FC appt in two weeks, so will find out then what the plan is. Don't know how likely it would be for them to put us straight onto IVF, but with DH abysmal results it could happen that soon! Hope you have O'd anyway!

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 13:50

Sid FX for you and an ironidiff!

barkingtreefrog · 01/11/2013 16:20

Been trying to plan lessons for next week since 9am and am losing the will to live. Have come to the Berries for a break! Already feeling overwhelmed by the amount of stuff to do this half term and I'm still technically on holiday!!

I've read through the posts from today and I can't even process them in my muddled brain, so I'm not even going to attempt to reply to anyone as I can't think sense let alone talk it. I'm simply going to add myself to the list (now there's a chance I might actually be able to start ttcing again at some point this month) and go bake Cake instead.

Bunny - 33, TTC since June 2012, just had lap&dye, next step ivf/ICSI
Funky - 31. TTC since November 2012. A/w bloods and hycosy
Lady -34. TTC since Jan 2012. Having private IVF, cycle #1
Revolting - 34, ttc for real since May 2013 but with ishoos, AF due 23rd Oct
Yorkiebilb - 35, ttc since Sep last year. mmc last Dec. High fsh/high amh but no expert can tell me what this means. Currently on 1st IUI cycle.
mrsw - 35, ttc for real since May, endo caused by previous PID, AF AWOL for reasons none can explain, next step foot stamping for ref to FC
Happylass - 35. Started TTC Aug 2012 but currently on a break for wedding purposes. Seeing consultant for first time on Dec 19th
Birdy - 30, TTC 22 cycles, only just got referred to a FC, so at least the ball is rolling now.
PowderPuffs, 32, Cycle 12, AF on her 'orrible way any day now, 1st FC appointment in Nov
Feather - 34, pcos/no OV. One Fallopian tube. ttc since September 2011. Round six of clomid Oct '13. One more and then moving on to IUI. Probably.
Kuma - staring 39 in the eye, 11th month TTC. First appointment with FC on 27th Nov.
Boodle - 30, Cycle 28, round 4 of clomid ; no great expectations. Waiting for IVF referral.
BecauseIsaidS0, 40 in December (eek!!! Shock), ttc since May 2013, already despairing due to old age and resistance to go to doctors Sad
Barkingtreefrog - 34, ttc 23 months, clomid bfp Aug 2013, mc Sept, AF AWOL for 8 weeks, now on Provera to get it back & carry on with clomid.

And I just tried to move the pg berries down so I could add myself on the ttc list and I've lost them.... I honestly did not do this deliberately! Can you please add yourselves with bfp dates as the week + day thing goes out of date v quickly? Then we can see the order you boarded the chopper!

Right, off to make battenburg. I've been meaning to find time all week!

BecauseIsaidS0 · 01/11/2013 16:41

Must be in the air - I've lost the will to live today too. We DTD-ed on Sunday and Tuesday, then yesterday suddenly OPK positive (three days earlier than expected) so DTD-ed but now DH is away tonight and I fear that by the time we get to DTD tomorrow the egg will be a goner Sad.

I'm also mild embarrassed about putting all this info on a public forum but it is for my own (and DH's) sanity! Blush

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 16:46

Because, you will soon not have a shred of embarrassment left.I remember writing about crying on DH because he said he was too tired to DTD... We've all been there!

BecauseIsaidS0 · 01/11/2013 16:48

Aw, thanks! I love your name btw Grin

FeatherFeather11 · 01/11/2013 17:00

Just checking all! Bitch of a day at work and it ain't over yet. Sheesh.

Still no af, 16dpo. Picked up my last round of clomid this morning. Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!

Gillster · 01/11/2013 17:06

To answer Sid's question about starting IVF, I am expecting to get one free go in before I turn 40 in March after which, I will no longer be eligible. Don't know dates but hoping we'll have a better idea after our FC appointment on Tuesday where they will review our results and decide on a course of action. From what they said last night at the open evening, if you are eligible for treatment it usually stars within 1-4 months of appointment. My main worry is that they are closing the lab down over Christmas so they'll be people who would potentially start treatment now but are going to have to postpone until the hospital can accommodate them. This then makes things very busy for Jan/Feb for when I would expect to start. I'll just have to play the age card and hope I get to the front on the queue. They said that they deal with around 25 couples per week for egg collection which seemed a lot to me and that referrals were only increasing.

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 17:10

gill that's really exciting... Keep us posted on what they say on tue
feather did you O? Are you charting? Still bfn?

CharmingCats · 01/11/2013 18:08

Hello! Heading for bed soon as early flight, but wanted to check in with me berries.
mrsw your metformin prescribing GP sounds wonderful. V we'll informed. Metformin has completely regulated my cycles, within 3 weeks of starting. Ask for the slow release kind, as the regular one upsets your tum. Good luck!
Cake to all x

FeatherFeather11 · 01/11/2013 18:22

merkin definitely o'd! Had the hcg trigger and my 21 day bloods done and progesterone was at 53.2. Had some spotting/discharge on 12dpo bloating etc - thought af was about to arrive and then it stopped. Been doing internet cheapy hpt every day since10dpo and all very bfn. I'm going a little nuts!

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/11/2013 18:30

Feather is it worth trying a digital test? I know of someone on the BESH thread who couldn't get the ICs to work for her

FeatherFeather11 · 01/11/2013 18:50

merkin maybe. Good idea. Will pick one up in the morning. Off out for some Wine now. Not sure it's the greatest idea, but I'm 99.9% sure I'm a bfn. Have a lovely Friday eve, all!
